"What a wonderful surprise this B&B was! The service is incredibly attentive, the views are stunning, and the rooms are beautifully designed with top-notch amenities. The two receptionists were also so gentle and patient. (And the breakfast was genuinely delicious!) I would absolutely choose to stay here again if I return to Shenzhen! (It can get pretty hot, so staying in is a great option. The balcony views are truly magnificent – I even found them more spectacular and beautiful than visiting the actual seaside!)"

"The landlord is very nice. He even made me porridge this morning when I had a sore throat, and he often shares good food with me. I haven't been feeling well these past few days, but we still had hot pot together in the rented room. Having a landlord like him is like having family by my side, bringing a touch of warmth to those of us working hard away from home. It's really nice. The room also has a newly installed full-length mirror, which I absolutely love. I always need to dress up and check myself before going out on dates, hehe. There's also a blender, so those who like soy milk can make it in the morning – it's healthy!!"

"I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Shenzhen! It's only a 2–3 minute walk from the Hongshan metro station, making it super convenient. There are plenty of excellent local restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Such a strategic location. The place is very clean, particularly the bed. It is spacious. The owner is not only kind but also responsive. He kept me updated throughout my stay. I have also made international friends from there. Highly recommend to those who travel alone and will think of this hostel whenever I want to visit Shenzhen."

"We are a group of 7 friends. I made a reservation for all of us together and paid around 8€, which I thought was a very good price. The day we arrived, the owner told us the price was per person and not for the whole booking, which was odd as the reservation already had our 7 names on it, but also reasonable considering the very low price. After our stay I can honestly say that the original price of 8€ for 7 is the maximum I would have paid for this place. The rooms themselves are not too bad and in line with the Chinese standard (quite right, very hard and slim futon mattresses), but also clean sheets and good privacy with curtains. The real issue with this place are the bathrooms. First of all there are only two of them for more than 20 people. Secondly, they are nothing short of disgusting. One of them is a room with a squatting toilet, a sink and a shower that smells like piss worse than a public toilet. The second one has a Western toilet with a broken toilet seat and a shower without a shower head (basically like a garden hose). I normally don't complain about these things as I'm used to traveling on a budget. But as I said, these are things I would have totally accepted if the price I paid was indeed the original one I made a reservation for. Especially because for that price (as a group of 7) you can find cheaper and nicer options in the same area. I would not recommend this place unless you really can't find anything cheaper or better, or if you want to be very close to the civic center. Definitely not a good place to stay more than 1 night."

"We stayed in a Queens tent. The tent was like a 3* hotel- clean and comfortable with a toilet and shower and regular amenities. There is an ac unit. It was heavy rain which was noisy but they leave some ear plugs. We had the coconut chicken hotpot which is brought to the tent and you cook it. The lunch and breakfast were fine but quite basic. There is a soft play area for children and a few other activities including an animal petting area for an extra charge: it was an enjoyable evening but not worth the expensive price and the location, whilst green, still feels very much in the city"

"The best experience I ever had. We are celebrating our anniversary however the location don’t allow us to have deliver. But the staff drive n pick it up for us. Feeling really heartwarming during the stay as all the food were fresh and yummy. Also, with the arrangements were amazing. Highly recommended"

"I booked a room on the 3rd floor, side A, from April 19th to April 20th. This guesthouse has its own elevator, making it a hotel-quality establishment. It's right on the right as you enter the East Gate. The ground floor has a coffee shop in the morning and an oil bar in the evening; the basement has an electronic DJ; the 2nd floor is a bar; and floors 3-5 are guest rooms. There are also camping-style tables and chairs on the rooftop. You might think a bar, bar, and DJ would be noisy? Well, the soundproofing is incredible! The room's terrace faces the main street of the old town. Even after nightfall, with the giant sliding glass doors closed, you can't hear any noise from tourists or even music from downstairs. The fire escape doesn't have a door, but it has super thick soundproofing sandbags. The terrace also has a washing machine and dryer, and they even provided disinfectant laundry detergent. I wish I hadn't brought so many clothes! The room design is stylish and tasteful, and the facilities are relatively new. There's a giant bathtub, and the room was very clean. The service from the housekeeper, barista, and bartender was excellent—polite and attentive. I will definitely stay here again."
