Staying here saves you the 10 Baht per person pier fee (for boat transfers). It's also very close to the pier, the service is excellent, and the location is fantastic.
All things considered, for just over 300 Baht a night, the value for money is truly exceptional."

"Lovely part of Lipe, you can do to the water and do snorkeling right away. I got a room near the beach on the first floor. Spacious with all windows so you can make your room quite bright. The problem is you can hear everything than happens on the second floor , it was quite annoying when people came and started walking and it woke me up. Breakfast is so so but eatable. Coffee and tea are free the whole day. One manager was extremely helpful and everytime was coming to ask her she was more than willing to help or solve my problems! I will post her picture here she was really great!"

"I stayed in the Akira for a total of 5 nights and I loved every bit of it. Located right at the beach, it is super close to the walking street, perhaps a five minute walk. In fact, you do not need to leave the hotel as the friendly staff (Meeda's team is great) helps you with everything. The facility also features are great restaurant with super affordable prices, plus there is a BBQ every single day just in front at the hotel at the beach front. I had to change rooms twice and saw three rooms of different categories, all of them were clean, spacious, and just great. If I decide to go to Ko Lipe again, Akira - without a second of a doubt - would be my choice."

"We spent three days here; it was quiet and comfortable! Located in a fantastic spot on Sunrise Beach, the hotel offers free snorkeling equipment, the staff are friendly and helpful, there's a fine restaurant to the right, and canoe rentals to the left. It's a 15-minute walk to the bustling area! Facing Wuxin Island, the hotel is right on the beach, offering privacy and tranquility, especially beautiful at sunrise! However, the surrounding houses are built along a wooden boardwalk on a steep slope, and since we stayed at the top, climbing up and down was a bit tiring, but the staff were very attentive to our needs! Breakfast was decent, served à la carte."

"This is my second consecutive year staying at this hotel. Booking a sea view room this time made the experience even better. Our room was conveniently located to the right of the lawn, just a 30-meter walk from the restaurant, which offered direct sea views. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and comfortable; I'll definitely book a full week on my next visit! Breakfast was pretty good, with freshly made noodle soup that was very satisfying. During the off-season, they even offer a 10% dining discount voucher. We could bring our fresh catch back from fishing directly to the restaurant to be cooked for 300 Baht per kilogram. It's a decent price; even though it's 50 Baht more expensive than the walking street, I personally feel Benhard Restaurant offers a much better and cleaner environment."

"My friend stayed in room G22 on the ground floor, and found it quite good.
1. **Location:** Upon arrival at Pattaya Beach, simply walk left. You can entrust your luggage to the hotel staff and walk over yourself, which saves 10 per person per trip on island transfer fees.
2. The main entrance offers easy access to Walking Street. For Sunset Beach, exit via the back door at the top of the property, turn right, and it's a short walk away.
3. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied, featuring a wide range of options like vegetables, fruits, meats, carbs, milk, and eggs, easily fulfilling your daily dietary needs.
4. We stayed in a garden view room, which offered great value for money. Although it was a bit of a walk to our room at the top of the property, there was a complimentary shuttle service available.
5. While there were some mosquitoes outside the room, we didn't encounter any inside, nor any other insects. The only minor downside was the shower pressure, which was just average; otherwise, everything was great."

"The hotel's advantages are its location and good breakfast, complete with a coffee machine. However, the rooms are a bit tired and had a slight musty smell. You could leave the AC on when leaving the bungalow; I never turned mine off, and the musty smell wasn't noticeable afterward. The AC blows directly onto the bed, but there's a handy, tall drying rack. I used to hang my clothes on it and place it between the bed and the AC, so the airflow would hit the rack instead."

Номера большие, чистые, современные и есть все необходимое, халаты, фен, даже тапочки очень удобные, хотели узнать где такие купить😁 в номере холодильник, кондиционер, вентилятор на потолке в комнате и на веранде, есть сейф и даже средство от комаров) Персонал очень приветливый и отзывчивый. От отеля есть бесплатное такси на ужин с 17 до 18, в другое время они могут вызвать такси для вас и это будет стоить 100бат. Так же встречают и отвозят к порту тоже бесплатно. Завтраки вкусные, заказываешь по меню. Пляж маленькие, но уединенный, справа от него лучший пляж на острове, пройти 3 минуты через камни-когда нет отлива и по берегу -во время отлива. Еще отель предоставляет бесплатно маски для снорклинга, каяки и сабы.

Rooms were always cleaned and the private pool was always cleaned. One and only down fall is the distance to walking street but the hotel can arrange taxi for you each time and they have one free taxi every evening at 6pm

MMarldeboneI have no idea how Idllyic rates as highly as it does. And I’ve stayed at 5 different hotels on Koh Lipe, so I’ve got a good basis for local comparison.
It’s not *bad* - the problem is that it’s priced as a premium option when the reality is in many ways non-premium. It looks kind of fancy on the outside, but that’s a veneer.
Basically, it’s bad *value*. If they charged half as much as they do I’d be giving it 8/10 & be pretty happy. But for what they charge it’s a disappointing 4/10.
The good:
The beach is beautiful. This end of Sunrise Beach is one of the nicer spots.
Lots of sun-lounges placed on/near the actual beach, which can be lacking at some places.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Not as proactive as I’ve experienced elsewhere (which is probably a management issue) - but they’re still good.
The setting / gardens are quite nice, albeit feel a bit cramped - lots of big buildings in a small space.
The bad:
While in general I’d rate the cleanliness of the place as high, there were several large & obvious stains on the duvet (very visible through a (clean) top sheet).
The room (a “Deluxe Cabana Garden View”) was quite small for the price. The place I stayed on Koh Lipe immediately prior - which was leagues better in every way - about 25% more money got me a (much nicer) room ~3x the size.
Room was looking pretty tired & quite poorly maintained. Particularly the bathroom.
Multiple rain leaks in the shower ceiling/walls - one above the towel rain, and combined they splash water all over the bathroom floor. Cracked perspex panels & rotted wood trims in the bathroom, poorly applied caulk & overpaint, water stains, etc. Both doors jam in their frames. The sort of rooms that probably looked/were amazing when new, but not any more.
Shower doesn’t drain properly & often lets out septic-tank-smells. Not uncommon for accom on a small island like Lipe, and not the end of the world, but I would’ve expected better for the price. Plus a (fresh water) leak from a hose connected to the toilet.
Food & drink prices are obscene for Thailand, even by the standards of higher-end places on Lipe. And to add insult the food items I tried were average. It’s also literally the only place I’ve stayed (or eaten) on Lipe which adds VAT & a 10% service charge - that I have zero confidence is actually going to the staff - on top of prices. Which just feels cheap & petty. Charge what you’re going to charge - but just list what the total cost is going to be.
Breakfast buffet is disappointing - variety is poor (for the price point), food isn’t great, and any “hot” food that’s not cooked specifically for you will be cold.
The annoying:
They practically force you to install their app, nominally to allow messaging with the hotel staff. And it does do that. But they also use it to spam you with constant push notifications trying to get you to buy stuff. They’ve sent 7 *so far* just today. And there’s no way to turn them off. The fact they don’t have a way to disable promotions says a lot about the place I think.
The rooms are really poorly *designed*, eg:
One accessible powerpoint in the entire room (outside the bathroom) - and it has the switch & plug so close that you can’t plug a phone charger into it. There isn’t even a power point for the kettle.
The chandelier-lamps in the room act like wind chimes with the AC on. So you can either have a cool room, or have a constant jangling noise.
Very hard & uncomfortable mattresses (a bit subjective, but these are *hard*).
One small towel rail in the whole bathroom/room. Good luck if you want to hang two bath towels - or even a hand towel - or want to dry your swimsuit inside.
I’ll finish reiterating what I said at the start - this place isn’t *bad*. It’s just not particularly good, in a whole myriad of ways, while pitching & pricing itself like it’s great. You can do far better for the same (actually, less) money.

FForeverloved33We stayed one night and mostly relaxing at the place. Excellent location, on sunrise beach and then can walk to sunset beach in the evening which is nearby, less crowded beach. Service by the hotel staff is also excellent 😁 The breakfast and lunch we ordered was good..
Although do think they should make it adult only hotel as kids in the other villas during the day can be noisy which can’t be avoided. Otherwise Great for couples for special occasion or a romantic getaway 👍🏼

The clean room and private bathroom had everything for a comfortable stay. 5 star comfort and service, fantastic location near the hustle and bustle of walking street and close to the beaches but tucked away far enough for a good night's sleep.
Beautiful Pinock, the warm and welcoming owner with her calm, peaceful demeanour, and her staff made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.
Thank you to all at the Nest. You know how to run a hostel (it is more like a hotel), and your hospitality and generosity speak volumes.

I had to call the hotel staff repeatedly for assistance. The next day, after checking out and moving to a new hotel, I realized I'd left something behind. However, the staff were incredibly helpful and even delivered it to my new accommodation. That's fantastic service!
