"Gorgeous hostel! Super cool, amazingly styled, beautiful communal areas, 24 hr reception with kind staff, women’s area was clean and organised (especially beautiful bathroom space). Great sized lockers too! ***There are two elevators on the ground floor but only the left one was working when I was there in December 2025 (not an issue - just letting you know if you’re going because I was confused when I entered the right one first, thinking I couldn’t access the higher levels without a pass but that isn’t necessary)."

"This hotel is right on the street and very close to the subway station. My room was on the third floor and there's an elevator. The front desk staff were very welcoming and check-in was quick. Their English was excellent. There are a lot of foreigners here, and they're very chatty. The great thing about staying in a hostel is how quickly you can break the ice and get to know people – after just a few words, you feel like old friends. The hostel has a group chat with people from all over the world, where everyone shares food tips and travel guides, and you can even find companions for meals or outings. I really love the atmosphere here. In the evenings, the front desk shows movies and hosts little activities. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds have curtains for good privacy. It's very quiet at night for sleeping. The value for money is unbeatable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing."

"I have to say the staff was amazing. Specially the nice girl at reception, which unfortunately I don't remember the name, I give 1000 thanks for all the help. My flight got delayed and they made sure there would be no issue to cancel my first night since I wouldn't be there to check-in. They made sure trip.com contacted me and helped me through the process. The room was clean, warm and cozy. The place has a nice family - friendly vibe. Less than 5 minute walk to the metro. I recommend :)"

"Environment: Great location, convenient transportation. Facilities: As a youth hostel, it only provides the essentials. Ambiance: Elegant and thoughtfully decorated. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly. My personal take: The location is fantastic. As an international youth hostel, its primary purpose has always been to offer backpackers a platform for exchange and to make new friends. Every youth hostel has its own unique character, and it's not about having perfect services or facilities."

"Pros : - Great location, near Yonghegong Lama Temple subway station and only one station from Dongzhimen Capital Airport Express subway station to Beijing Capital Airport -Only few minutes walk to Lama temple and easy to go around by subways line 2 and 5, buses and taxi - Local restaurants and a convenience store nearby - 24 hrs front office staffs with basic English speaking - Outdoor and indoor common areas - Softdrinks, beers, snacks, instant noodles for selling behind the check-in counter - Using a key card to enter the bedroom Cons : - No curtains on bunkbeds, not much privacy - Need to improve the cleanliness a little bit - Refrigerator to keep the guests' food is too small"

"To find good hotels in Beijing is so hard and this was one of the few I would come back to! The interior is really nice with the coffee shop and the rooftop terrace, perfect for relaxing. The room's layout is nice although the lighting system didn't make much sense to me. The maisonette room leaves lots of room on a relatively small space which I really appreciated. The staff was super friendly and thoughtful. I'd come again anytime, I already recommended it to many of my friends and they have been very satisfied as well."

"Place is located quite in the center, much closer to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City as compared to most other hostels of the similar price range. The owner/staff were extremely friendly, they let me check in early and weren't too picky about check out times either. They let me store my luggage for free. They have AC, a free water dispenser and everything you need, however the quality of the hostel is slightly below average. The common area consists of chairs in the hallway where Chinese men sit and smoke. No kitchen either."

"The location is great, nestled in a small alley right next to Jingshan Park. It's a convenient 10-minute walk to the National Art Museum subway station, and getting around by bike is also very easy. The front desk staff were polite and had a good attitude during check-in; the service quality actually surpassed the hostel's physical facilities. However, the hostel has significant issues with soundproofing and managing guest routines. Around 12:30 AM, two guests were arguing loudly in the hallway for half an hour, apparently due to differing routines, and no staff member was present to manage or de-escalate the situation. Then, around 2:20 AM, a dorm mate returned and started getting ready for bed, completely disregarding other sleeping dorm mates. Their frequent movement, showering, and the noise from an electric toothbrush severely disrupted my sleep! Overall experience: Given the aforementioned issues concerning soundproofing, routine management, and the lack of staff intervention, my actual stay experience fell far below expectations and failed to meet basic accommodation needs. Consequently, I decided to cut my originally planned multi-day stay short after just one night and cancelled the remainder of my booking."
