"How should I even start, the whole stay was just amazing although it was only for a night. I booked 3 rooms in total for my family and the host and all the staff were so nice, they picked us up, gave us fruits and drinks, treated us like a close friend and family. My dad wasn't feeling well and they kept caring about us which was amazing. They have their own food too so we ate there but it's amazing tooo!!! Oh yes, the room is clean, it's as what you see online and it's really worthy the money if you're going to XueXiang snow village. Book this hotel!"

"This is probably the best value-for-money hotel in Xuexiang. The rooms are fully smart, with two floor-to-ceiling windows! Very clean. The hotel offers luggage pickup and drop-off, a water-to-ice splashing experience, and even provides local cotton-padded jackets in the rooms. Plastic sleds for kids to play with are also free. The toiletries in the room are complete, and the service is very attentive. I'd definitely stay here again next time. The only minor issue is that the WiFi is a bit slow."

"The room was exactly as pictured, and you could see the snow right outside the window. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and take photos from there, and the kids had a blast playing in the snow behind us. Right outside the door was a viewing platform where you could see the whole town, complete with a swing. For lunch, we ate at the host's place. You could order from a menu, and we had dumplings and stewed green beans, which were absolutely delicious and so affordable. When we were leaving, we almost missed our high-speed train, but the host was kind enough to drive us to the station. We're really grateful! I'm definitely coming back here to stay for ten days to two weeks once I retire."

"The stay experience was absolutely top-notch. Food, drinks, and entertainment were all fantastic. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the room experience was incredibly comfortable, and all the hotel amenities were fully stocked and even better than what you'd find in a five-star hotel. Toiletries and bedding were all disposable and exceptionally clean. They even provided sleep aids like earplugs and black tea. In the evening, there were patrol performances which were incredibly fun and exciting! Definitely a big thumbs up. We went up the mountain twice and experienced all sorts of snow activities, especially the Snow Dragon and snowmobiles, which were absolutely thrilling! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel next time!"

"Traveling during the summer vacation, I'm finally getting around to writing this review now, during the National Day holiday, and for that I apologize. I was traveling with my mother, and we were incredibly fortunate to have booked a stay at Jiuyue Homestay. The owners, a husband and wife, gave us such a warm welcome and took such good care of us that five stars just don't feel like enough – it deserves a perfect ten! The cleanliness, environment, and facilities were, of course, excellent, but the service was truly exceptional. The owner not only proactively picked us up from the train station and enthusiastically introduced us to the travel routes and attractions of Hengdaohezi, but after we finished our visit to the Siberian Tiger Park, he thoughtfully brought our luggage to meet us there and then dropped us off at the high-speed rail station, saving my elderly mother from unnecessary back-and-forth travel. Moreover, when an unexpected situation arose during our stay, the staff actively helped us resolve it. Through our conversations with the owner, we sensed that he is a person with big dreams, genuinely wanting to make his homestay succeed and grow. I highly recommend everyone choose Jiuyue; you are guaranteed to have the best experience."

"The boss was very good to upgrade the suite, set the evening Russian meal, the details of the environment layout are full of Russian style.
The suite has no TV, an electric stove with feet, sitting on an old-fashioned granny chair, reading while licking local peanuts and melon seeds.
If you have time, stay for at least three or five days. The Hengdaohezi of Mudanjiang City is included in one of my world-avoiding towns."

"What a pleasant surprise! This guesthouse experience was fantastic. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. The room was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. What really stood out was the smart home system, controlled by AI – super convenient with voice commands. Even the hairdryer was amazing; it had great power and left my hair smooth, much better than those at many hotels! The space was roomy and comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets, so no fighting for charging spots. The separate toilet, shower, and sink area was a game-changer – no morning rush when getting ready. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

"I came to Hengdaohezi for a long time. I also chose Xinya Hotel for a long time in terms of accommodation. I saw on Xiaohongshu that the hygiene was great, and the boss’s service attitude was very good. The most consequential thing was that I didn’t step on thunder. We are not familiar with the route boss and carefully divided the route for us, where we need to pay attention. The next day we also played splashing water into ice, the boss also told us the best location haha, in short, a very pleasant stay experience, there is nothing wrong with choosing Xinya Hotel, recommended!"

"I would like to give special mention to Amway. This B&B is one of the best in the entire Hengdaohezi. You can feel the dedication in building B&Bs from many details. This time our two children took their children to watch the snow, which completely exceeded our expectations. The children can enjoy it in the garden. After a whole day of playing, every detail in the park was carefully designed. Even the huge polar bear had entered the park on the day we left. The facilities in the room were simple but clean. The temperature and humidity were more comfortable than any star-rated hotel I had booked in Harbin. The cloth was Although the grass is not very high-end, fortunately, it is all concentrated in the city and can be changed and washed. This is very important! The food may have just started operating. It tastes good but the style needs to be updated. I look forward to booking a few more nights next year to experience the beauty of China’s snow!"

Check-in experience full score 💯! The environment of the homestay is quiet, the rooms are warmly furnished, the facilities are complete and well maintained, and the sanitary corners are cleaned up. The staff is very good, responsive and very intimate, it is convenient to eat and go shopping around, the whole stay is super comfortable, highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, right on the road next to the Daishibei (Grand Stele). It seems to have just opened this year (2025), and the room decor is really nice. We had a corner room with two windows, so it was very bright, and it even had a tatami area. However, the bedsheets weren't particularly clean, with small black dust specks. The service also loses points; when we were leaving, we asked for a bottle of water, and the front desk just replied with two words: 'None.' For a 1200 RMB room, is it too much to ask for an extra bottle of water?

Choosing the right guesthouse in Hengdaohezi is absolutely key for a great trip, and this one made our vacation incredibly happy! The owner was super thoughtful; they communicated with us in advance about our pickup time and were waiting for us at the station, immediately helping with our luggage – it instantly warmed us up in the winter chill.
The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the snow view outside the window was incredibly calming. The biggest surprise was the extra activities: they provided free snow tubes, so we could enjoy the thrill of sliding in the snow right in the yard – both adults and kids had a blast. In the evening, the owner organized a bonfire party; everyone gathered around the fire, chatting and laughing, creating a lively and wonderful atmosphere.
The owner also enthusiastically shared local travel tips and food recommendations, being completely genuine and transparent throughout. Whether it was the service, environment, or activities, everything was impeccable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hengdaohezi, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a snow trip!

The hotel is brand new, and the rooms are very clean and unique. You can enjoy the outdoor scenery right from your bed. They offered complimentary frozen pears and persimmons upon check-in, and a free breakfast. The ground floor houses a cafe where you can order coffee and milk tea. The hotel also provides butler service. When entering Snow Village, a butler will pick you up and guide you, and they'll inform you of activity times in advance. Our butler, Xiao Wu, accompanied us throughout our stay, taking us to the best spots for photos in Snow Village, helping us take pictures, even refilling our hot water. They guided us in playing 'water splashing into ice,' letting us do it as many times as we wanted until we were thoroughly entertained. When we left, they dropped us off at the bus station and helped with our luggage the whole way. The service was excellent. Five-star rating for Butler Xiao Wu!

We chose this guesthouse based on the room type, and it was a pleasant surprise – my mom loved it!
The room was a standard two-bedroom apartment, perfect for a family trip. They even converted the smaller room into a shower and toilet, which was great. They also provided disposable towels, bath towels, slippers, and a toilet seat cover – such thoughtful details!
It was very quiet, not on the main street, but only a seven or eight-minute walk to the shopping street, very convenient. The town isn't big, so there's plenty of room to explore.
It's run by a husband and wife team; they were very welcoming and kind – truly wonderful! 👍 We'd definitely stay here again next time we come.

I had the most pleasant stay at the hotel! Ever since my booking they contacted me to stay in touch and asked if i needed any help prior my trip. Every booking was assigned a butler, and our Butler Cao made the trip cery smooth and comfortable! Just inform any inquiries or wish list that you have and he will deliver! He even picked us from the station and our luggage, brought us to the famous spots, shortcuts and accompanied us around the town. I even asked questions after my stay and they still gladly reply which i will be forever thankful.
The room is exactly how it looks like in the pictures cery clean and comfortable. We have informed beforehand regarding our dietary restrictions and they understood and prepared breakfast which were muslim friendly.
The hotel’s location is perfect as its very near the centre but not too close so it was comfortable and it was not so noisy at night.
Overally we had a very pleasant stay and recommend this hotel for anyone interested! Definitely regret staying for only 1 night and wished we could stay longer

The waiter has a good attitude. Stepping into this hotel is like stepping into a paradise in the world. The interior decoration is exquisite, and it seems to have the ingenuity of ”carving out the Qionglou with meticulous care”; the utensils are arranged regularly, showing the meticulousness of ”the windows are bright and clean without any dust”. The owner is warm and hospitable, and answers every inquiry in detail, as if meeting old friends again, very cordial. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the glow through the gauze, and when you return home in the evening, you can hear the breeze blowing through the curtains. Accommodation here is not only a place to rest, but also a place for the soul, where you can forget your worries and enjoy peace. It is really the best choice.

Service: The boss is very polite. He came to pick him up in Xuexiang. When he left, he was sent to the place where he took the bus at the door. He cooked hot water in the morning.

Guest UserThe location of the B&B is very convenient. We drove over and parked in their small yard (it's such a small backyard, and the road inside the scenic spot is very narrow, so we parked the car smoothly because there were few people there that day).
Problems encountered:
If it rains, the floor of the room will be wet as soon as you enter;
The bath water cannot be drained at night! The sink has shampoo, conditioner and hand soap, but no shower gel😩
(Honestly, I didn’t want to take a shower in the cold weather. I didn’t tell the landlord until the next day, and she quickly found the cause of the problem and solved it.) So when you encounter problems, raise them proactively!
There is not enough room to put things in the room, so all the odds and ends have to be stored on the small table. It is recommended to add a bench or something.

The quilt is quite comfortable when sleeping at night.
The next day I heard that the 24-hour hot water supply is the selling point here in Hengdaohezi? I don’t know if that’s true 😝
