"The location is excellent, very close to Lee Garden, with many great restaurants nearby, including the famous Hat Yai fried chicken. The room's interior decoration and condition are on par with a 90s three or four-star hotel, so the price of under 200 RMB is acceptable. The power outlets in the room are great; in addition to standard plugs, they also have USB ports, which is very convenient for charging. Aside from not having a toothbrush and slippers, the room provides everything else you'd expect. The bathroom has a bathtub instead of a shower, and the water pressure is quite good. I'm not sure if it's just this hotel or if it's common throughout Hat Yai, but the tap water has a strong rusty smell. You can taste it immediately, so I only dared to use bottled water for brushing my teeth afterward. There was always water by the toilet that wouldn't dry, and I later found out it was due to a leaky pipe. There's a landline phone in the room, which should be convenient, but one morning it rang before 8 AM and woke me up. By the time I reacted and answered, it had already hung up, and I couldn't fall back asleep. I'm not sure if it was a front desk error or a prank from another room, so I unplugged the phone before bed on the second night. The front desk staff are impressive, speaking Thai, Malay, and Chinese. This seems to be quite common in Hat Yai. The hotel likely partners with travel agencies, as I often see tour buses bringing Malaysian tourists. There are many Chinese channels on the TV, including Hunan TV and several CCTV channels, which is a nice touch. The wardrobe is built into the wall with just a door on the outside, which I found quite unique."

"Highly recommended for your stay in Hatyai - great to visit now as everything reopens, and support the local community. Centara has great staff, everything you need, lovely views over Hatyai. Everything is close by - bars, restaurants, shops, markets, temples, motorbike rental. You can take the minibus from the airport which drops you close to the hotel for just 60 baht. You can occasionally hear those typical annoying Thai loud motorbike engines but that's common almost everywhere. I will always stay at Centara when I visit Hatyai, it's perfect for a short stay in a great up and coming Thai town."

"The room averagely clean. But my first experience was disappointing. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nites. My 1st room check in smell of cigarette smokes. Need to change room. 2nd room need to change room too due to basin taps loose can't be use properly. Exhaust bathroom also not working.. I think the hotel maintenance is poor. Overall, reception service staff is good and housekeeper too. Location near to Central Hatyai shopping, Greenway and Aseania.. Hope that hotel maintenance improves. The bedroom deco not what it's in the photo.."

"Nice and affordable hotel very closed to the Hat Yai Junction train station. Staff members were really friendly and welcoming 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 7 eleven store is downstairs and Tuk Tuk drivers and taxi services available right front of the entrance. Hat yai is beautiful city full of friendly locals and home to famous Asean night bazar and many other attractions nearby. Many local food options and KFC is walking distance from this property and if you're keen for some shopping Robinson is right next to the KFC, in fact store has a entrance door through the KFC as well."

"Everything is very good. The room is clean and in good condition. I like it's Lobby which smells good with coffee flavour. It is very near to Central Hatyai which is about 150m within walking distance. Though the road towards the main road is a bit quiet and dark at night. There are plenty of Free car parks surrounding the hotel. I strongly recommend the breakfast offered by the hotel. It costs only THB119/set with free flow of coffees, Milo, and fruit teas. The main course offered is delicious and its value is definitely more than the money we paid. The only upset is the room is not sound proof from the corridor. And if the hotel could provide more pillows that will be a plus to it. Overall I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Will definitely come back and recommend it."

"Overall great hotel to stay. Pro: Great location, walking distance to Lee garden, massage center, market, and eatery shops. And yet no annoying noice from the market during night sleep. Clean and cozy room Con: Was not able to access WiFi on the first day, complaint several times and issue solve in the next day. Water dripping sound was heard during night time."

"The location is excellent, with cafés and massage shops right outside, and it’s just 5 minutes walk to Lee Garden Night Market. There are tuk-tuks available all day. The reception was helpful and provided toothbrush upon request. However, the shower gel wasn’t refilled even after I notified the front desk. Overall, a pleasant stay, though housekeeping could improve."
