"I recently stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for 4 nights and 5 days, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. The rooms were great — clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The hallways were absolutely amazing, lined with bookcases and cozy seating areas, all surrounded by fascinating history that truly made the Inn feel special and unique. The mocktails at Triplets were delicious, and the coffee at the café was just as impressive — such a treat during our stay. We were in town because my daughter danced at THON, so we were coming and going at all hours. It was incredibly comforting to be somewhere that felt so safe, welcoming, and conveniently close to everything we needed. Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. I never once arrived or left without someone opening a door for me — that level of attentiveness and hospitality does not go unnoticed. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. I do need to especially mention Claire. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she made our stay so comforting. When my flight was canceled, Claire went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. She helped us navigate our travel changes and made a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Thank you for making what was already a meaningful trip even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!"

"The hotel I stayed in when visiting Penn State had a good clean environment and good location. There were also some choices of food and small supermarkets next to the gas station. It was about ten minutes drive from the school. But it was really cold!"

"Hotel facilities are relatively new, two intersections from Wal-Mart, there are several restaurants around. Breakfast is simple."

"We reserved the room for THREE and only had enough towels for two floor under bed areas still had trash on the floor mood was lined with the water level of the toilet. Had no pen or note pad to leave a note and no TV guide was available "

"The hotel is located a few kilometers away from the university. It is more convenient to go to the university. The service is quite satisfactory and the facilities are OK. I stayed at the hotel for a week and felt good overall."

"The lay out of the rooms is poor. TV is in an unusual place, not easily seen from bed or sofa. The shower/ toilet is separate space from the sink. Doesn’t make sense. I would think that after you use the toilet you would want to wash your hands. To do that you need to open the door, and potentially contaminate the handle. If a person is sleeping you will wake them up if you turn on the light where the sink is. The lighting by the sink is poor. Would not recommend this hotel for this reason. Otherwise, the staff was courteous and the facility clean."

"Overall satisfied. Facilities, cleanliness, staff service, etc. The first visitor can spend a comfortable time without any complaints to point out. It is a hotel recommended for those looking for a hotel near State College."

"I have stayed here several times, the room is clean and tidy, the layout is warm, the location is also very convenient to travel on the campus, very good experience!"

"The hotel room is not big, the sound insulation effect is generally the same, there are not many varieties of early, there are no eggs, and the homemade waffles + jam can be eaten every day. The only advantage is that it is close to the main road of State College and it takes five minutes to drive to PSU. The hotel came out to the right hand side of the main road, there was a Chinese restaurant, there was an Asian supermarket opposite the main road, and I didn't find it when I stayed in the hotel."

"The hotel has free parking, a separate kitchen and living room, you can cook by yourself. There seems to be a sofa bed. The location is around the university town. It is relatively clean and tidy, and it seems that there are more native Americans."
