"This was my first time in Dandong, and I stayed in the all-river-view room at the Zhonglian Hotel. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Yalu River Broken Bridge, just across the road. The view is absolutely number one!
The hotel is an established four-star, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's worth staying a night just for this view.
The river-view rooms come with binoculars, which are handy for looking at the country across the river. If you're on a higher floor, you can see quite clearly with the naked eye, even without binoculars.
The hotel service was good, and breakfast was Chinese-style. The main highlight of your stay absolutely has to be that magnificent view from the large window."

"Only stayed here for one night but I had a great stay. Service was good - receptionist spoke basic English, room was excellent - extremely spacious and newly renovated, and the view was a million bucks - full Dandong skyline with the bridge and North Korea in the background (I got lucky but make sure you request a room with that view if that's what you want). Very convenient location too - next door to the train station. The hotel is dated but the room and location make up for it. Would definitely stay again."

The location was convenient, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, had a wonderful attitude. I'd definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it! The public area at the front desk is absolutely stunning for photos! Even though it was a rainy day when I visited, it was warm and cozy indoors, and it's very close to Duan Bridge. "This hotel offers an exceptional experience. All staff members greet you with a smile, whether in the hallways or the elevator, and the front desk personnel are especially welcoming. A special shout-out goes to Xiao Yin, the attendant on the 5th floor, who proactively asked about my needs and schedule. When I returned, my room was already cleaned and tidied. Parking at the Cultural Palace across from the hotel is very convenient. Upon departure, the hotel's front desk directly handles the parking fee, so guests just drive out. The hotel breakfast has a wide variety and good quality. It's a hotel that truly offers great value for money!"

"I usually stay at Ji Hotel or Orange Crystal when I travel, and their service is always excellent. They often upgrade my room for free or give me breakfast vouchers. This time, I booked Atour because I saw it was renovated in 2025, so it seemed newer. The environment is indeed new, and the facilities are great, but apart from that, there's zero service. When I asked how much extra to upgrade from a king-size bed to a twin-size, they immediately quoted me an additional 200, when my room only cost 300. Free breakfast was out of the question. The booking page mentioned free late-night porridge, but they didn't even ask me about it – seems like it was just written there for show, which is pretty frustrating. As I was checking out, they only offered me two bottles of water if I wrote a good review. Honestly, how cheeky of them! When I stayed at Orange Crystal or Ji Hotel before, they would always prepare a complimentary souvenir for us, even without asking. So, next time, I'll still choose Huazhu Group. Atour has caught up with its hardware, but the service hasn't followed suit. There's basically no service, and I'm quite dissatisfied!"

"Jackie was very attentive and responsible. The room arranged for us was perfect – non-smoking and facing the sun. It was excellent. The room had a desk, which was very convenient for the kids to read. I'm especially grateful for the help with printing the kids' test papers; the service was truly superb. The robot delivery for our late-night takeout was super convenient. There's a piano in the lobby, and I never expected my child could practice piano even while traveling. It exceeded my expectations and was totally worth it!"

The hotel's overall design is incredibly tasteful, blending New Chinese style with modern simplicity. The public areas are spacious and bright, with art pieces and greenery perfectly placed to create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The front desk staff's smiles and efficient, professional service instantly put me at ease. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, freshly renovated with no strange odors, and the details were spot on. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Although it was a bleak winter scene outside the window, the room was warm and spring-like, with soft lighting and a well-thought-out layout, making for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay.
Then there's the tranquil beauty of the Yalu River in winter – I had a river view room, and the vista was excellent. Even though it was winter, with bare trees on both banks and a quiet, desolate landscape, it only highlighted the clear and deep beauty of the Yalu River. Under the winter sun, it shimmered with a cool, serene glow, creating a unique sense of calm and openness.
But what truly touched and delighted me was the thoughtful 'souvenir' the hotel prepared. It wasn't the usual candy or simple stationery, but a bone china plate featuring illustrations of the Yalu River Broken Bridge and the scenery of North Korea across the river. It was full of local character and historical significance – a keepsake I could take home. This level of thoughtfulness goes beyond simple accommodation; it reflects the hotel's respect for guests' feelings and local culture, making it feel truly precious. SShibaobeilaoda.This hotel is perfect for friends visiting Dandong. It's right next to the Yalu River, and you can find it just behind the famous 'influencer wall,' so the location is fantastic. There are also plenty of dining options downstairs.
**Facilities**: All the facilities are quite new, and the room temperature was very comfortable. The only minor drawback was that the TV couldn't screen-mirror.
**Hygiene**: The room was incredibly clean and tidy. When we returned in the evening, the cleaning staff had already tidied up the room for us, thoughtfully provided extra amenities, and even folded our clothes on the sofa, haha, so cute!
**Environment**: The hotel environment is excellent. It's surrounded by scenic spots, and it's only a 7-8 yuan taxi ride to the shopping mall and old street, which is very convenient. The hotel's interior environment is comparable to a four-star hotel – very well-maintained, and the soundproofing is good too.
**Service**: The service was excellent. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) was very enthusiastic when we checked in and even helped us with a late checkout. The cleaning staff were also wonderful.
Overall, it was a very good stay. The hotel also offers breakfast, though we didn't get to try it. Highly recommend this hotel! 👍

XXiaocuiairuikeThe front desk lady is pretty and gentle, with a good service attitude. My child had diarrhea, and she gave me medicine for free, thank you very much. The room cleaning lady on the fifth floor of Area A was very good. The refrigerator was not hot, so she immediately brought a new good refrigerator, thank you 😊. The children were also provided with free slippers and toothbrushes. The hotel parking lot is huge, which gives self-driving tourists a super comfortable experience, without worrying about parking anxiety. The hotel is located by the Yalu River, and you can enjoy the river view for free without leaving the hotel, which is great. A very good trip to Andong.

ささとぅーThe view from the higher floors was amazing!!! You could see all of North Korea!
Everyone at the hotel was kind. There was a staff member at the reception who could speak broken Japanese. They upgraded my room. There's a cafe in the lobby and a sauna in the hot springs. It's a little far from the station, but it's less than a 10 RMB taxi ride away.
The windows were a little dirty, but that's unavoidable since it's on a high floor and is a common occurrence overseas. So it's not a negative point.
The bathtub was broken, so the jacuzzi wasn't available. But I was happy just to be able to bathe in the tub.
This is a divine hotel.

The breakfast is rich in variety, and the lunch buffet at noon is very cost-effective. It's just that the hotel is relatively old and the facilities are not very new, but it is very clean. The parking lot is large, so you don't have to worry about parking by car.

The weather on May 1st is still strong. There are mountains and waters around. It is very pleasant. The boss said that the maple leaves in autumn are better-looking. You can consider coming again in October.
The cabin has a complete range of indoor appliances. Water heaters, smart toilets, geothermal air conditioning, hand-made coffee and tea in the stove are very pleasant. Of course, outdoor camping inevitably has some emergencies, such as small bugs, bad nets, or broken electric curtains 😂 Normal heart ～ Since you choose camping, you can feel another life!
The only uncomfortable thing is from breakfast. The breakfast is delivered by the eldest sister. It is very good. Each breakfast is heavy and full. But the two of us can't eat too much. We asked for a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns and some pickles. The eldest sister said that there are salted duck eggs. I said yes, the eldest sister asked a few and I said if I could come two. When the eldest sister was going to get it for me, a fat little brother next to her pulled his face and said no, he could give one. At that time, I was particularly defeated. Our accommodation, the electric curtains are broken, the net is broken, and there are small bugs. We all endured it because a salted duck egg depends on the face of people. Please standardize your breakfast, okay! If you can have one and a half salted duck eggs, please print them out and stick them in a clear position instead of asking us on the spot. Finally, say you can give one.
If the boss wants to do service for a long time, he has to keep up. It is fun to spend money. It is not to see other people's faces!

The room is a suite in a single-family villa. The facilities are complete. The community is very large and the environment is very good. The suite can share public areas such as the villa lobby. The most prominent is the location, just at the entrance of Tianqiaogou Scenic Area, sharing the visitor center. The customer service is also in place, able to meet the personal requirements, and a pleasant stay. Under the guidance of the young lady at the front desk, I saw the sea of clouds at the highest point of the community the next morning, very beautiful.
