"We had a wonderful stay at Ananya Lipe Resort. The location is perfect, with crystal-clear water, soft white sand, and breathtaking sea views. The resort is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was comfortable and spacious, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the island. Breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the beachfront restaurant offered delicious food with an amazing sunset view. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the beach and taking beautiful photos around the resort. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend Ananya Lipe Resort to couples, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful tropical vacation. We would definitely love to come back again!"

"The room was a bit dated. I'm not sure if the hotel was fully booked, but we were assigned a pool villa with a sea view that was somewhat obstructed compared to other room types. Our room was in the upper-level area, so the walk to the beach and back was quite long. It was so tiring that we didn't even want to leave the room for a second round! Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. Fortunately, the room itself was comfortable and clean. My kids had a great time playing in the pool and on the beach. However, the hotel's cliffside restaurant was also a letdown. While the scenery was superb for photos, the food quality was truly mediocre. In particular, the signature lobster was a real miss – it was bland and the shrimp meat was overcooked. The taste was very disappointing, and the price was a bit high, making it not worth recommending. On the positive side, the hotel breakfast was decent, and the in-room dining experience was also very good. How should I put it? These 'influencer-hyped' hotels aren't for long stays; it's fine to experience them once, as long as you manage your expectations for any potential letdowns!"

"This hotel is just 200 meters from Pattaya Beach Pier, a bit quieter than The Ananya. Walking Street is also very close if you walk along the beach. The breakfast was decent, and the Thai milk tea was delicious. The service was good too; they helped us with our luggage and took us to the boat, which seems to be standard for island hotels – something Koh Lipe does better than Koh Samet. We went during the low season, so the prices were cheaper, and there were fewer people. The pool was practically empty. You have to pay to use the hotel's kayaks, whereas the one at The Plantation was free for two days, though the kayaks there weren't as good as Akira's. The room was large and quiet, and the 2-meter bed was very comfortable. I recommend this place."

"Castaway is by far the best resort on Koh Lipe. It's quiet and tucked away from the busy walking street. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for a relaxing place to unwind and read a book and just check-out from busy life. A shout out to the Joy and Saul at the dive shop. Most resorts advertise having a dive shop but in reality what they have is an arrangement with a local dive center who pick you up and drop you off. Castaway's dive shop is in the resort and very friendly and professional. If you are a diver go talk to Joy, she's an amazing teacher."

"A long stretch of white sand beach, and if you walk a little north, you can catch the sunset at North Point. 🌊 The sea changes color many times throughout the day, but it's always incredibly blue, and beautiful even in the rain. 🛌 The rooms are more modern, but you have to wait a bit longer for hot water in the shower (staff said it's because it's low season). 🚣 Free 1-hour kayak/paddleboard/snorkeling every day. The first time I tried it, a hotel employee even taught me, and the next day they took me to a nearby island to snorkel. 🐶 Lots of cute dogs on the beach, and hardly any mosquitoes. The restaurant food is delicious, and the buy-one-get-one-free happy hour drinks are great. There are three round-trip shuttle buses to Walking Street every evening. It’s all the little details that make it so comfortable, like the automatic trash cans 🫶. I didn't want to leave, this is what a resort should be. (The only downside is that the breakfast selection is small and very average.)"

"This is a very famous sunset hotel with beautiful sea views. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bathtub downstairs, which I didn't discover until the second day. Soaking in the tub while enjoying the sea view was absolutely delightful! The hotel's food is quite tasty, especially dinner, where you can also watch the sunset – it's stunning. The staff speak a little Chinese, are enthusiastic, and have a great attitude. The beach is private to the hotel; the sand is a bit coarse, but it doesn't detract from enjoying the sea views or kayaking. It was excellent, and I'll definitely come back again!"

"We stayed 5 nights at Akira Lipe Resort and 3 nights at Mali Sunrise Beach Resort. Although Mali Resort was more expensive, overall Akira Resort was much better in almost every aspect. In terms of cleanliness, swimming pool condition, facilities, and staff friendliness, I honestly don’t understand why Mali charges a higher price. Sunrise Beach itself was beautiful, and we appreciated the complimentary kayak rental. Breakfast was also very good. However, there were some serious issues. The bedding was not properly maintained — while the outer cover looked clean, the inner duvet was yellowed and visibly stained underneath. Most concerning was the swimming pool. The pool water was visibly dirty even to the naked eye. After spending a long time swimming, both my husband and my child developed skin rashes and suffered from severe stomach problems. They had been swimming, diving, and accidentally swallowing some pool water. I did not swim at all, and I was completely fine, while both of them experienced the same symptoms. This strongly suggests that the pool hygiene needs urgent improvement. I visited in early February during peak season. Pattaya Beach, where Akira Resort is located, was calm, wave-free, and much more enjoyable for swimming and relaxing. Sunrise Beach, although beautiful, had very strong waves, making it less suitable for playing in the water. That said, kayaking to the small island directly in front of the resort for snorkeling was an amazing experience. This is definitely one of Mali Resort’s biggest advantages. Some of the restaurant staff were warm and kind, but most of the staff, including those at reception, appeared tired and expressionless. Overall, I personally do not think this resort offers good value for the price and would not recommend it. For the same budget, I would strongly suggest staying at Akira instead."

"We booked a bungalow for one night at over 5,000 rubles. It seemed like a decent price, considering the bungalow was small and not new, but apparently, by local standards, it wasn't enough. There's no air conditioning in the room, and no fridge, not even a tiny one. There's hardly any space to move around in the bungalow. Good thing we didn't have large suitcases, just backpacks and small travel bags, and it was already cramped. Nowhere to put our belongings, which was very inconvenient. There's a canopy bed, but you can't open the windows and doors because of all sorts of critters that might crawl or fly in. The fan doesn't do much in the heat; it's still very stuffy. In the bathroom, the sink is at Gulliver's height. The faucet is tiny, while the sink is large and set high up – also inconvenient. There was no hand towel, only a body towel. I guess they don't want you to wash your hands too often to save on wiping. Buuuut, there are also positives. The property is on the first line. The beach is good, and so is the water. It would be great if people weren't worse than pigs and actually threw their trash away after themselves. Also, more trash bins should be placed around, all over the island, really. They should definitely maintain the island's cleanliness. The dogs on the beach are very cute. The cats are hysterical. 😂 We love animals and nature, but comfort is important too. We'd really appreciate more comfortable conditions for our stay. But for one night, it was fine. Breakfasts are decent. Ideally, they'd have lactose-free milk options for coffee; the plain coffee is very bitter. There are sun loungers on the property, enough for everyone. Instead of umbrellas, there are palm trees. It's a good place, they just need to improve the service and not push up the prices."

"We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and our kids absolutely loved it. They kept saying it felt like a real treehouse! The glass roof upstairs was such a nice surprise—we even spent some time looking at the stars before going to bed. They also had so much fun in the private pool. If they weren't there, they were swimming in the main pool or playing on the beach, which is only a short walk from the villa. The beach is honestly beautiful. The water is so clear and such a gorgeous blue. One evening we walked to Sunset Beach to watch the sunset, and it wasn't far at all. The resort was quiet and relaxing, the food was really good, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. Before we left, my husband and I looked at each other and said, ”We have to come back here again."

"I really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty."
