"Only stayed here for one night but I had a great stay. Service was good - receptionist spoke basic English, room was excellent - extremely spacious and newly renovated, and the view was a million bucks - full Dandong skyline with the bridge and North Korea in the background (I got lucky but make sure you request a room with that view if that's what you want). Very convenient location too - next door to the train station. The hotel is dated but the room and location make up for it. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive. The location was convenient, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, had a wonderful attitude. I'd definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it! The public area at the front desk is absolutely stunning for photos! Even though it was a rainy day when I visited, it was warm and cozy indoors, and it's very close to Duan Bridge. "The front desk staff demonstrated excellent service awareness and attitude. Any issues raised during my stay were promptly and effectively addressed.
I suggest the hotel invest in two commercial washing machines with automatic detergent dispensers and designate a clothes drying area. For laundry left in the machines without a room number or not collected promptly, either remove and hang it to dry or tumble dry it on a cool cycle for 30-50 minutes. (This advice also applies to guests who urgently need to use the machines and remove others' laundry for drying, as many modern garments made of cast synthetic fibers can easily deform or delaminate with high-temperature drying. For example, a single Descente shirt or pair of pants can cost around 2,000, and a jacket can be 3,000-4,000.)"

"I usually stay at Ji Hotel or Orange Crystal when I travel, and their service is always excellent. They often upgrade my room for free or give me breakfast vouchers. This time, I booked Atour because I saw it was renovated in 2025, so it seemed newer. The environment is indeed new, and the facilities are great, but apart from that, there's zero service. When I asked how much extra to upgrade from a king-size bed to a twin-size, they immediately quoted me an additional 200, when my room only cost 300. Free breakfast was out of the question. The booking page mentioned free late-night porridge, but they didn't even ask me about it – seems like it was just written there for show, which is pretty frustrating. As I was checking out, they only offered me two bottles of water if I wrote a good review. Honestly, how cheeky of them! When I stayed at Orange Crystal or Ji Hotel before, they would always prepare a complimentary souvenir for us, even without asking. So, next time, I'll still choose Huazhu Group. Atour has caught up with its hardware, but the service hasn't followed suit. There's basically no service, and I'm quite dissatisfied!"

The in-room amenities are new, the bedding is very comfortable, and the bathroom features an excellent wet/dry separation, with stable water pressure and temperature. "The hotel I chose this time was really good, close to the Yalu River, and the traffic was very convenient.
The bed in the big bed room is really comfortable. It is soft and the package is particularly strong. For people like me who recognize the bed, it is a savior. I sleep until dawn and my waist is not sour. The room was very clean and there was no dust on the ground barefoot.
What makes me most satisfied is that the bath water is very large, the hot water comes quickly, and it is really cool to take a hot bath after a day of playing. The wifi speed is also fast, and the video is not stuck when lying down. Sleeping at night is quite quiet, and I can't hear the movement in the corridor and outside.
The young lady at the front desk also spoke softly and worked well. This price can live in this condition, it is really worth it, and I will definitely stay here next time I come to play!"

The robot delivery for our late-night takeout was super convenient. There's a piano in the lobby, and I never expected my child could practice piano even while traveling. It exceeded my expectations and was totally worth it!"

The hotel's overall design is incredibly tasteful, blending New Chinese style with modern simplicity. The public areas are spacious and bright, with art pieces and greenery perfectly placed to create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The front desk staff's smiles and efficient, professional service instantly put me at ease. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, freshly renovated with no strange odors, and the details were spot on. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Although it was a bleak winter scene outside the window, the room was warm and spring-like, with soft lighting and a well-thought-out layout, making for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay.
Then there's the tranquil beauty of the Yalu River in winter – I had a river view room, and the vista was excellent. Even though it was winter, with bare trees on both banks and a quiet, desolate landscape, it only highlighted the clear and deep beauty of the Yalu River. Under the winter sun, it shimmered with a cool, serene glow, creating a unique sense of calm and openness.
But what truly touched and delighted me was the thoughtful 'souvenir' the hotel prepared. SShibaobeilaoda.This hotel is perfect for friends visiting Dandong. It's right next to the Yalu River, and you can find it just behind the famous 'influencer wall,' so the location is fantastic. There are also plenty of dining options downstairs.
**Facilities**: All the facilities are quite new, and the room temperature was very comfortable. The only minor drawback was that the TV couldn't screen-mirror.
**Hygiene**: The room was incredibly clean and tidy. When we returned in the evening, the cleaning staff had already tidied up the room for us, thoughtfully provided extra amenities, and even folded our clothes on the sofa, haha, so cute!
**Environment**: The hotel environment is excellent. It's surrounded by scenic spots, and it's only a 7-8 yuan taxi ride to the shopping mall and old street, which is very convenient. The hotel's interior environment is comparable to a four-star hotel – very well-maintained, and the soundproofing is good too.
**Service**: The service was excellent. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) was very enthusiastic when we checked in and even helped us with a late checkout. The cleaning staff were also wonderful.
Overall, it was a very good stay. The hotel also offers breakfast, though we didn't get to try it. Highly recommend this hotel! 👍

XXiaocuiairuikeThe front desk lady is pretty and gentle, with a good service attitude. My child had diarrhea, and she gave me medicine for free, thank you very much. The room cleaning lady on the fifth floor of Area A was very good. The refrigerator was not hot, so she immediately brought a new good refrigerator, thank you 😊. The children were also provided with free slippers and toothbrushes. The hotel parking lot is huge, which gives self-driving tourists a super comfortable experience, without worrying about parking anxiety. The hotel is located by the Yalu River, and you can enjoy the river view for free without leaving the hotel, which is great. A very good trip to Andong.

Everyone at the hotel was kind. There was a staff member at the reception who could speak broken Japanese. They upgraded my room. There's a cafe in the lobby and a sauna in the hot springs. It's a little far from the station, but it's less than a 10 RMB taxi ride away.
The windows were a little dirty, but that's unavoidable since it's on a high floor and is a common occurrence overseas. So it's not a negative point.
The bathtub was broken, so the jacuzzi wasn't available. But I was happy just to be able to bathe in the tub.
This is a divine hotel.

PpangkaAlright location but not as close to the river as the name suggests. There's no river view. Taxis had difficulty coming into the hotel lobby. The hotel is a bit old but maintained okay. The fader on the reading light didn't work. They gave us only two pillows for a Queen bed. On the plus side they have put in those great japanese style toilets with heated seats. Nice touch.

The weather on May 1st is still strong. There are mountains and waters around. It is very pleasant. The boss said that the maple leaves in autumn are better-looking. You can consider coming again in October.
The cabin has a complete range of indoor appliances. Water heaters, smart toilets, geothermal air conditioning, hand-made coffee and tea in the stove are very pleasant. Of course, outdoor camping inevitably has some emergencies, such as small bugs, bad nets, or broken electric curtains 😂 Normal heart ～ Since you choose camping, you can feel another life!
The only uncomfortable thing is from breakfast. The breakfast is delivered by the eldest sister. It is very good. Each breakfast is heavy and full. But the two of us can't eat too much. We asked for a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns and some pickles. The eldest sister said that there are salted duck eggs. I said yes, the eldest sister asked a few and I said if I could come two. When the eldest sister was going to get it for me, a fat little brother next to her pulled his face and said no, he could give one. At that time, I was particularly defeated. Our accommodation, the electric curtains are broken, the net is broken, and there are small bugs. We all endured it because a salted duck egg depends on the face of people. Please standardize your breakfast, okay! If you can have one and a half salted duck eggs, please print them out and stick them in a clear position instead of asking us on the spot. Finally, say you can give one.

I arrived quite late in the evening and ate at the hotel. The portion was quite large. I was too hungry to take pictures. The wild vegetable buns, green beans, and almost every dish are delicious. Breakfast is just so-so, just one kind of porridge, which is enough to fill you up. Just remember the various pickles, which are not special enough. Accommodation: I stayed in a mountain view villa, with a large room on the second floor, a living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor, and three rooms on the basement level (not really underground, just opposite the front door). Each room can be directly connected to the outside. The scenery is very beautiful. beautiful. The room may have floor heating and the temperature is very comfortable. The disadvantage is that the bed is a spring bed. It seems that the springs can be touched, which is not very comfortable. The pillows are also average. If these two are improved, there will be no shortcomings for me and I can stay for a few more days. Oh, and there’s ex’s trash left unpacked in the living room drawer.
