Hotels with Breakfast in Hamburg

"The location is extremely convenient directly across the street from the Hauptbahnhof and with a subway station entrance and bus stop right outside. I felt very safe walking around even at night and the few homeless or other kinds of people hanging around were not that many and were not bothering others. There are many shops and restaurants and a supermarket at the train station but also right around the corner from the hotel is a busy street so easily walking distance to almost anything you need and a fifteen minute bus ride to the city center or the port and Reeperbahn area. It was extremely hot during my stay so no air conditioning was tough but most of the more normal weather times it would be fine. There is some city noise but it did not bother me even at night for sleeping with the windows open. A light sleeper might need earplugs though. There is only one small elevator for two people available for the hotel - the second one is still broken as other reviews mentioned so I wouldn’t expect it to be fixed. Taking the stairs down from the fifth floor was fine but not with heavy bags or going up maybe. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard for Germany but not a lot of extras or variety. It was good but not exciting. The best feature of the hotel was the spacious room and comfortable beds. I think it’s a good value for the space and location and would stay again."

"The building has a decent exterior and convenient transportation, but the rooms are small, making it difficult to turn around, and the bathroom door cannot be closed. Luggage storage is available for a fee. If comfort is a priority, you may want to skip this option."

"I did not know, it will be Pride saturday (weekend) that day.. It was busy and loud area. The price was higher then usually because of that reason. I did not really checked the reviews, coz that was my emergency stay (i could not get on my flight). Anyway, everything was more expensive than in normal days. I did not expect any warm greeting, so as I know in germany is not really about prioritizing the guests instead of chatting with mates.. The dorms are ok, nothing special, you have in every dorm toilette and bathroom, they are small but well maintained. The beds are comfy and clean, if somebody is sleeping on the top of bed and moving, you will notice it. I missed the curtain to have some privacy and dark to close my bed part. Not everyone is respecting that the people try to sleep or they dont feel good. Road - street under the hostel is not really safe for single woman traveller, or maybe it was my personal feeling. I would not walk and hang around during dark. The location is close to train station, for one night it is perfect."

"The location is unbeatable, directly across from the train station and the Kunsthalle art museum. There's also a more modern art museum nearby that's free for visitors under 18, which I highly recommend (it's the Kunstmuseum, not the Kunsthalle, they're different!). Like many German hotels, they don't provide disposable slippers, so bring your own. You'll also need to request toothbrushes and a kettle from the front desk if you need them. There's one complimentary bottle of mineral water in the room. The air conditioning is quite loud, so it's best to keep it off if possible. If you're traveling with kids, check out the library in the second picture. The first floor has a large children's reading area, even with Chinese books. The restrooms there are also very clean. Inside the train station, the Mexican restaurant (pictured in the third image) is great for Chinese palates. The beef burrito is very hearty, and you can add avocado for a small extra charge, which is delicious. We ate there twice. The fourth picture shows a nearby bus stop. When you check in, you receive a free public transport card for use within the city, covering both buses and subways. You can take the #2 bus from this stop to Miniatur Wunderland in about three minutes, or the #6 bus in just one minute. To return to the hotel, you'll use the same bus stop as it's on a circular route. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money! The price was even a bit cheaper on Ctrip than other international sites. Highly recommended."

"This is a no frills hotel good for staying a couple of nights. It is quite expensive for what it actually is, but it was among the cheapest options I coule find when booking. Perhaps that's the price standard in Hamburg. The room looked a bit dated but it was quite spacious compared to other hotels in Europe. The location is great, close to the city centre and train station. However, you do see a lot of weird people wandering around the area near the hotel. I did not have any issues, but I would recommend staying vigilant. Breakfast is basic, but at least it is included so you won't leave hungry in the morning."

"One of my best stays in Germany. The room was spacious, very clean, and I especially loved the strong hair dryer. The bed was also very comfortable. The only downside: The hotel is about a 12–15 minute walk from the nearest train station, but the route is not pedestrian-friendly, especially if you’re carrying luggage. During my stay, there was road construction, and we had to drag our suitcases across uneven, rocky ground, which made the walk quite tough."

"Comfy bed, clean room, good location, next door to a late night Aldi for all your drinks, groceries, snacks and toiletries. The hotel is close to the best bars and clubs for a good night out on reeperban street. Not far from the harbour, maratime museum and many grand and historical buildings including the large Cathedral spire and clock tower as well as Westfield shopping mall which has all the fashion outlets, bars and worldwide restaraunts."

"Good value for money and very conveniently located. Plenty of street parking is usually available in the surrounding area. It's a short 15-minute walk to the East Side Gallery, where you can see the 'Fraternal Kiss' mural. The property has three buildings, so make sure to ask the front desk which one your room is in before you head up, to save yourself an unnecessary walk."

"It's a 15-minute walk from the train station. Due to road construction, the navigation might show a slightly circuitous route, but it becomes much easier once you get used to it. The lobby on the first floor offers hot and cold drinks, especially coffee and tea. The coffee is particularly good. The restaurant is large, and the breakfast is decent. Check-in was smooth, and the tall, handsome staff provided excellent service. The room is stylishly modern, and the bathroom has underfloor heating. There's a chair in the room. The downside is that it's a bit far from the city center; walking there is a bit strenuous, and using public transportation is somewhat inconvenient. There was a noticeable stain on the carpet near the door."
