"This guesthouse is stunning and amazing at the same time. I work in the tourism field and I have never seen such an amazing and accurated caring for guests. The host and his wife are the nicest persons ever met in my life. Knowledgable in everything, excellent professional hosts who know how to make your trip an amazing and successful trip. Rooms are clean, spacious, with all the amenities a guest needs with a really good sense for the design. At the ground floor they have such a nice space for all guests where people can relax themselves by reading, drinking a good cup of local tea or coffe and simply facing the mesmerising view of the Dong Village and experiencing an indoor campfire. We had a wonderful night around the fire with some new Chinese friends and the host too. We sang all together and there was no language barrier which could stop us. We had such a wonderful moment. One of the best in my life. Breakfast is speechless. Something extremely good with lots of varieties of food. They know how to accomodate every single request. This place is a AAAAA place. Thanks for all the beautiful memories you gave us."

"The room facilities were quite satisfactory; everything I needed was there. I especially want to mention that the room was equipped with a safety rope, which I've never seen in any other hotel across the country. It definitely gave me a sense of security."

"Facilities: Excellent. The room was incredibly spacious, and the bed linen was fantastic. Environment: The hotel provides shuttle service, and the surroundings are lovely. High-speed rail station transfer service: Timely and efficient. Shuttle service between the hotel and ZhaoXing Dong Village scenic area: Operates on a fixed schedule. Service: Superb! For those who prefer not to stay in guesthouses within the village, this is absolutely the best option."

"Facilities: The facilities are new and complete, as it's a newly opened establishment. The interior decoration is excellent, very clean, and beautiful. The bed is super comfortable; it's not overly soft like some hotel beds, but a very pleasant mattress. There's also a smart toilet, TV, hairdryer, etc., making it very convenient. Cleanliness: It's very clean. The ground floor has a spacious and bright lobby with modern decor. The rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of the rice paddies. Both the room and bathroom are spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which made our stay feel very secure. Environment: Located in Shangzhai, the environment is very peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the village center. We slept wonderfully at night. Plus, the room windows are soundproof; once closed, you can't even hear the rain outside, which is truly commendable 👍. I think staying here is better than other B&Bs in different locations, and it's also closer to the Tang'an Terraces. Excellent. Service: Compared to the facilities, cleanliness, and environment, the service is the most praiseworthy! They provided timely pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station, helped with our luggage, and offered complimentary coffee and water. Any issues were promptly resolved by the front desk staff. The owner was also very accommodating. When leaving, knowing we hadn't visited the viewpoint, he even offered us a ride up to take photos. Overall, my family and I were very satisfied with this B&B booking! If we have a chance to visit again in the future, we will definitely book here again! Highly recommended!"

"The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!"

"The guesthouse was clean and had a great village atmosphere. The rooms not only had bathtubs but also balconies with panoramic views of the entire village – I personally thought it was much better than the viewing platform. The guesthouse staff were also very helpful, assisting us with our luggage and providing travel tips. 👍👍"

"I loved this place so much that I stayed 5 nights. Yang the owner speaks perfect English. I rang the day before and he was waiting at the train station with my name on a sign. He helped me organise the entrance fee. Mine was free as I'm 73 years old, even though I am a foreigner. I am travelling on my own from New Zealand. The train station pick up was free and very useful. If you take the bus it's a long way from the ticket office and bus stop into the village. Yang then transferred me into his smaller vehicle to go up the little lane to the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into the village and has a great view of the village.. It is quiet as it's a little bit away from the busy centre. The room was perfect. Everything new and very clean. And no smells. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. I used the washing machine in the room to wash my clothes. There was tea and coffee provided. Yang took me on a full day trip to see some other local villages that have no tourists. We walked around the villages together. It was fantastic to have an English guide to explain everything. We saw people making rice wine, making indigo dye, building a house using traditional techniques. We saw a fighting buffalo. Yang chatted to the people and explained what they were doing. This was the best time I have had in China. He was a good careful driver. The breakfast was huge! So many dishes, including fruit. Yang was always available to help me with any questions and we had good talks every morning when he helped me plan my activities."

"A little unsatisfactory point: 1. I rushed to the big bathtub, but the bathtub was too yellow and dirty, and I couldn't use it at all. 2. The towel is too old. 3. The cigarette butts and toothpaste of the last guest are still there. 4. The TV screen is too small to seriously line such a big room. 5. The sound insulation effect of window glass is average, and the sound of fireworks and firecrackers is heard. 6. The bathroom drainage is not good. After one night, the ground water is not moving. In addition to the above other aspects are very good."

"Located near the entrance, a quieter part of the village. The young lady and guy mending the guesthouse are very helpful. One of us had some insect bites and the lady not only proactively brought her to the nearby clinic but also paid for the bill. Room is nice and very clean with all the necessary amenities. We’re being provided with a big platter of fruits everyday. Highly recommend"
