"We booked two deluxe double rooms. One was acceptable, a standard deluxe room, but the other was very disappointing. After we raised our concerns, we were moved to a different room. Although it was slightly better, it was still far from satisfactory: the sink wouldn't drain properly, which was quite inconvenient, and the entire bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell. The facilities were completely substandard for a 4-star hotel. It simply wasn't worth the price."

"The location is one kilometer from the city center and within walking distance. Parking at the door is very convenient and free. The room was clean and welcoming, and slippers were provided very unexpectedly. The front desk staff was polite and very friendly. "It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station and about a 10-minute walk from Little Venice. When I first arrived, I thought I had booked a room too far from Little Venice! "Odalys City Colmar la Rose d'Argent Address: 15, avenue d’Alsace, Colmar, 68000, France Phone: +33-389-207538 Rating: 4.5 Location: Situated on the edge of Colmar's Old Town, you just cross the street from the hotel and walk straight to reach it. It's about a 12-minute walk to Colmar's 'Little Venice'. The hotel lobby takes up very little space, and public areas are limited, but there is a free indoor swimming pool. The rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette and a sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed had already been made up for us upon arrival. I booked two identical balcony rooms, but they were on different floors. Mine was a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony on the ground floor. This 'balcony' was merely an open space facing the parking lot with no privacy whatsoever. Compared to the other room upstairs, which had a spacious balcony, the value for money was significantly better for that one. The shower in the ground-floor room had no glass partition, only a shower curtain. The curtain easily sticks to you while showering, and if it's not kept entirely within the small tub, the whole bathroom floods. The kitchenette is quite useful; although the induction hob isn't suitable for stir-frying, it's perfectly fine for simple cooking. Pros: Close to the Old Town and quiet, with a kitchenette. Cons: Difficult-to-find parking. The hotel's main entrance is at a street intersection, surrounded by many complex, narrow roads, some of which are restricted. We drove around the hotel three times without finding the parking lot. In the end, a friend had to get the parking code from the front desk and guide us in. The parking is located behind the hotel, but the address on the website is only for the main entrance. Driving to the main entrance doesn't allow for parking, as the parking lot is in a completely different location. If the hotel had provided the exact parking address, we wouldn't have driven in circles. Parking is also quite expensive at 13 euros per day. I booked a balcony room, but the ground-floor one was a 'fake' balcony, offering poor value for the same price. It would be much better if they used flowers or other decorations to screen off the balcony from the parking lot, creating a sense of separation. The shower in the ground-floor room did not match the online photos; there was no glass shower enclosure, unlike the room on the second floor. This makes the ground-floor room seem very poor value."

"It is very convenient to travel and the accommodation is in a quiet location. There are museums and many restaurants around. The towels in the hotel are very comfortable and the thickness is comparable to that of a five-star hotel. The toiletries are elegant and fragrant, just like French perfume."

"About 10 mins walk from colmar station. Housekeeper is good, they folded our Pyjamas. However, there is a dried pee smell in the toilet area, although it looks clean. Could be the toilet bowl surface or the flooring that is permanently stained."

"This hotel was central in Colmar. It was a lovely hotel with good amenities. We booked it as it had a private car park and we were travelling so needed it to be secure. It was- in an underground car park. This was great except we were charged €20 for this. We expected a small charge but felt that this charge should have been mentioned on the hotel details. We might have chosen a better hotel for this extra amount."

"1. The room is not large enough for one person to live in. It is clean and tidy. 2. There is a free parking lot close to the expressway and other roads. 3. 8💶 breakfast is enough for one person. 4. The old town is less than 20 minutes away by car. But it’s affordable to live here. 5. It is suitable for overnight transfer to Switzerland. Basically, it takes more than 3 hours one way to go to a Swiss town like Longjiang. 6. You can buy a 50% off Swiss highway toll sticker vignette with cash (cards cannot be swiped) at the front desk. This is very practical. It is difficult to avoid the motorway when going to Switzerland. 7. Toiletries and slippers are not provided, and the towels are slightly old (but this is not a problem because most overseas hotels do not provide them) shortcoming; 1. Don’t go there if you don’t have a car or drive yourself, it’s difficult to get public transportation. The hotel is located in a factory area surrounded by car vendors and various other facilities. There is no supermarket and the nearest walking restaurant only offers buffet. So it’s best to buy the essentials and go back after dinner."
