Hotels with Parking in Heidelberg

"All in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer. It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times."

"We booked a room with kingsize bed, unfortunately when we entered the room it was a twin bed. Highest compliment to check in staff who handled the matter nicely. No room exchange was possible as the hotel was fully booked, but house keeping will put the bed together and on top double topper. We had a great time at Atlantic, in sauna as well as restaurant and hotel bar. From the balcony of the bar we were able to enjoy the fireworks at Heidelberg‘s old bridge. We will always come back."

"The hotel is next to the train station but there is an abandoned big shop in between the station and hotel. Walking to the hotel at night can be dangerous for solo traveller, in front of the place is a car park, and many stranger and homeless people is around the station. However, the bus and tram station is also next to the main station, it make it very convenient to the market. The room is smelly (not smoking smell) , not sure what it is. Front desk staff is helpful and allowed to store luggage during checkout."

"The location of this hotel is great, and the front desk people were nice too. But the facility was way below either the industry standard or our expectation - the knob of the shower was falling down, the curtain was also falling down and could not close; the reading light switch had no handle; and the shower drainage was blocked (see the photos) ---- shockingly this is in Germany!! Very, Very disappointed."

"Right on the Neckar River, on the other side of the river is Heidelberg, a good location. The breakfast is good, there are free parking spaces on the street, and the hotel has paid parking spaces. Nice hotel."

"The hotel looks new and the rooms are spacious and clean. It is located away from the main tourism attractions so it is quieter. There is a tram which goes from the hotel to the old town, but there is a bit of walking distance to the tram station. There are simple kitchen amenities in the room which is a plus point. The carpark is chargeable, but there are enough carpark spaces. It's a good place to rest and explore Heidelberg."

"Hotel is near the old town, comfortable, quiet, nice, good service, the breakfast is good. But the cost like to borrow umbrella cost you euro$2 for borrowing 2 hours. That’s not acceptable"

"The hotel is in a relatively modern area of ​​Heidelberg, not in the old town. Parking is located downstairs of the hotel and costs 14.8 euros. The room is quite clean and not too big."

"The location of the hotel is very good. The Lake Lucerne capel bridge is just outside the balcony. It’s easy to walk to the city center. It’s just hard to find the road to the hotel by car. The parking fee of 33 Swiss francs a night is also staggering"
