"Stayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were ”shocked.” No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here."

"The room is clean and spacious (the bedsheets are a bit damp), the breakfast is good, and the waiter is very friendly. I arrived by plane that morning and thought I had to check in in the afternoon, but the front desk said that there were rooms available, so we checked in at 9 o'clock, which was very nice. There is a laundry room, you can bring your own laundry detergent or buy it by yourself at the front desk on the first floor. The White House, monuments and other attractions are within walking distance, Uber is also very useful, and it is very convenient to take a taxi from the hotel to the art gallery and the Capitol. Overall it is really good"

"The location is very good, and most scenic spots are within 2 kilometers. Although the hotel is a bit old, it still feels very tasteful. The service is a bit lacking. After the Amazon package arrived at the front desk, I asked twice and was told it was not available. Finally, I took a photo of the Amazon package and said it was found."

"The location is really wonderful! It’s close to the most famous places like the White House and DuPont Circle. you only need to take a bus to go to Georgetown. It’s about 10 minutes. The room is clean and I really recommend the restaurant on the ground floor! Overall this is a nice place to stay at when traveling in dc!"

"We love place,,beautiful without being extravagant, extremely clean place, an extraordinary conformable bed. The paid breakfast was excelent and the most important was its location. We walk to the national mall, all monuments, museums, restaurants and attractions.  We sure will choose Washington Plaza Hotel agramo and recommend to our friends and family. We are avid travelers and this is a gem of a Hotel."

"The hotel has a good environment and the rooms are very spacious. The breakfast is a set meal, and I also encountered breakfast time. The restaurant has not opened yet, which is a bit disappointing."

"The facilities are too old, and the air conditioner is very noisy. Not only the air conditioner in my room, but also the air conditioner in the next door and the corridor is almost all night long. The ice machine in the corridor is also very noisy. There is a lot of dust on the ceiling from the air conditioner. The lighting in the room is almost entirely dependent on a few table lamps and floor lamps. Not only is the light dim, but it is also very troublesome to turn the lights on and off at night. The hotel does not provide a buffet breakfast, you can only go to the restaurant to order, but the price-performance ratio is not high compared to the surrounding coffee shops. The biggest advantage is the good location, close to the subway station, some attractions can be reached on foot, and the surrounding environment is convenient and safe."

" 1. It's a good geographical location for sightseeing, so when I was tired during sightseeing, I would come in for a short rest and then go out again. 2. The air conditioner cooling/heating worked normally, and the bedding was clean and nice. 3. The sink, bathroom, and toilet are separated from each other. There is nothing particularly inconvenient, but it was disappointing that there was no bathtub. 4. The shower head in the bathroom was fixed at the top, so I couldn't move it freely, so this part was inconvenient. 5. There was a large TV, refrigerator, and iron. 6. The view was satisfactory because there was a nice building right in front of it. 7. But the real highlight of this hotel is the rooftop lounge. The night view from the rooftop is unparalleled. (Rooftop is very popular. It is a hot place with rooftop customers from early evening to dawn.) "

"Location is good, pretty close to the airport. No airport shuttle service though. Front desk people are nice and friendly. Room is clean. Love the neighborhood around the hotel. Many good restaurants within walking distance. It also takes about 15 minutes walking to the nearest metro station. My girls also loved the outdoor swimming pool. It’s pretty nice to swim in a pool with Washington Monument in the background. Definitely recommend this place to the families with kids."
