"Hotel room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. I only stayed a night as was flying early from Ningbo after a meeting. Perfect place for an overnight before/after a flight due to location.
I used the airport shuttle service, it was acceptable, but be careful that you can have it available for your flight. For me it was just okay, but they seemed a bit unwilling to take me any earlier than 06:10 because that’s when the majority of passengers where wanting a lift. That said it all went well, I made my flight and the team were very polite at every interaction. Hotel is very nice and close meaning the actual drive took ＜15m at that time of day and I was dropped directly to the terminal."

"A huge shout-out to Daisy! She proactively confirmed my itinerary and arrival time, and even thoughtfully upgraded my room. Her service was incredibly attentive and warm! The front desk and housekeeping staff were also super friendly and welcoming, always quick to respond and incredibly attentive. Thoughtful recommendations for local attractions are available right in the lobby, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The location is fantastic, close to Tianyi Square, Chenghuang Temple, and the Catholic Church, making it perfect for exploring, shopping, and dining. The only minor issue was that the TV kept losing signal. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The location is good, making it easy to get anywhere by taxi; it's about a 15-minute taxi ride from the train station. The room facilities are a bit old but still functional. The TV is a projector, and you need your own streaming subscriptions to use it. Soundproofing is a bit poor.
The service attitude is excellent. They have a butler service, which was a pleasant surprise. They even provide makeup remover, facial cleanser, and laundry detergent. Upon arrival, we received fruit and a late-night snack. Foot baths are also offered. Breakfast is predominantly Chinese. Free tea is available in the lobby."

"Highly recommend! The location is absolutely fantastic. It's right behind Tianyi Square, which is packed with amazing food options – incredibly convenient. It's also close to Gulou Subway Station. Yuehu Park, Chenghuang Temple, and Gulou are all nearby too. The value for money is outstanding. I originally considered a high-end hotel, but chose Huayingyue because of its location. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation."

"The hotel is conveniently located right by Tianyi Pavilion and Moon Lake, making it easy to get to all the attractions, whether by taxi or on foot. In the morning, you can take a leisurely stroll around Moon Lake. There's a shopping complex nearby with small restaurants, so dining is very convenient, and food delivery is quick. The parking lot is quite large and free of charge.
The room was clean and new, with complete facilities. During the National Day holiday, we were given a complimentary upgrade to a city view room and thoughtfully placed on the moat side to avoid the noise from the Tianyi Pavilion renovation. We could see the moat right from our window. We received welcome fruits, and in the evening, the butler prepared pumpkin porridge and hot milk for guests. They also provided bath bubbles for the bathtub, and our child absolutely loved the full tub of bubbles 🛁 – excellent emotional value, really appreciate it! You can see the details on the business card in the picture.
During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel lobby organized parent-child activities, which the kids enjoyed. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with delicious wontons and noodles, and some Ningbo local snacks. Even though it was crowded during the holiday, the restaurant didn't feel cramped, allowing us to start each day energized. Plus, the chrysanthemum tea bags at the front desk were really tasty, highly recommended! 👍"

"A perfect stay! Even though the hotel has been open for a few years, the facilities are still well-maintained. The heated bidet on the semi-smart toilet was a pleasant surprise, and the electric curtains made settling in even easier. There's a gym on the third floor; while not huge, it has all the essential equipment. Oh, and they offer laundry service, with staff even taking your clothes to be washed – super convenient for business travelers! The hotel is located in the heart of Ningbo, making getting around incredibly easy.
Finally, a shout-out to the front desk staff! They were friendly and polite throughout, providing incredibly attentive service. They escorted me to my room, explained everything, and even reminded me to close the window before bed. Such thoughtful service makes this hotel highly recommended!"

GGuest UserLocated in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location.
The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable.
The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate.
It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

Yyaya0103_2001Before my trip, I was a bit worried about this hotel because there weren't many reviews on Dianping, so I wasn't sure about the facilities. First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's only about 100-200 meters from the subway station, and right next to Chenghuangmiao Pedestrian Street, which is super lively with plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment.
Secondly, the hotel rooms. We got upgraded to a suite that had a small living area with a sofa, coffee table, and TV, perfect for relaxing and watching shows. It also had both a bathtub and a shower stall. The only downside is that this suite faced the road, and according to the older folks in my family, it could get a bit noisy. We stayed in a standard king room, which I noticed in a few reviews mentioned a specific tap. Our room actually faced the pedestrian street, but it wasn't noisy after 10 PM, so the soundproofing was good. The room wasn't huge, but perfectly fine for a short stay. The TV and shower were both new, and I was happy with the facilities.
Next, I was a bit concerned about breakfast, but it turned out great. While it's not as luxurious as a five-star hotel, the spread was quite diverse, and more importantly, everything tasted good. I especially loved the freshly made rice cakes with seafood noodles and the side dishes that came with the porridge. The spicy soup, candied hawthorn, and Osmanthus cakes were also a hit with my family.
Finally, the service. I found the staff to be young, clean, and very enthusiastic. We received a welcome gift upon arrival, and they even bought a cake for my birthday, which was a lovely surprise. The front desk also offered orange juice and small snacks in the afternoon. All in all, this hotel is very thoughtful, and I was thoroughly satisfied.

GGuest UserI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants.
Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services:
1. Cady of the reception
Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure.
2. Cora (陈丽)
Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior.
3. Cavan
Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP.
The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

Once in my room, I called to inquire about laundry or drying services, as I had a photoshoot scheduled for the next day and it was already quite late. They informed me the laundry service was closed for the night but kindly offered to send up a drying rack. The staff member who delivered it also patiently showed me how to use it. Their service was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

I have to give a special shout-out to Rose at the front desk – she was incredibly thoughtful! She proactively added me on WeChat a day in advance, sending me a super detailed hotel map and clearly outlining all the recent activities. Our communication was so friendly; even before arriving, it felt like a friend was helping me plan my trip. My impression of the hotel was already sky-high!
After checking in, there were even more pleasant surprises. The room was incredibly spacious, with a very sensible layout. The bedding was so soft; I instantly felt relaxed lying on it. All the details were spotless, making for a truly comfortable stay. The hotel's scenery is truly breathtaking. Whether I was enjoying the view from the bay window in my room or strolling through the gardens, the gentle charm of a Jiangnan water town just enveloped me.
The restaurant's dishes were also fantastic, very authentic, and absolutely no disappointments. Moreover, the service throughout the entire hotel was top-notch; every staff member was enthusiastic. I'm truly delighted with this stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Ningbo!

Stylish Ambiance: The hotel, though showing its age, exudes a certain elegance that sets it apart. The vintage touches combined with modern aesthetics create a captivating atmosphere.
Prime Location: CITIC Ningbo enjoys an enviable location, offering easy access to the heart of the city. From my room, I had a delightful view of the surroundings, which added to the overall experience.
Breakfast Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive, with an array of options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a hearty meal or something light, the hotel caters to all preferences.
Fully Stocked Mini Bar: The mini bar was a pleasant surprise. It was well-stocked, allowing guests to indulge in their favorite beverages and snacks.
However, there were a couple of areas where the hotel fell short:
Toiletry Oversight: Unfortunately, the housekeeping team overlooked the essential toiletries. I missed having a dental kit, comb, body cream, and shower gel. Even the shampoo was absent from the toiletries collection.
Tiny Bottles: In the cabinet, I found only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo. While they were functional, I expected more comprehensive amenities.
