"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the Noma district. There's a Harris Teeter supermarket just around the corner downstairs, and a Trader Joe's a few hundred meters north. The closest metro entrance is 100 meters away, and another is about 200 meters, with a 7-Eleven next to it. Noma, in general, is very new; the streets are clean, and it looks much newer than many other areas in DC. It feels quite safe at night, with many apartment buildings around, housing a lot of working professionals. There are also plenty of dining options, including fast food. The room was relatively quiet, with typical Hilton amenities, though some facilities showed a bit of wear and tear, which wasn't a major issue. The staff, mostly Black or South Asian, were polite, enthusiastic, and easy to communicate with."

"I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — very close to the White House, with plenty of restaurants nearby. What I really appreciated was the daily cleaning service, which was always done thoroughly. The restaurant on the first floor was also impressive, with food and service comparable to a fine-dining restaurant. Everything about this hotel was perfect the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. If I visit Washington again, I will definitely stay here again."

Rising serenely above fashionable Embassy Row The Churchill Hotel offers travelers a haven of old-world refinement amidst the modern-day bustle of the nations capital. From the inviting ambiance of its finely appointed lobby to the gracious appointment of its oversized guest rooms to the personal attentiveness of its professionally trained staff every aspect of the hotel has been carefully arranged to meet the requirements of the most discriminating guests.

"Stayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were ”shocked.” No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here."

"Mixed feelings. The hotel is well located, with Washington Union Station nearby. The rooms are average; they’re clean, but a bit outdated and musty. The reception staff looked tired and unbothered. The hotel seems to operate only under daily timings; I was not able to get cleaning later on the day. The safe was not working and I had to wait until the next day for someone to come check it, same case for broken light in the bathroom. The fitness is well equipped. The hotel was not able to accommodate my request to cancel the last night, even though I was moving to another Hilton. Not necessarily the kind of service you’d expect from them. Amenities were available upon request, there’s a mini fridge in the room. There was no kettle available. Overall, for the price, you can get better in Washington DC."

"During my trip to Washington, D.C., I chose the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Largo - Washington, D.C. The overall experience was quite good, giving it a 4 out of 5. Parking is free and convenient, making it very suitable for those traveling by car. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and if you don't want to go out, there are restaurants within the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had a good night's rest. However, the breakfast was average, with limited variety and the taste could be improved. Overall, the value for money was good, and I would consider it again next time. "We booked Holiday Inns in almost every location on this trip, and this one was one of the better ones. It's conveniently located, has a small swimming pool, and is within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The rooms are clean, spacious, and cleaned daily. There's a microwave in the room, and breakfast is self-service, but juices are à la carte. Even with breakfast coupons, there might be a service charge. We didn't order any. There's free coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day."

"Good hotel. The location was ideal for us, a walk away from a lot of the tourist attractions. There was a lot of homeless and I wouldnt have liked to have been out late We choose the hotel because of the outdoor pool. We managed to get in it but it is very small (6 people is a squish). Comfy bed. The breakfast was good. There were queues but the signs tell you when the quieter times are - so we were fine. I would stay again"

GGuest UserI booked a superior queen room, but they gave me very small one. The room is so tiny that I won't be able to open my luggage if i had one. Fortunately we only had carry on luggage. The window is very tiny cutting corner of the room making it a narrow gap between the bed and the window. The corner of the bed hurt my leg a few times when I passed in and out . There are full of dirty marks on the small table. To my surprise, when checking in, the receptionist told me I have to pay US$32 extra for the facilities. I didn't understand what she meant. Then she gave me a card to read. And said it's on their website. This is a rip off. I never knew I would have to pay extra US$32. . Such a thing had never happened to me before.

CChristianI arrived a bit earlier, but my room was not ready. Okay, I can understand that. Going to the bell desk they tell me I need to pay when I get my luggage. Once I got my luggage, no one asked me to pay. I had a breakfast included but was leaving too early: of course, they do not provide lunch boxes, although they do sell them. The service is rather bad for a 300$ room.

GGuest UserOverall my stay was good - the hotel is well located, and has many options for food and necessities. The room was ok - bed linens were worn, the usb outlet by the desk didn’t work, but overall everything was clean and pleasant. I found the shower water handle a nice touch - you can start the shower and control water temperature on the side, without getting in. I had an unpleasant experience at the front desk - I was given misinformation by a clerk at check in, and even I asked about the charges, I was given incredible attitude by another clerk. At 700 a night, I expected better treatment. I spoke with the manager and they resolved my issue, however it took more time than I anticipated from my schedule.

CChristopher R KingThe hotel is located fairly near Union station, however there is a massive problem with homeless people hanging around outside. Overall, the rooms are clean if not a little dated. We had a question over credit card charges. Our family booked the room online with Trip and the hotel preauthorised our card $340 dollars, on arrival charged $200 dollars deposit and then took a further $190 for some reason until o removed the authority on the card. A two night stay is equal to $740 dollars while we wait for refunds. The hotel could do more to make sure dangerous homeless do not wait around outside, and when there was a problem in my last night outside the security disappeared. If you want a bolt hole in Washington DC this is okay, for a family friendly environment due to problems outside and charging issues this is not the place to visit

GGuest UserDisappointed in first room which had odd layout and faces alley so I requested better room and they quickly accommodated but would’ve preferred they gave me better room to begin with since I think most people don’t like odd layout with view facing alley. Otherwise, room/bathroom was clean, tv had good selection of channels, and location was perfect where we were just minutes walk from White House and national mall and many good restaurants. Note that I used SpotHero app and found cheaper parking than what hotel offered. Not all garages allow unlimited in and out so make sure to check for this before booking.

IIainThis was such a great discovery. Within easy walking distance of Union Station and Capitol Hill, I arrived after midnight, but the 24 hour concierge was on hand to welcome me, and quickly assist when I realised I was missing an email with door entry codes (resolved with one phone call to a 24/7 support line.) The suite itself was vast, light and airy, spotlessly clean and well equipped with mostly brand new cooking utensils, silverware, etc. All you could need from the kitchen, and a relaxing lounge area. The roof of the building boasts a pool large enough to do lengths, and the gym, shared with the Marriott Hotel next door was enormous, and well equipped with fully functioning equipment - rarely occupied by more that 6-8 others when I used it. Several local supermarkets are within 5 mins walk, and the receptionist was more than happy to let me leave my bag for the day after checkout and work from their relaxing lobby space.
