"I recently stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for 4 nights and 5 days, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. The rooms were great — clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The hallways were absolutely amazing, lined with bookcases and cozy seating areas, all surrounded by fascinating history that truly made the Inn feel special and unique. The mocktails at Triplets were delicious, and the coffee at the café was just as impressive — such a treat during our stay. We were in town because my daughter danced at THON, so we were coming and going at all hours. It was incredibly comforting to be somewhere that felt so safe, welcoming, and conveniently close to everything we needed. Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. I never once arrived or left without someone opening a door for me — that level of attentiveness and hospitality does not go unnoticed. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. I do need to especially mention Claire. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she made our stay so comforting. When my flight was canceled, Claire went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. She helped us navigate our travel changes and made a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Thank you for making what was already a meaningful trip even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!"

"The hotel is located a few kilometers away from the university. It is more convenient to go to the university. The service is quite satisfactory and the facilities are OK. I stayed at the hotel for a week and felt good overall."

"The hotel I stayed in when visiting Penn State had a good clean environment and good location. There were also some choices of food and small supermarkets next to the gas station. It was about ten minutes drive from the school. But it was really cold!"

"We love the restaurant and have visited it many times. Food and drinks are top notch. Rooms are very dated and in need of a remodel. Our towels were replaced in the morning but the bed was just quickly made without changing sheets. No in room refrigerator so bring a cooler. Balcony was nice but our room looked over storage units and a parking lot not a View of the course or pool. We didn’t have a chance to play the course which is beautiful but we did hit some balls on the range and they charged us $20 each to hit unlimited balls. Pretty steep price to hit balls on a range while your staying there. We love State College and always enjoy staying in the area but they really need to put some money into the rooms of this place and do a major remodel."

"We reserved the room for THREE and only had enough towels for two floor under bed areas still had trash on the floor mood was lined with the water level of the toilet. Had no pen or note pad to leave a note and no TV guide was available "

"The hotel room is not big, the sound insulation effect is generally the same, there are not many varieties of early, there are no eggs, and the homemade waffles + jam can be eaten every day. The only advantage is that it is close to the main road of State College and it takes five minutes to drive to PSU. The hotel came out to the right hand side of the main road, there was a Chinese restaurant, there was an Asian supermarket opposite the main road, and I didn't find it when I stayed in the hotel."

"The room was very clean, the customer service here was very warm, and the small toys were sent to the children. It was very suitable here, the surrounding environment was good, the school was very close, the overall was very good, and breakfast was provided! recommend!"
