"This is actually the Dong Village Hotel recommended in Lonely Planet, but the owner changed the name. It’s an atmospheric old wooden building with stunning views. The English speaking owner was very helpful in arranging a car to pick us up from Sanjiang station and then drove us (for a reasonable fee) to Fenghuang. Otherwise hard to make connections from Chengyang."

Overall, it's suitable for people who have already visited Liuzhou and Guilin and want to relax."

"I booked the B&B after reading reviews saying the owner was very nice and the photos looked clean and hygienic. I also bought a worry-free cancellation package in case it was not the case when I arrived. When I contacted the proprietress one day in advance, she was very friendly and enthusiastic. It happened that two other guests also needed to take a taxi to the inn, so we shared a car from the train station to the B&B. The proprietress also offered discounts on scenic spot tickets and Hundred Family Banquet tickets. After checking in, she gave me some tips on sightseeing. The location is not far from various attractions. The guest rooms and bathrooms are also very clean, the water is hot and comfortable, and I had a great time. Because it is a wooden house, the sound insulation is not that good, but it was quite quiet that night. In addition to the ordinary lock, the room door also has a horizontal lock, which feels safer. The hotel is at the entrance of the scenic area. The hotel staff has a very good service attitude. When we arrived very late, the staff also came to the parking lot to pick us up! "Having stayed in Guangzhou for so long, I longed to escape every day, and finally, my spontaneous trip began! Staying in the village was so pleasant. The guesthouse was run by the owner himself, and it was incredibly clean and tidy. The room was also in a very comfortable location, with a view right from the window. The landlady was super friendly and welcoming! It's so nice to have your own place to maintain; unlike many other places I've been to, which are often run by outsiders. I came to this ethnic minority area because I wanted to truly experience their local culture. I feel it was totally worth it!"

"The B&B is located right inside the scenic area. If you're driving, you can park in the underground parking lot of the scenic area (20 yuan for overnight parking). You'll need to purchase an admission ticket (40 yuan for a half-price ticket; free for those 65 and over), then take the scenic area shuttle bus to Qiaotou, where the owner will come to pick you up.
The room was convenient, clean, and hygienic. It was a bit chilly outside, but the air conditioning in the room was already on, making it nice and warm! The owner was incredibly welcoming.
One minor inconvenience is that if you have large luggage, you'll need to carry your suitcase and walk a bit, including some stairs.
Overall, the scenic area itself is quite unique and definitely worth a visit!"

When I got up early, I saw a group of egrets flying freely on the water. The proprietress was very nice. She saw me traveling alone. After dinner, she took the initiative to drive me to see the night view of Yiyang Fengyu Bridge. I live in a big bed room with a balcony on the second floor. The price is particularly high. The room is spacious and bright, the furnishings are warm, and there is a feeling of returning home. It is very suitable for vacations and friends gathering... The flowers and plants planted in the yard should be grown up, it will be more beautiful and warm!

GGuest UserYou can't drive in, you have to park at the entrance of the scenic area and then buy a ticket to enter. You can ask the boss lady to help you buy it in advance. It is cheaper than the scenic area or the platform. I stayed in 401. The room environment is average. It is opposite the elevator entrance, so it is a bit noisy, but you can still fall asleep if you are tired. There is a rooftop to dry clothes. The boss lady has a good attitude and a good temper. You can ask her if you don't understand.

LLaoOxiaoThe owner gave very clear instructions. If you call ahead and have a local tout take you into the scenic area, the experience would be much better. It feels like the scenic area charges fees just for the sake of it. The entrance and exit are quite far from the actual sights, and you're forced to take their electric shuttle, which leaves a bad impression.
The hotel's location is excellent, and it offers great value for money. If you've never stayed in a wooden original-style room, you can give it a try. However, if you prefer cleanliness and quiet, you might want to look elsewhere.
We missed the Hundred Family Banquet for dinner, so we found the busiest restaurant. We waited for a long time, but the food was pretty good.
It was a bit disappointing that it was pitch dark at night. As I said before, it's fine if you're passing by and want to pop in, but if you're making a special trip, you might want to reconsider!

I found that there are actually many places worth visiting in this inconspicuous Yi Autonomous County in Guangxi. The Lavande Hotel that chose to stay also brought us a lot of surprises. The spacious and bright rooms, the facilities are well-equipped, and the bathroom area is not large, but the layout is reasonable and does not affect the use at all. The front desk also provides a lot of meticulous and user-friendly services, such as free cleaning glasses, free tea, etc. The hotel parking lot is in front of the lobby, which is very convenient. Helpless, I can't reserve enough time, I will come here if I have the opportunity, and I will choose ”Lavande”!

FFanhongThis time I came to Sanjiang and stayed at Guangyuezun Hotel, which was unexpectedly good! The transportation is convenient. You can take the bus directly from the high-speed rail station. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Doye Square, the Bird's Nest and Sanjiang Wind and Rain Bridge in the county center. The interior environment of the hotel is also very elegant, reflecting the Dong style everywhere, giving people a different kind of warmth. The room is big, soundproofed, and cleaned promptly. I stayed there for two nights and still felt like I hadn't stayed long enough. Whether it is the front desk or the staff, they have a good attitude and treat guests like family, which left a deep impression on our group of four! Next time I have the chance to come to Sanjiang again, Guangyuezun will be my first choice!

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money! The prices are affordable, but there's no compromise on quality. The rooms are well-equipped, and the front desk staff, especially the young lady, provided excellent service. There's a convenience store and restaurants right downstairs, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. It's very quiet at night, which led to a fantastic night's sleep. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip!
