"I recently stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied with my experience. I wrote this review to share it with you.
First of all, the hotel's front desk staff welcomed me very warmly. The three of us stayed in two rooms, and specially arranged two rooms next door for us, and arranged them in a quieter location according to our requirements. In the hotel's elevator, you have to swipe your card to reach the corresponding floor. This design greatly improves the safety of your stay and is worth promoting.
The hotel is located in the New District of Shangluo City. You can overlook the night view of Danjiang from the room. The hotel is less than 20 minutes' walk from the Shangzhou Night Market. We drove off the highway and could reach the hotel in less than 5 minutes. The location is very advantageous. Because we had a meeting in the morning, we asked the front desk to provide a wake-up call service. The front desk woke us up on time the next morning. The hotel's restaurant is also a highlight. The traditional Chinese breakfast and pastries, as well as coffee, milk, and soy milk are all very good. Fresh and delicious, just like a home restaurant yyds. After the meeting, I returned to the hotel and used the hotel's laundry room. The washing and drying machine and ironing machine were very convenient and easy to use. There was also a TV in the laundry room, and I watched a hearty football match with my colleagues.

"The room was quite spacious, bright, clean, and free of any odors. The furnishings were distinctive. The hotel front desk upgraded my room, offering an expansive view, even allowing me to see the Danjiang River. The staff were also warm and polite. The parking lot was sufficiently large. However, there were some drawbacks: the night light in the room was broken. Even after turning off the main switch for the entire room, the night light remained brightly lit, and its design was particularly odd, causing even the wardrobe to glow. This was a nightmare for someone accustomed to sleeping in complete darkness, leading to a restless night. Additionally, the showerhead in the bathroom didn't provide enough water pressure, making for an uncomfortable shower experience."

"The room was a normal size, a light luxury option at 30+ square meters, but it didn't feel spacious. It had a smart toilet. The front desk offered a free upgrade, but the fourth floor was fully booked. Overall, the stay was not a good experience.
The pool had children's swimming lessons on weekends, so it was crowded in the afternoon. There were no lockers, towels, or toiletries. Considering it was a vacation, it was fine; it wasn't exactly a resort hotel.
The most unbearable thing was the lack of hot water for showering in the evening. While the tub was running hot, the showerhead wasn't. Once the tub was half full, the showerhead ran out of hot water. Fortunately, I didn't apply shampoo to my hair.
The next morning, I asked the front desk to change the towels. Normally, both the bath towels and the bath towels would be changed. Upon returning to the room, they only changed the bath towels. The other damp bath towels were left untouched.
The breakfast at a four-star hotel was inferior to that of a similarly priced budget chain hotel. For a 400 yuan per night hotel in Shangluo, there were no snacks, only a small amount of fruit, and no milk or bread. I was satisfied with the fried rice. There was a special hot and sour noodle dish, but it was average."

It's very quiet at night, and the hotel offers laundry and drying services, which is very convenient. There's also the Chuangwangzhai Scenic Area nearby, with incredibly beautiful scenery, especially the stunning autumn foliage. Anonymous UserThe hotel reception is on the 4th floor, and guest rooms are on floors 5-10. There are practically no parking spaces in front of the hotel (only a handful), and getting in and out is inconvenient. Before booking, I contacted the hotel to ask about parking availability, and they replied that it wasn't a problem. However, upon arrival, I discovered how scarce parking was. I contacted the hotel again, and they told me about the underground parking lot 300 meters away, but I could only park in the hotel's designated parking spaces. The hotel security guard said there should be four spaces left, and after searching for a while, I finally found the last one – very lucky, but the space was quite narrow. Most guests were driving and were concerned about parking; the front desk seemed to be constantly dealing with related issues. The hotel rooms are small and cramped. The facilities are rather outdated; the hand soap dispenser was non-dispensable, and only disposable towels and bath towels were provided. There is no telephone; you need to add the front desk on WeChat for any issues. They said the hotel only has one floor attendant, so service is relatively slow. There's a bottle of mineral water in the room for a fee, requiring a 100 yuan deposit, even though I had already paid for the room. However, the service attitude was quite good.

Environment: The hotel's setting is truly remarkable. Nestled against a hillside, it's located within a tourist resort area. Midway up the mountain, there's a winery and a library to explore. Opening the balcony door in the morning, listening to the birds singing and breathing in the fresh air was truly relaxing. I took my children for a stroll around the hotel both morning and evening, which was truly enjoyable.
Service: Both the front desk staff and the floor attendants were very welcoming. I'd definitely stay at Jinshan again if I had the chance.
A 187ml bottle of Anseman red wine: We received two small bottles, which my husband and I finished that evening. It was slightly sweet and had a relatively smooth flavor. It was quite good. 👍🏻

I still like the style of this hotel very much. It is retro Tang style. The murals are beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. The facilities and equipment are also very detailed. For example, the mosquito repellent liquid and the towels and bedding in the bathroom are very clean and white. The room is very comfortable in summer. The overall environment of Tianlu Hotel in Shangnan County has been widely praised, but the quality of breakfast has become an obvious shortcoming in the guests' experience. In terms of the environment, the hotel is located on the southwest side of Shangnan Cultural Square, with convenient surrounding transportation and a garden-style design. The guest rooms are spacious and equipped with independent balconies. Some room types offer quiet garden or mountain views. When checking in, you can also walk through the corridor to experience the courtyard landscape. The overall atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. In addition, the hotel has complete facilities, including a spa, gym, tennis courts, etc. Free parking and Wi-Fi are also provided in public areas, which is suitable for self-driving tourists or business people to relax.
However, the breakfast experience has been repeatedly criticized. Although the hotel advertises that it has a rich breakfast variety, actual guests reported that the dishes were monotonous and in short supply, especially during peak hours (such as after 8 o'clock) where there might be ”leftovers”. One guest even mentioned that ”there was not much left when we arrived at 8:40”. The breakfast content was evaluated as ”not refined enough”, which was inconsistent with the hotel's four-star positioning, and the buffet at 30 yuan per person was not cost-effective. Guest UserThere are not many houses around and the environment is very quiet. You can pick chestnuts if you go up the mountain. There is a stream next to it where you can catch small fish. It is very fun to take the children to play. The housekeeper Wang Ke also provides good service and is always responsive to requests. The meals cooked by the aunt are large and delicious. I highly recommend families who want to escape from the world to come here and experience the tranquility of nature. The only bad part is the last ten minutes or so of the mountain road. The road surface is uneven due to construction vehicles, and it is difficult to pass by large trucks. It is probably ok if you drive slowly. Will consider staying here again...
