"How should I even start, the whole stay was just amazing although it was only for a night. I booked 3 rooms in total for my family and the host and all the staff were so nice, they picked us up, gave us fruits and drinks, treated us like a close friend and family. My dad wasn't feeling well and they kept caring about us which was amazing. They have their own food too so we ate there but it's amazing tooo!!! Oh yes, the room is clean, it's as what you see online and it's really worthy the money if you're going to XueXiang snow village. Book this hotel!"

"Traveling during the summer vacation, I'm finally getting around to writing this review now, during the National Day holiday, and for that I apologize. I was traveling with my mother, and we were incredibly fortunate to have booked a stay at Jiuyue Homestay. The owners, a husband and wife, gave us such a warm welcome and took such good care of us that five stars just don't feel like enough – it deserves a perfect ten! The cleanliness, environment, and facilities were, of course, excellent, but the service was truly exceptional. The owner not only proactively picked us up from the train station and enthusiastically introduced us to the travel routes and attractions of Hengdaohezi, but after we finished our visit to the Siberian Tiger Park, he thoughtfully brought our luggage to meet us there and then dropped us off at the high-speed rail station, saving my elderly mother from unnecessary back-and-forth travel. Moreover, when an unexpected situation arose during our stay, the staff actively helped us resolve it. Through our conversations with the owner, we sensed that he is a person with big dreams, genuinely wanting to make his homestay succeed and grow. I highly recommend everyone choose Jiuyue; you are guaranteed to have the best experience."

"This is probably the best value-for-money hotel in Xuexiang. The rooms are fully smart, with two floor-to-ceiling windows! Very clean. The hotel offers luggage pickup and drop-off, a water-to-ice splashing experience, and even provides local cotton-padded jackets in the rooms. Plastic sleds for kids to play with are also free. The toiletries in the room are complete, and the service is very attentive. I'd definitely stay here again next time. The only minor issue is that the WiFi is a bit slow."

I could sleep in an extra ten minutes in the morning ⏰, stroll over to the slopes, and still not be late. Ski fanatics, rejoice! 🥳 The Xichaxuan King Room I stayed in was absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, and the super soft bed made me never want to get up 🛌. The heating was incredibly powerful, completely saying goodbye to the damp cold of the south 👋! Disposable towels, toilet seat covers, and complimentary mineral water 🫙 – they thought of every single detail. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's free activities! Playing 'splash water into ice' in sub-zero temperatures 💦, the moment the ice crystals flew everywhere was breathtakingly beautiful, simply magical ✨. They also had free sledges available, perfect for both seniors and kids. The crunching sound as it glided over the snow was pure winter happiness 🎿! "The room was exactly as pictured, and you could see the snow right outside the window. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and take photos from there, and the kids had a blast playing in the snow behind us. Right outside the door was a viewing platform where you could see the whole town, complete with a swing. For lunch, we ate at the host's place. You could order from a menu, and we had dumplings and stewed green beans, which were absolutely delicious and so affordable. When we were leaving, we almost missed our high-speed train, but the host was kind enough to drive us to the station. We're really grateful! I'm definitely coming back here to stay for ten days to two weeks once I retire."

The room was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. What really stood out was the smart home system, controlled by AI – super convenient with voice commands. Even the hairdryer was amazing; it had great power and left my hair smooth, much better than those at many hotels! The space was roomy and comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets, so no fighting for charging spots. The separate toilet, shower, and sink area was a game-changer – no morning rush when getting ready. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

In addition, I asked the front desk for two bottles of drinking water, which cost 2 yuan per bottle. They said that each room only has 2 bottles, and you have to pay for additional water. This is the first hotel in China that I have ever stayed in. Apart from Turkey, which is short of water, maybe Hailin is also short of water. The corridor is deep and long, arranged in the innermost room. I won't stay here again next time."

The owner was super thoughtful; they communicated with us in advance about our pickup time and were waiting for us at the station, immediately helping with our luggage – it instantly warmed us up in the winter chill. The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the snow view outside the window was incredibly calming. The biggest surprise was the extra activities: they provided free snow tubes, so we could enjoy the thrill of sliding in the snow right in the yard – both adults and kids had a blast. In the evening, the owner organized a bonfire party; everyone gathered around the fire, chatting and laughing, creating a lively and wonderful atmosphere. The owner also enthusiastically shared local travel tips and food recommendations, being completely genuine and transparent throughout. Whether it was the service, environment, or activities, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hengdaohezi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a snow trip!

KKumajiangI really like this B&B, it's in a quiet place by the river. Although it is a little far away from the main attractions at the train station and takes more than 10 minutes to walk, I like the walk along the river very much. They even converted the smaller room into a shower and toilet, which was great. They also provided disposable towels, bath towels, slippers, and a toilet seat cover – such thoughtful details! It was very quiet, not on the main street, but only a seven or eight-minute walk to the shopping street, very convenient. The town isn't big, so there's plenty of room to explore. It's run by a husband and wife team; they were very welcoming and kind – truly wonderful! 👍 We'd definitely stay here again next time we come.

The most surprising thing is that there is also a very comfortable lounge chair in the room, sitting there drinking tea and watching the scenery is not too comfortable. Finally, you must praise the boss family! I patiently answered from the beginning of the reservation. Location: Carl is in a great location, the train station and the church are within a five-minute walk, and the main attractions in the town are all within walking distance. Many people checked in at the cabin where we stayed. Dining: When we arrived at Carl Restaurant, we recommend ordering iron pot lake fish (the fish was bought by the boss at the market on the spot), pot-wrapped pork, and chicken stewed with mushrooms. It's like living in an old friend's home here. There is a hot breakfast when you get up, and you can tell the boss lady in advance to prepare meals before going out. At night, we play bonfires, watch fireworks, sing K, and there is a small slide in the yard. The boss lady is a gentle beauty, and everyone in Carl makes us feel the enthusiasm and warmth of the Northeast. The feelings of children are the purest. I kept crying at the train station and said I wanted to go back to the boss lady's house. I was reluctant to leave.
