"El Lipe Beach Resort is, overall, very good. It's a cabin just steps from the beach, and while the interior is a bit dated and could use some maintenance, it's spacious, pleasant, and comfortable. I even had a small porch to sit on. The bed is relatively comfortable, and the shower only has lukewarm water – there's no heater to adjust the temperature. The breakfast is fantastic; you have everything you need to go back for more (fruit, muesli cups, coffee, juices, and then you order from the menu options). The staff are incredibly kind and friendly.
The beach is a joy when the tide is high/medium. I definitely would have stayed longer for some relaxing downtime, and I'd come back again."

"The room was spacious, and we had direct access to the pool. The beach and ocean were absolutely beautiful, offering excellent value for money. Breakfast was also quite good; it's a great hotel for a vacation. The only downside was some odd service. We couldn't rent kayaks in the afternoon, but in the morning, the waves were too strong to enjoy them. The calm afternoons would have been perfect. Our luggage wasn't delivered to our next hotel on time, and our request for towels through the app was completely ignored."

"My friend stayed in room G22 on the ground floor, and found it quite good.
1. **Location:** Upon arrival at Pattaya Beach, simply walk left. You can entrust your luggage to the hotel staff and walk over yourself, which saves 10 per person per trip on island transfer fees.
2. The main entrance offers easy access to Walking Street. For Sunset Beach, exit via the back door at the top of the property, turn right, and it's a short walk away.
3. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied, featuring a wide range of options like vegetables, fruits, meats, carbs, milk, and eggs, easily fulfilling your daily dietary needs.
4. We stayed in a garden view room, which offered great value for money. Although it was a bit of a walk to our room at the top of the property, there was a complimentary shuttle service available.
5. While there were some mosquitoes outside the room, we didn't encounter any inside, nor any other insects. The only minor downside was the shower pressure, which was just average; otherwise, everything was great."

"Castaway is by far the best resort on Koh Lipe. It's quiet and tucked away from the busy walking street. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for a relaxing place to unwind and read a book and just check-out from busy life. A shout out to the Joy and Saul at the dive shop. Most resorts advertise having a dive shop but in reality what they have is an arrangement with a local dive center who pick you up and drop you off. Castaway's dive shop is in the resort and very friendly and professional. If you are a diver go talk to Joy, she's an amazing teacher."

"This is my second consecutive year staying at this hotel. Booking a sea view room this time made the experience even better. Our room was conveniently located to the right of the lawn, just a 30-meter walk from the restaurant, which offered direct sea views. The rooms here are incredibly spacious and comfortable; I'll definitely book a full week on my next visit! Breakfast was pretty good, with freshly made noodle soup that was very satisfying. During the off-season, they even offer a 10% dining discount voucher. We could bring our fresh catch back from fishing directly to the restaurant to be cooked for 300 Baht per kilogram. It's a decent price; even though it's 50 Baht more expensive than the walking street, I personally feel Benhard Restaurant offers a much better and cleaner environment."

"An unexpected surprise! The room was great, with the pool right outside the window. The water was very clean and the view was excellent; you could see a beautiful sea view from the pool.

"First of all, the hotel itself is nice and close to the water with a nice view, this can be definitely recommended.
But there are a couple of things that are not good. 1. A generator is running around the clock close to the entrance which vibrates through the ground. Earplugs were necessary to sleep. 2. The bar with awesome view closes 8pm already. 3. Lack of space for breakfast, you need to wait and come back until a table is free 4. E.g. Omelette is not possible to be served with vegetables at all, just egg and cheese in it, thats it. Milk, Salt, etc. needed to be refilled by actively engaging with the staff 5. The location is really far away from everything, but this is not serious as it can be considered. One night is okay, but there is not more around to be seen. Sunrise or Pattaya Beach has mu g more to offer."

Let me provide an objective overview of my stay.
👍🏻**The Good:**
First off, the hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, with every single team member demonstrating professionalism. Their attentive and friendly service truly made us feel happy and valued. The hotel boasts a superb location; its private beach is fronted by reefs and mature trees, offering plenty of shade, which made it pleasantly cool for daytime activities. Every single bungalow provides a stunning sea view! Plus, they offer a complimentary transfer to the pier when it's time to depart.
😮💨**The Not-So-Good:**
On the downside, the hotel's facilities are a bit dated. The floorboards in our room creaked noticeably when we walked around. We also found quite a few mosquitoes and other insects in the bungalow, and the shower water pressure was rather low. The breakfast is à la carte, but the food quality was just average.
**In Summary:**
If you're planning a trip to the island, I'd suggest splitting your stay: two nights near Pattaya Beach (by the pier) and two nights on the Sunrise side.
**A Final Clarification:**
The hotel does not provide complimentary kayaks. However, there are numerous kayak rental options available right along the beach.

TTotsy.daisyWe absolutely loved our stay at Serendipity! Our room, located right at the very top, came with a private pool and offered ultimate privacy — truly a peaceful escape. The beach is tucked away at the far end of Sunrise Beach, making it wonderfully secluded from the crowds and the long-tail boats.
The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious! We especially loved that breakfast could either be enjoyed at the restaurant or served right to our room for a more relaxing morning.
The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Plus, the resort provides free snorkel gear and kayaks for guests who want to explore the beautiful waters nearby.
All in all, it was a superb stay — excellent service, top-notch views, and pure serenity. We loved it to bits and would come back in a heartbeat! 🌴✨

The hotel is perfectly located right in the center of Pattaya Beach, with the Walking Street right next door. It's great for both quiet relaxation and lively activities.
The rooms are spacious and newly renovated. On Christmas Eve, they even had a performance, which really added to the festive atmosphere. The hotel's restaurant faces the sea, with comfy bean bags and hammocks, creating a wonderfully relaxed vibe. All in all, Ananya Resort will definitely be my top choice for my next visit!

Easy to walk to walking street and explore sunrise beach. Pattaya beach not far to get to via walking street! Take a taxi boat to Koh Anong for a morning or afternoon. Great snorkelling off the little island in front of the resort which you can access using the complimentary kayaks and snorkelling masks! However, it's quite close to the hotel restaurant, and some people would chat loudly late into the night. There was no staff to stop them, even at a very late hour. At high tide, the sound of the waves was quite loud at night. At low tide, you can go beachcombing right away. Honestly, it's pretty good overall. The beachfront cabins lack a bit of privacy, but it's convenient for getting things back and forth. There were mosquitos by the sea.

First off, considering the island's overall snorkeling quality, convenience, and the most stunning ocean views, Sunrise Beach truly stands out. Other beaches often accumulate some waste due to ocean currents. This hotel is positioned on the far right of Sunrise Beach, directly facing a small island perfect for paddleboarding and snorkeling, which you can even walk to during low tide. Step right out to the pool and beach, and the walking street is just a short stroll away, making it ideal for families, couples, and leisure travelers. The hotel offers complimentary snorkeling gear and kayaks, which makes snorkeling and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Renting these yourself would typically cost around 200 Thai Baht per hour. You can also borrow snorkels and masks, though for hygiene and safety, it's recommended to bring your own snorkel.
## Spacious and Comfortable Rooms
The rooms are generously sized. We stayed in a Balinese-style luxury standalone pool villa, and the pool was literally just 10 steps from our door. My boyfriend and I loved swimming right outside our room during the hot, high-tide afternoons, then relaxing with naps and fruit smoothies. In the afternoons, it was incredibly easy to grab a kayak and head out to sea.

The hotel isn't large, but it's charming and well-maintained. Staff service hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, meaning it's essentially a semi-self-service setup. The lush greenery is lovely, and the pool and restaurant views are definite highlights. Overall, the hotel atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing getaway.
## Friendly Service
The staff are warm, attentive, and the front desk service is very friendly. Our designated staff member, Pro, was particularly outstanding. From our arrival at the pier to our departure, he handled all our luggage. He also warmly transferred us when we switched hotels mid-stay. He even joked with us that the hotel's tree lizards were Komodo dragons! His warmth and humor were truly heartwarming.
## Suggestions
It would be good to improve air conditioning maintenance in some rooms, as it can be quite noisy at night. Also, checking and addressing the issue of mosquito larvae in water troughs outside certain room windows would be appreciated.
We stayed for 7 days, averaging 500 RMB per day. We visited during the off-peak season, so the island was indeed very quiet with many shops closed, but we still had a wonderful time. My boyfriend absolutely loved this hotel, finding it relaxing and cozy. He even said he'd rather move back here than stay in a 1000 RMB hotel!

BBusyinasiaIt has been out favorite hotel on the island. It is still very good. Great location (quiet), sea line with very beautiful area, some shade during the sunny day. Very good breakfast and ability to put additionally beds in the room. However, when we were there 5 years ago last time, the service was better. Just an example: there are pits with water next to each villa to clean the feet from the send. If you are a customer you get used to that pretty quickly because it is great that you don't bring the sand to your room and bed, then you actually need it. 5 years ago every time we woke up the pot already was full with water. This time it could stay out of water for the whole day and the half of the next day. Some people were pouring in drinking water there to make it possible cleaning the sand off. There are few other small things that degraded sadly. However, it is till one of the best on the island.

The house looks cheerful, simple inside, but the air conditioning is excellent, the water heater works, the water pressure is good. 2 bottles of water every day. Excellent breakfast, delicious, a lot, appetizingly served! The location is right on the beach, a nice small pool, a view of the ocean at breakfast. Perfectly working Wi-Fi in the cafe area by the pool, calls, files, everything without problems. A good beach is 100 meters to the left, the bottom is sandy, there are fewer boats there.
