"We loved our stay at Seafari! The place looks like something out of a postcard—perched under a cliff with dreamy views and its own little private beach. Now, full disclosure: to get there, you’ll have to conquer what felt like a thousand stairs (okay, maybe just 50 meters of cliffside steps, but our legs don’t know the difference). Totally worth it though! The staff was super friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and everything felt peaceful and private. If you're up for a bit of a leg workout and want a quiet slice of paradise, this is your spot."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by clear blue waters that create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The tranquil environment made it an ideal choice for a quick getaway. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable."

"Fantastic stay! The room was quite spacious (for 3 people, with 4 beds: 1 double and two singles), a private bathroom, and hot water! There are two fantastic common areas with sea views, and direct access to go down to the shore for a swim. The staff were welcoming and super friendly, always ready to help resolve any issues. There's hot and cold water, and free tea and coffee making facilities. Snacks are available for purchase on the spot, and the magnets are top-notch! In front, there’s an excellent spot for food or drinks (with a 50% discount from around 4-7 PM), and a Seven Eleven is just a 5-minute walk away!"

"The location is excellent, not far from where they take you to see the whale sharks. The hotel provides round-trip transfers, but you can also walk about 500 meters in 10 minutes, though it's along the road. The price for the whale shark tour from the hotel with transfer is 1000 pesos; without transfer, it's 500 pesos per person if you book on site. The rooms are spartan, with nothing but a bed and a table. There's a water heater in the shower, but it doesn't quite do its job. However, for 3,000 rubles, if you just came to see the whale sharks, spend a night, and leave, it's perfectly justifiable. The hotel has a restaurant where you can grab a bite, and nearby there's a pier with boats that can take you to a small, opposite island with white coral sand. This hotel is really just for a 1-2 night stay."

"From our arrival to the end of our stay the hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was clean, however the air-con temperature setting could not be controlled by the remote control or on the machine itself. It was set to 24 all the time. Bathroom was adequate too. The restaurant had two areas, indoor and outdoor, both brilliant to see the sun rise in the morning. Food was great! The massage chair was an extra treat. An elevator would be great to help guests going up floors especially for seniors and those who have knee problems as the hotel has 3 floors and the stairs are quite steep with each step. The swimming pool was cool but lacked extra deck chairs due to space restrictions."

"The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the sharks. I couldn't really get any rest here; there's absolutely no soundproofing. You can hear everything as if you're sleeping on the street. Roosters start crowing at 3 AM, and by 4 AM, they start bringing tourists to see the sharks, with everyone honking their horns on the road. All these noises come right into your room. The room itself is tired and very, very basic. The air conditioning is also very loud. In the bathroom, which is also the toilet, there's only toilet paper. If you need quiet, look for options further away from the road, as traffic here is 24/7."

"It was really clean and good but booked 2x queen bed was only 1x queen 1 single bed. Even after asking and requesting they denied so we had to book an extra bed for the forfth person"

"The sparrow is small and complete! And the beautiful scenery is too unreal to see! The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic! Breakfast is delicious! Although the boss has a small face, he is very polite and kind! Will definitely come again next time! Too cost-effective!"

"An absolutely superb hotel in Olob. Very family-friendly. The rooms are fantastic – super clean and everything is brand new. The view is amazing, right on the waterfront. The staff is among the best. I highly recommend dinner; we had the chicken soup and shrimp pasta. Everything was delicious and very affordable. The portions are huge. When we return next time, we'll definitely only stay at this hotel."

"Nice, cheap place to stay. Right on the water and has a decent pool with bar and restaurant. About 15 minutes away from whale shark area. Only complaint is that the WiFi isn’t great... went in and out of service entire stay"
