I received a room upgrade using my Ctrip points, though the front desk didn't inform me of this proactively. Upon entering the room, there was a faint, noticeable smell. Fortunately, they offered late-night snacks, which was ideal as I hadn't eaten dinner."

"As an Anhui native, this is the second time to Changde. Changde is a clean and livable city. The Taohua Island Hotel is also the second time to stay. "1️⃣ The service from waitresses Xiao Yang and Shan Shan was excellent.
2️⃣ This is the first Orange Crystal hotel in Changde, currently in its trial operation phase, so it doesn't participate in Huazhu's benefits program. However, the service level is truly impeccable; as a Changde local, I felt very welcome staying here.
3️⃣ There are three washer-dryer combos, and the washing and drying performance is excellent. They also offer laundry service. The gym has two treadmills, one elliptical trainer, and one rowing machine. I hope they can add some simple dumbbells.
4️⃣ The breakfast was very good. Having stayed at a 0.5 version of Orange Crystal in Changsha the day before yesterday, I still feel that newer versions are always better.
5️⃣ Because it's newly opened, there's a slight smell of renovation. Ventilation needs to be improved.
6️⃣ The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to Changde Pedestrian Street and Wuling Pavilion.
I hope the hotel continues to improve! I'll definitely stay here again next time. (ง•̀_•́）ง"

"A Catholic church ruins hotel with a sense of age, a little distance from Liuye Lake. The hotel is not big, there are not many guests, the facilities are a bit old, but the service staff are very enthusiastic, breakfast, afternoon tea and supper are provided. I had breakfast and afternoon tea, but did not go for supper, but I went to see it and said that they were eating noodles."

"Service: Since it's a newly opened hotel, the staff were very welcoming, which was great and made the holiday traveler feel happy.
Cleanliness: I found a hair in my bag as soon as I entered the room. The cleanliness details could be improved.
Facilities: The air conditioner was very loud when it started, which startled me, but it was fine afterward. The airflow was strong. The bathroom handle was glued on; I must have been too strong—I've been eating too much in Changde lately—and I even managed to poop it out. The toilet made a strange noise when I checked in, but thankfully it was resolved quickly.
Environment: I was initially very happy about the location, praising it all day. However, at night, it was terrible! I thought someone was singing in one of the rooms. I called the front desk, and they said they would check, but nothing happened. They kept singing non-stop. I searched online and found two KTVs nearby, one very close, on the third floor (I was staying on the fifth floor)... The noise continued until 2 or 3 AM. It's not suitable for people with sleep problems. The location is indeed good, but perhaps a higher floor would be better."

QQingwaJThis was my second stay, and the experience was still very good. The parking lot was huge, and the front desk service was efficient. They would select a suitable room type according to the guests' requirements. Perhaps because it's close to Dahe Street and Liuye Lake, this hotel seemed to be very popular and busy. The complimentary iced lemon and cucumber water in the lobby was very refreshing, and the availability of both hot and cold drinks was a thoughtful touch. When the service manager noticed a child crying in the lobby, he immediately brought a small gift bag to soothe the child. The room was clean and tidy, and the complimentary desserts in the evening were also very delicious. Overall, this is a hotel worth the effort to write a review for.

CChenxiaLet me talk about the results first. It is a highly recommended hotel. The room is spacious, with a wide view and a window that can see the lake. Because the space is large and the weather is cold, I was given a small oil heater, and the room is very warm. The solid wood floor looks very clean. The sofa can be pulled out as a bed, which is very convenient for families traveling with children, and it is also very comfortable to sleep. The attitude of the front desk is very good, and any situation can be handled in the first time. The variety of breakfast is average, not too much or too little. The bathroom space is well designed, and the shower room does not leak at all, even if a little water is brought out, it does not affect going to the toilet. I stayed twice during the Spring Festival, and the overall feeling was very good. There are a few points that I hope to improve: one is that the air conditioning is not turned on in the lobby. It doesn't matter if you go there for a short time, but you will feel a little cold while eating breakfast; the other is that the shower head is not good enough, the water pressure should not be low, but the water coming out of the shower head also feels a little weak.

The back was the German town. It was very convenient to eat, live and travel. The towels and bedding were white. The service staff was warm and thoughtful. The park behind the hotel, The scenery is pleasant, you can go for a walk after dinner, very satisfied, Changde is a beautiful city.

HHuiWe needed accommodation for the night to catch an early flight the next morning.
Location: Ideally located within 10-15 minutes from the Airport, with convenient access to restaurants and massage services within walking distance.
Cleanliness: We found the place to be impeccably clean with no issues whatsoever.
Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Facilities: One standout feature was the presence of a little shop in the lobby, which we found quite convenient. Some shops were closed as we were traveling during Chinese New Year. I liked the availability of modern sitting toilets and squatting toilets. The provided slippers were remarkably comfortable, and we also found the establishment to be U.S. passport-friendly. Not bad for the price you pay for.

Room was marketed as ”River-/Lakeview” & any reasonable person would agree it was not Lakeview. It was city view. See the picture attached.
The river was barely visible between two high rise buildings, but only when pressing the face against the window.
To the left was only city. The window was facing east. Pictures faces south.

Hotel location is good, convenient for eating and shopping, very close to the pedestrian street. Stayed for a few nights and felt that the room was clean and comfortable and quiet!
The front desk clerk was warm and responsible. Next time I come to Changde, I will stay at this hotel!

The beautiful sisters at the front desk of the hotel provided excellent and thoughtful service! Every time I passed by, I was proactive and greeted with a sweet smile. The breakfast dishes were also very rich! In summary, this is a very suitable hotel for vacation 🏖️Lie down, come here, you can get rid of all the class smell!
