We are an Eco Farm Stay and have a spacious self-contained studio room. Location is five minutes’ drive from Orange. Within 15 minutes’ walk of several wineries. We have excellent views over the town and surrounding countryside. You will find it very peaceful and quiet with a homely feel. You can feed the Murray Grey cows, calves or chickens, spend time strolling through our cherry orchard or just do your own thing. We are very approachable but any contact can be your choice.Your accommodation is attached to our modern straw bale off grid home but separated by a locked vestibule so you have your own secure space. Sunsets and the night sky are spectacular.The comfortable 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4 people . The kitchen is fully equipped and a large dining table is in the open plan living area. A slow combustion fire can be lit to warm the cottage and provides a wonderful ambiance. There is a wood pile near the door for your use. The terrace provides a great place to sit and admire the views for sunset drinks, sampling your newly purchased local wines.There is much wildlife near the cottage. You are most likely to see kangaroos grazing and might be lucky enough to see the echidna wondering by. You will see many parrots and other birds.There is a welcome basket with breakfast items including cereal, fruit, tea, coffee and milk.The cottage is fully equipped and all linen and towels are provided. You can prepare your own meals, go out to one of the fabulous cafes and restaurants in Orange or bring in your takeaway. We have just redone our driveway so it is now all weather and is suitable for all vehicles.
