"My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I recently spent 3 lovely nights at Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row during our family trip to the nation’s capital, and it turned out to be the ideal choice for our little family of three. Located in the charming Embassy Row neighborhood, the hotel’s location is truly unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk to Farragut North Metro Station, allowing us to easily reach iconic spots like the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and the White House, which were perfect for our curious 5-year-old. We booked a deluxe room with two queen beds, which was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The room was impeccably clean, with bright, modern decor and soft lighting that made it feel warm and welcoming after long days of sightseeing. The plush beds ensured we all slept well, and the blackout curtains were a lifesaver for our son, who tends to wake up early with sunlight. There were plenty of USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi, which kept our son entertained with his tablet during downtime, and the room had enough space for him to play a little without feeling cramped. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel was, especially for a young child. The staff was incredibly warm and patient; they greeted our son by name after the first day and even gave him a small toy as a welcome gift, which made him feel so special. There were also convenient coffee stations in the lobby, perfect for a quick pick-me-up before we headed out to explore the city with our little one. The complimentary Canopy bikes were a fun activity for our family—our son loved riding in the child seat while my wife and I cycled around the quiet, tree-lined streets of Embassy Row. The concierge was also very helpful, recommending family-friendly restaurants nearby and helping us plan our itinerary to avoid crowds at the museums, which made our trip much smoother. Overall, our stay was wonderful. The hotel’s prime location, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful, family-focused service made our DC trip unforgettable. We highly recommend Canopy by Hilton Embassy Row to any family traveling with a young child—we couldn’t have asked for a better home base. We will definitely return on our next family trip to Washington DC."

"We arrived early and were greeted at the door, got checked in promptly, and doorman carried out bags to room. The view was beautiful, room comfortable, bathroom/ shower relaxing. We dined several meals both breakfast, dinner, and even mid-afternoon. Service prompt and food delicious. Staff very welcoming. Front desk helped us with sightseeing, restaurant suggestions, and very informative. A great location with all amenities!"

"Guest rooms are very spacious. Location is great: walking distance to Georgetown and five minutes to the DuPont Circle Red Line station. Check in and check out were fast. The fitness center equipment was upgraded during my visit. The pool was, however, closed for the duration. Staff were friendly. The business center’s printer’s toner needed to be replaced but wasn’t during my visit but front desk staff helped me with printing. Housekeeping staff are nice but sometimes maybe too busy and can forget to replenish everything, such as paper cups for the coffee machines. Generally very good value hotel."

"The most satisfying hotel in the United States traveled to the environment with artistic atmosphere. Modern art and equipment feel very comfortable. The wardrobe luggage area is well designed and there is a doorkeeper porch. Bathroom and sleep area isolation."

"I booked a king-sized room through Ctrip, and the reservation explicitly stated a 1.81-meter king bed. However, upon check-in, we were assigned a room with a bed less than 1.5 meters. After staying one night, we requested a room change, but the hotel insisted that this *was* their 'king-sized room'. Following Ctrip's intervention, we were required to pay an additional fee to upgrade our room, which Ctrip later refunded. When Ctrip contacted the hotel, the hotel's response was, 'We made no mistake! This is precisely the room type that was booked.' At this point, I'm unsure whether the hotel is being dishonest or if Ctrip is involved in deceptive practices. Regardless, I will never stay at this hotel again. A 'king-sized' room with a bed less than 1.5 meters is absolutely unheard of in North America! Furthermore, it remains to be seen whether Ctrip was genuinely misled or if they are themselves deceiving customers."

"Facilities: Newly renovated, I like the style very much, and the facilities are also complete, but the coffee machine is a bit hidden in the closet, haha😂 Sanitation: Clean and refreshing Environment: The surrounding facilities are also very good, and it is convenient to take a taxi to the scenic spots"

"This was our fifth visit to The Lyle. It is situated in a perfect location to access most sites by foot, and is only a short walk from a Metro station. Rooms are well decorated, with plenty of space, individual AC units and Nespresso machines alongside an incredibly comfortable bed. There is a gym situated on the lower level which is sufficient for a hotel stay, and a lovely bar and restaurant off the lobby. Staff are always friendly and helpful throughout our stays."

"The room is big, the hotel feels Indian style, the breakfast has few varieties, but the quality is OK. It is said that parking is free, but it refers to the parking lot a little far from the hotel, which is 20🔪 a night in front of the hotel."

"The hotel is in a good location, with lots of nice restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and clean, and all the staff were friendly. The only complaint was that they couldn’t provide a king-size bed for us, even though we paid and booked online. They explained that they had run out of king-bed rooms, so they gave us a room with twin beds instead, along with some breakfast vouchers to make up for the inconvenience. Compared with other hotels in the area, the parking is more expensive. It costs $83 per day. Considering the high parking fee, I would probably choose a five-star hotel instead. At this price, there are more hotel options with better overall value and parking rates."

"Extremely close to the White House, just a few minutes' walk away. It's very clean, and the linens are changed daily, making for a comfortable stay! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Washington."
