"I stayed here for a night then added additional night. The front desk people are really friendly and super helpful. I got a free room upgrade as well. The water refills on each floor is a big thumbs up from me. My only recommendation to the management is to consider adding more soap to the bathroom amenities. Like dedicated hand soap, shampoo, body soap. Not just one soap for everything."

"The hotel has a great design. Although the rooms are small, the beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. The downsides are that there is no elevator, the staff is not well-trained, there is no restaurant, the parking lot is very small, and there are no slippers in the rooms."

"This was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait. They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time. The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there. For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived. Food overall was decent. One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want."

On the recommendation of close friends, we chose to try Padma Hotel Semarang for our stay in Semarang, and we absolutely did not regret it. We truly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the gym was beautiful, and the coffee and pastries at Goolali were also of excellent quality. Combined with the beautiful entrance and the warm atmosphere of the hotel, it created a very pleasant overall experience. What stood out the most to us, however, was the outstanding service from the staff. We would especially like to thank Mr. Syahrul for his professionalism and friendly service during breakfast. One small point for improvement would be the speed of the Wi-Fi, especially when using YouTube on the television. We certainly hope to return next year, hopefully for a longer stay.

All the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent, and I particularly have to praise their swimming pool. Having stayed in numerous five-star hotels across different countries, I can confidently say their pool is one of the larger ones and impeccably clean. The only downside is that it closes at 8 PM. The hotel's breakfast buffet is incredibly extensive; you're guaranteed to find something you'll enjoy. The restaurant staff are exceptionally attentive. If you dine there for breakfast two days in a row, they'll already remember your preferences and ask if you need anything specific. Furthermore, their Chinese restaurant, Summer Palace, serves outstanding Cantonese cuisine, and the prices are very reasonable. Even the staff in the Chinese restaurant maintain the hotel's consistently friendly service. If you ever have the chance to stay at this hotel, I highly recommend trying their Chinese restaurant.

This hotel has a unique and pleasant interior. The location is very strategic. The rooms are also comfortable and spacious. Generally, the cleanliness is good. However, there were some stains on the bed sheets. We checked, and the bed sheets had already been changed, but the stains were still there after coming from the laundry. Perhaps they could cross-check this with their laundry vendor. Even after we asked for new ones from housekeeping, they were in the same condition. Another minor point for me is the complimentary drinking water. It seems to be water from a dispenser (we don't know if it's refilled or not) served in a jug, not bottled mineral water. That's a bit odd for a 4-star hotel standard. But overall, it's okay.

On my frequent business trips to Semarang, I always stay at the PO Hotel, which is conveniently located next to Paragon Mall. It's a 5-star hotel in the city center, offering a nice staycation experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and for dinner, I just walk to PG Mall through the connected doorway. The breakfast menu is also comprehensive and delicious. My suggestion for PO Hotel would be to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs and add more local channels, specifically Anteve and Indosiar, if possible.

Super super great location, close to Lawang Sewu, a mall, and a bus station. A cathedral and an army museum are within walking distance (tho you can skip the museuk tbh). Staffs are great, very polite, helpful, and quick to offer solutions. Quite loyal with the food and they provide water in the corridors. With that price, ofc there will be some setbacks, amenities are minimal, no fridge, no hair dryer (you can ask them directly), but they do provide water bottle everyday. Overall a great service and a pleasant stay

I especially want to praise their breakfast – the variety was impressive, with a wide selection of local Indonesian flavors and Western dishes, all prepared with great care. Well-Equipped Facilities, Though Showing Some Age: The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and the decor is more classic and traditional, the overall cleanliness was spotless, and maintenance was excellent. The hotel's pool and gym were also very clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years, easily top three. Their attention to detail and dedication to service quality are absolutely incredible. I wholeheartedly and earnestly recommend this hotel to all travelers; they are truly outstanding. As for location, it's very close to Semarang's Old Town, about 500 meters away, making it a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to explore the old town's charm and vibrant atmosphere.

Great hotel actually, nice pool and breakfast, but the building and interior is a little bit old that I’m not really into it. Many cracks at the wall and floor that not looks good. Its located in a local residences, not too close to the center of the city.
