"Hotel is dated and with very basic amenities. Read some reviews that room slippers are not provided so I bought my own. Beds & pillows are comfy and blankets are warm enough to keep us warm.
Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast is awesome with quite a decent spread.
There's a bus-stop right in front of the hotel, where you can take to go to Interlaken Ost.

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Bellevue Hotel in Interlaken.
The location is fantastic — with plenty of restaurants just around the corner and the train station within easy walking distance, making it very convenient for exploring Interlaken and nearby areas.
Parking is convenient, which is a big plus if you’re travelling by car. Our room had a kitchenette, which was extremely helpful and added a lot of level of comfort and flexibility to the stay.
The hotel is well maintained, rooms are comfortable, and the experience was smooth and hassle-free throughout. The staff were friendly and supportive.
A great option for travellers who value location, convenience, and practicality. We would happily stay here again and recommend it without hesitation."

"The location is great, right outside the Interlaken train station. Although the price of a luxurious 5-star hotel is not cheap, the balcony room facing the Jungfrau is worth the wait. The breakfast is very rich. The hotel has a first-class Mercedes-Benz business car pick-up service. Staying for 3 nights is really the first enjoyment in life"

"Very nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes."

"Hotel Krebs is very conveniently located, just about a 3-minute walk from the train station, making it extremely easy to reach even with luggage. This was another lovely stay at Hotel Krebs, and it felt great to return once again.
The staff were as kind and welcoming as ever, with consistently warm hospitality that made the stay very comfortable and familiar.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Merkur, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and ensured my check-in process was quick and seamless. The hotel lobby was inviting and beautifully decorated, setting the tone for the rest of my stay.
My room was absolutely fantastic – spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was spotless, and I loved the toiletries provided.
The hotel’s location was perfect, situated close to the interlaken west station and local shops, making it easy to explore the area. I also enjoyed the morning breakfast in the restaurant, and the food exceeded my expectations – delicious, fresh, and served with excellent service.
Overall, I had a truly memorable stay at hotel Merkur, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and high-quality hotel experience.

TTheotoroAll hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony

CChunleitamInterlaken is a popular transit hub in Switzerland, and this hostel is right next to Interlaken Ost station, making the transportation super convenient. It's also massive, the largest hostel I've ever stayed in.
I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm. The room space was decent, but there were no privacy curtains, which meant privacy was just okay. You have to make your own bed, and when checking out, you also need to strip the sheets and take them to the front desk. There weren't enough power outlets, and the one at my bunk was broken. The room has a sink, but no private bathroom; you have to go to the shared facilities on each floor for the toilet and shower. You need to pay a deposit for a hairdryer.
The ground floor of the hostel is a restaurant. There's no kitchen or utensils (they only provide disposable cutlery for a fee), just a pantry (on the 2nd floor) with tables, chairs, a kettle, and a microwave. The hostel offers breakfast, which is a real luxury in high-priced Switzerland! There's a large Coop supermarket opposite the hostel (and the station).
The staff weren't overly enthusiastic, and while it attracts travelers from all over the world, the overall atmosphere was just average. However, its excellent location makes it a worthwhile place to stay.

The owner was also very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The price was very reasonable for the quality and location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Switzerland next time. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Interlaken!

Pros:
1. Hotel staff were friendly both at reception and breakfast
2. Rooms were fairly large and modern, views were incredibly (ask for mountain facing room)
3. They will give you an Interlaken guest card.
4. Location is about 7-10 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and surrounded by high-end shops.
5. There's free self-service coffee and tea making area at one of the floors and its helpful if you have a jug/bottle to fill cold/hot water
Cons:
1. Same breakfast everyday and it lacked variety
2. No kettle nor cups to make hot drinks (notice this is the case with hotels in Switzerland
3. TV channels were mostly in German language

GGuest UserFacilities: Absolutely loved the room, it was an unexpected delight. It was spacious, almost like a mini-suite, with a charming old European house vibe. The building itself is historic, filled with antique items. The decor was very comfortable, and the bed was great. The room had multiple balconies and windows with mountain views, and even old-fashioned keys, all contributing to a very reassuring atmosphere. There's also a public common area on the first floor where you can eat food brought from outside.
Breakfast was good, very Swiss.
Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the bathroom. Compared to other old houses I've stayed in, there weren't many insects here. It was cleaned daily.
Environment: It's very close to the East Station, but actually only a twenty-minute walk to the West Station, making it super convenient to get to the town's main attractions and shopping areas. It's also very quiet.
Service: The gentleman at the front desk during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic and meticulously explained everything. We also received an Interlaken City Card, which offers free public transport. Another lady was also very welcoming. One day later, a male staff member wasn't quite as understanding, but he still provided the necessary service, so it wasn't a big deal. It seemed like most of the hotel guests were Asian.

The restaurant staff are very helpful, and the reception staff are extremely friendly and supportive. Special thanks to Christian and Hadeer — their warm welcome made us feel comfortable from the very beginning, and because of them we decided to book this hotel.
Their kindness and the smiles they gave us every time we met truly touched our hearts. Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable stay.

A perfect stay. Very close to the train station, walking distance was like within 6 minutes only, and if you take the bus (105) it was only 3 minutes, with less than 30 seconds walk to the place. The free sauna was an absolute highlight, where you could enjoy a one hour, free and exclusive (only yourself and/or with your roommate only) sauna. The room was also very spacious and comfortable, bathroom bright and clean, breakfast very decent. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Love it.

We are so grateful to Hey Hotel for saving our holiday in Switzerland! We had originally booked an Airbnb (to experience stay in a house) near the interlaken west train station. Upon checking in, to our horror, the flat is so disgustingly dirty and smelled rotten. Not only that, there was roadwork in front and the security to the unit is also lacking. We immediately booked our remaining stay at Hey and our trip was saved! The service staff, a bespectacled gentleman, gave us a free check-in early in the morning and upgraded us to the best room for 4 — no qn asked! We have clean room and best view. The breakfast has amazingly good spread. And at a much cheaper rate than the Airbnb which offered nothing but burnt spice, dirty broken toilet and sticky, greasy flooring.
