It was unclear to me when I booked online that a “physical” credit card was required to use for a damage deposit. *I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home. (I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me). The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱 I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱 It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental. SO…beware travellers!!

The hotel is located on the side of the road and is very convenient for self-driving and has free parking. Breakfast is good, Western breakfast, but there is hot water and fruit. The sea can be seen from the opposite side of the restaurant. The hotel is fully equipped with a swimming pool and a small gym.

I recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area.

Only downfall was that the water slide was down for construction and they did not mention that at all during booking, mainly why we chose this hotel….

This is a chain hotel airport to this hotel only 30 minutes to play about 70 knives. The hotel is close to the airport and convenient. I have chosen this chain hotel for the past few months. This hotel is branded clean and clean. The waiter is sincere. It is very convenient to go out to the bank supermarket. There are not many varieties of breakfast. It is OK to choose this brand of hotel next time and recommend surrounding relatives and friends 👍🏻

I didn't pay too much attention to the location, because we went there just for pure sleep and left the next day. The cleanliness is OK, but the fly in the ointment is that the bathroom lights are very dim, which is not very good for the senses. For the service, I told the hotel my membership number in best wersern when I made the reservation. I thought the staff could notice it, but it didn't. In fact, the experience of staying in a star-rated hotel will not be too bad, the comparison is to pay attention to the details. Set up, because it was during the covid-19 period, the breakfast was allocated by the staff, there were not many varieties, but it was basically enough. There is no milk. There is no milk. Lovely and friendly hotel which is selected for the second time. Better than in staying downtown if you don't mind in driving. Amenities and shopping malls surrounded. Highly recommended. Will be in staying this hotel if visit Halifax again.

Checkin was smooth, staff are nice and very accommodating, only thing is we were checked in a room where there are tick bugs. It was so horrifying, we checked in with our toddler as well. They were able to tranfer us to a different room, everyone was prompt to action this. But i dont think im gonna stay again at this hotel next time
