"The soundproofing in this hotel is a bit lacking, maybe because it's right next to a main road. Even though they moved me to a different room, I could still hear noise đĽ˛. Those who are light sleepers should be cautious. Other than that, it's quite convenient. The breakfast is Japanese-style, so if you don't like eating rice in the morning, be careful. There were some pastries, but they were all very sweet."

"The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of Chiba Central Park, very close to the Yoshikawa Park monorail station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chiba-Chuo Station.
The room I had was only partially renovated, and the bathroom fixtures felt quite old-fashioned, though the bedding was decent. The room itself was pretty spacious, but not as large as stated on Trip.com; I'd estimate it to be around 20-22 square meters. It came with two single beds, two chairs, and a tea table.
Dining options nearby are plentiful, but if you're looking for shopping, I'd recommend SOGO and BIC CAMERA near Chiba-Chuo Station for a wider selection.
Breakfast is a buffet, costing 1980 JPY per person. It offers both Japanese and Western options, providing good value for money with a wide variety and tasty dishes. You can even try Chiba's local specialty, the Rakka Peanuts Monaka.
Nearby attractions include Chiba Port, Inohana Castle Ruins, and Kisarazu Outlet Park. Getting to Makuhari Messe is also quite convenient from here."

"The hotel is conveniently located very close to the subway station, just about a 3-minute walk. On the way to the station, you'll find a 7-Eleven and several dining options, with a Jusco supermarket also nearby. This makes it incredibly convenient. There's also a direct airport shuttle bus available right at the hotel entrance. A one-way ticket to Haneda costs 1300 JPY, and to Narita is 1200 JPY. You just need to wait by the hotel entrance, and the bus is always punctual. My only minor complaint is that the room size felt quite small, which was a bit inconvenient. However, considering the price, staying at a hotel with these amenities is already excellent value. They even provide a microwave, ice machine, and laundry facilities."

"This was my first hotel in Tokyo, about an hour from Narita Airport by bus, which cost around 60 RMB. We got off right at the hotel entrance. The male staff at the front desk had a very stiff service attitude. For breakfast, there weren't many options, but it was clean, which was a plus. Across from the hotel is an outlet mall, which is worth a visit. About 2 kilometers away, there's an Aeon supermarket, and a bit further is an Aeon shopping mall, which is incredibly huge! However, I don't think it's very suitable for tourists. There's a subway station about 500 meters away. Overall, the transportation is quite good."

"Just checked out today and am heading back home. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Makuhari-Toyosuna subway station exit. The lobby features a luggage storage area, a lounge, and an amenities station where complimentary coffee is available. It was also convenient to grab any personal care items I needed from the lobby on my way back to the room each day. The hotel was spotlessly clean; rooms were tidied daily, with fresh bed linen, bath towels, and even pajamas provided. The staff were always smiling, greeted guests warmly, and made us feel very welcome. A large shopping mall is just a 50-meter walk from the hotel, and on the ground floor, there are also restaurants and a convenience store, making both travel and dining incredibly convenient!"

Apaka ganda! This is a business hotel, kya full service cla. Di na aku nag avail ng breakfast kc nga, bawat sulok may kainan. Since this is 1.5 hours from tokyo. Laking tipid dito. Ung pamasahe from chiba to tokyo nsa 300-500 pesos lang. Para ka lang nag taxi. Di kna lugi. Got it for a special. Nsa 2k lang per night. This hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms for the price point, which was a definite plus. While my room on a lower floor didn't have the sea view mentioned in some descriptions, I found it comfortable and well-sized.
A true highlight was the breakfast on the 21st floor. The panoramic views were absolutely beautiful and made for a delightful start to the day.
The sauna was adequate, though not particularly memorable.
The one significant drawback was the difficulty in locating the bus shuttle. The absence of a clearly marked location or a QR code made finding it quite frustrating. This is an area the hotel should definitely address to improve the guest experience."

"The location was superb! It's the same building as Chibachuo station and surrounded by mini marts and restaurants. And it's 10 mins walk to Chiba Port Arena.
The staff were nice and willing to help. However, I booked for non-smoking room but still smelled cigarette smoke in my room. Especially in the night. I guess it came from the other room :("

Toiletries, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and various small packets of facial cleanser, makeup remover, skincare, and other small items, are available for free in the lobby. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, with a slight change daily. My first experience was very good. It's also super convenient for getting around, with Chiba Station being very close.

MMurahariConveniently located just 2 mins walk from Kaihimmakuhari Station with easy access to nearby AEON shopping malls and various food outlets. Also ideally within minutes walking distance from Makuhari Messe Convention and Exhibition halls, makes Shuranza a recommended choice. As a plus, the in-house onsen is a welcome respite after a long day roaming around convention venues. Will definetly return for future visits.

## Cons:
* **Lighting Control:** The master light switch in the room was completely ineffective; I had to search for individual switches everywhere to turn off the lights.
* **Entryway Motion Sensor Light:** This was incredibly annoying. The motion-sensor light in the entryway is extremely sensitive and has no off switch. It would constantly turn on with the slightest movement at night, making it very disruptive for light sleepers or anyone easily disturbed.
* **Door and AC Dilemma:** There's a door separating the entryway from the main room, which is good for privacy. However, the air conditioning unit is located in the entryway. If you close this door, a loud draft sound comes from the gap, which is quite irritating.
* **Bathtub Mystery:** The bathtub drain would inexplicably start draining water into the sewage system even when not in use. I have no idea where this water was coming from!
* **Breakfast Taste:** While breakfast offered a good variety of choices, the taste was generally quite average.

Ccottoncandy28My 5-night stay at Hotel Francs was very positive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. The room size is standard for Japan, which was perfectly fine. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. The hotel's location is a major plus, being close to the train station and Mitsui Outlet, which has many restaurants and convenience stores. Getting here from the airport was also convenient via the limousine bus, which stops right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were there for the Star Wars Celebration and it was fantastic to hop on without massive crowds. Between the train station and the hotel are a handful of food options, including two 7-11s, which stay open until midnight or later. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

AAnonymous UserThe main purpose of this trip is to go to Makuhari to see the exhibition. I chose to stay in Soga mainly because it is close to the seaside Makuhari Station. It is only a few stops away. It saves a lot of time compared to traveling back and forth from downtown Tokyo. The hotel is also easy to find. Soga Five minutes walk from the station.
The hotel room size is considered medium by Japanese standards. The hardware is clean, but it has a sense of age. Soga Station is a JR station. There are convenience stores and restaurants near the station. I don't think there is a big shopping mall. It is far inferior to Chiba Station. Far away, relatively deserted.
I booked breakfast for Yen 1,800. It was convenient and the food quality was OK.

If youâre looking for a great place to stay away from the choas of Tokyo and cost effective then this place is it! When I do go back to Japan I will definitely be staying here as it was one of the best options I picked, oh and not to mention itâs close to the mitsui outlet mall which has great options to do any type of shopping! You wonât regret staying here and donât read into the negative reviews because this place was very clean and up to par! đđž

RRyokoConvenient near the station. There are restaurants around and it is substantial. Arrived late at night, but it was smooth with automatic check-in. Breakfast is free and you wake up slowly in the morning and eat breakfast and leave. Because the breakfast venue is small, it is crowded because it was a holiday, so it is good that the hotel side devises so that the guests do not overlap too much.

GGuest UserIt was a pleasure staying at the Famy hotel clean good breakfast and a very good reception staff specially Kozo who was friendly and very helpful highly recommended closed to Makuhari hongo st.. only 45 min from Tokyo ( suidobashi st. ) I stayed there 8 night straight got Onsen with sauna at the top and local Halâs see food restaurant at the top if you lazy to go out to eat basic and good buisiness or if you want to have a cheaper solution and donât mind a 45 min ride to Tokyo also easy to get to the airport one way with Kristi line so give good solution .
