"Recommend Libong Beach Resort.  Do as we did, and get dropped off / direct arrival to the resort's beach from a private long tailed boat.  Check-in was easy.  Restaurant was good.  Room was satisfactory.  Rent a bike and drive the island (very nice drivable road) but there isn't really too much to do on the island except chilling' at the resort.  Also, there are 2 small street restaurants just outside (south of the resort) if you are keen on getting a bite to eat off of the resort.  Again, if you are looking for a nice escape & quiet get away from the louder bar & party islands, highly recommend Libong Beach Resort for a 2-3 day trip."

"Excellent welcome at this resort; the bungalows are very nice and all boast sea views. The beach is superb, and the sea is warm and quite calm. The staff are very kind and helpful. The restaurant offers more than fair prices for excellent quality. I highly recommend eating there; the price difference compared to the village is negligible when you factor in taxi costs and tips. The breakfast was varied, although during low season it wasn't a buffet, but anything you wanted was served to you. We did miss fresh bread, only receiving toast, but that's just our preference. Regarding the negatives: yes, off-season means better prices. However, the pools were inaccessible despite being advertised as open upon our arrival. The first one was undergoing full renovation. The second was accessible, but with workers operating nearby, it was impossible to stay there. I believe that since many beachfront bungalows were available, an upgrade would have been appropriate to compensate for the pool situation. There were no concrete suggestions offered upon arrival for excursions or tours; we weren't guided at all. I suspect the manager selectively engages with guests for discussions and offers, as we saw him assisting other clients with excursions, yet he didn't say a single word to us upon our departure, despite being right next to us. As for the surroundings, everything is within walking distance. Otherwise, a scooter costs 200 THB per day, while a tuk-tuk is 50 THB per person per ride, which can quickly add up compared to a scooter."

"The rooms at the back of this resort are basic and a bit run down. AC is good and water pressure for shower. No decoration in the room, drap painted walls. No net curtains so you have to close the blackout curtains for privacy. The balcony area and garden again no privacy and the gardens are just some grass and trees. Lots of broken furniture scattered to areas of the resort on show. For the money I paid for sky rooms. Could do better. Buffet breakfast was standard, no fresh coffee. Staff super friendly. Lot of sand Flys on the beach. Easy 5 min walk from pier, shops and restaurants."

"Traveling during the National Day in 2024, since it is the off-season for the island, there are very few people, the island will not be crowded, and the hotel is not full. Take a long-tail boat, the captain will take you directly to the beach corresponding to the hotel, and when you arrive, the hotel staff will come directly to pick you up and help with the luggage. The hotel written on the Ctrip order details page has no front desk, but there is. When you check in, give a key and a staff will take you directly to the room. The room does not need to insert a card to get electricity, and it has always been in a state of electricity, but there will be a few points in the off-season when there will be a sudden power outage, which will be explained at the front desk when checking in. The room is quite large, and the decoration is not bad. The bathroom and other facilities are also relatively modern, which will not make you feel that it is very broken for a long time. There is no other problem except that the water in the bathroom feels that you can't rinse your mouth (so the hotel prepares mineral water for brushing teeth). The hotel has an open-air restaurant&bar where you can eat your fill. Because it is a natural island, there are still many ants, mosquitoes, and unidentified flying insects, but this is normal. When we were having dinner at night, we felt a large animal making collective noises on the mountain behind the hotel. We didn't know what it was, but it was annoying if it kept making noises. Fortunately, there was no such noise in the room. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were very nice, and it was easy to communicate with people of the same age. The breakfast was quite simple, with only a few varieties to choose from, and they were not very hot, but there were freshly made omelettes, which could be added, and there were whole cans of yogurt! Having said so much, the scenery of the island is very good 👍 There is also a large shallow beach where you can swim, snorkel and canoe, which is suitable for vacation 🏖️"

"The positives ... Room nice and spacious and nice balcony and view of sea, but bed was so hard, and was a small double , we had to complain, they did change it for us, sounds very petty , but we stayed in other 5 other hotels on this visit , and never encountered a problem before. when arrived water pressure from shower was so weak, after talking to the lovely man on reception, (best member of staff on whole complex) they did sort, but tap on sink still just a dribble, but sadly the room was not cleaned well, dirty socks left behind bench/curtain, dust everywhere , bits left under bed. ... The pool area is lovely and relaxing view amazing over infinity pool. Sadly shower from beach so covered in sand, that after using actually have more sand on you than before, so lots of people putting sand into pool. The property has the potential to be excellent, but feel management are letting it down, quality of food at breakfast was the worse we had in all Thailand, we stayed at several hotels during this trip, and this was just bad and lazy , and it was not down to it being a small island, there is plenty available , in local restaurants and quality of food and what was available was excellent. no fresh fruit juice , just squash, just sugar no fruit, inedible, no fresh coffee available just instant, we asked and they said not possible. everything cold ,you have to put everything through toaster , no pastries , no poached eggs , just cold fried eggs, pancakes , awful french toast, all in metal tins prepared long before, you could order omelette, but came with degusting burger cheese cut up on top. (very poor quality) they are really cutting corners, most people that stayed when we did were bringing own fruit and condiments to breakfast , gardens could be beautiful , but gardeners just sweeping leaves , no maintenance, beach beds old and hard wood, not mattresses, all in all if I ever returned would opt for no breakfast and go to local restaurants, insist on proper king size bed, and make them thoroughly clean room ."

"Shoenes Resort. You can relax well, it is quiet on the shoe beach. All you have brought in the room is all you have brought. Only on mucks you need to be careful, as the tuers to the toilet are not sufficiently close and there can fly from outside mucks. The staff is very friendly and helpful."

"У отеля удачное расположение: возле кафе и ресторанов, близко к пляжу ( песок белый,заход в воду пологий, нет камней, купаться можно во время прилива,вода чистая,прозрачная) и мототакси. Ночью тихо,хорошо...утром чирикают птички...на острове после 22 часов тишина и спокойствие). Территория отеля ухоженная, много зелени, декоративных украшений из ракушек, хорошее освещение вечером. Мы жили в стандартном отдельном домике с небольшой террасой. В номере очень мало места,как оказалось)...центральное место занимает кровать и по периметру кровати остаётся 40 см, шкафа нет- одежду размещать негде, все лежало в чемодане, который размещался ”стоя” вдоль кровати,что было неудобно. Постельное белье чистое, приятное,спать было комфортно. Кондиционер, как всегда ” по закону подлости”, расположен над кроватью, но мы выбрали удобный режим и весь поток холодного воздуха был направлен вверх. Кондиционер работал тихо, исправно. На стене напротив кровати есть крепления для телевизора, но самого телевизора не было ( для нас это не было проблемой,так как тв не смотрим).В номере хорошее освещение, яркое, розетки были с одной стороны кровати, в ванной комнате розеток нет. В номере был холодильник небольшой, чайник,чашки,блюдца, ложечки чайные, 2 бутылки воды, 2 пакетика растворимого кофе и 2 пакетика сахара. Воду приносили ежедневно. Пополняли запасы туалетной бумаги. В ванной комнате напор воды в душе был слабый, вода еле теплая текла, на стене есть держатели для полотенец ( 2 больших полотенца для тела, для лица не было, пляжные полотенца отсутствуют). Каждое утро приносили на террасу завтрак с 8 до 10 утра. В день отъезда попросила приготовить завтрак пораньше к 7:45, принесли все вовремя, спасибо большое за это. Работники отеля очень приветливые, помогают своим постояльцам. Хозяин отеля возил на пляж Чарли ( 50 бат/чел). Пользовались услугами прачечной ( 70 бат/кг одежды) при отеле. Мы жили 3 ночи, за это время уборка номера не производилась, полотенца не меняли, мусор не выносили. Для сушки пляжных полотенец, купальников,шорт использовали стулья на террасе и перила террасы,так как сушилки для вещей не было. Рядом с отелем посетили кафе Fishman: неплохое место с аутентичной кухней. Но больше всего нам понравилось кафе Lae Lay Seafood в 50 метрах от отеля направо вдоль береговой линии. Мы обедали и ужинали только там: цены разумные,все очень вкусно, хозяева радушные и приятные люди. Морепродукты свежайшие и приготовят все,как вам нужно. Рекомендую это семейное кафе. Если пройтись по центральной улице Ко Мук,то на каждом шагу вы найдёте кафе по душе, много туристических агенств, несколько магазинов, одна больница. Кстати,врач в клинике- замечательная женщина,которая хорошо говорит по-английски с большим опытом работы более 25 лет. Мы обращались к ней за помощью из-за укусов песчаных мух ( sandyflies), провела осмотр, выписала и выдала лекарства,мазь, расписала лечение. Аптек нет на острове, к сожалению. Атмосфера на острове расслабляющая, спокойная. Мы довольны отелем и приятным отдыхом! Спасибо за гостеприимство!"
