As Heihe's morning market is quite famous, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. However, the cleanliness was not up to par; there were small flying insects in the room, likely coming up from the drain. The service also left much to be desired. Not only did they fail to accommodate our request for a room away from the elevator, but they assigned us a room right by the elevator entrance, citing room type as the reason. Later, we discovered that rooms of our booked type were indeed available further from the elevator. Furthermore, to borrow an umbrella, we had to pay a 50 deposit per umbrella. While it was refunded immediately upon return, it still left a slightly unpleasant feeling for a hotel guest."
