Hot Springs Hotels in Baoting

"Let me first say, hotels are always looking for a good review, but I will only give a good review if I honestly feel they deserve it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qixian~ the resort grounds are absolutely stunning. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to discover that the resort has been thoughtfully designed to feel part of the rainforest. Everywhere you look there are giant boulders, gurgling clear streams, ancient trees and hidden trails that make you feel you are walking deep in a forest. All you hear are the birds and the water rushing in the streams! We have travelled all over China, and this is the quietest, most authentic feeling nature spot we have ever experienced. In addition, there are so many hot springs you can choose to relax in, or you can use the hot spring attached to your balcony! The restaurant has a good variety and we liked everything we ordered, it was fresh and flavorful, we tried the pork ribs and braised tofu, both delicious, but the green coconut filled buns were a perfect ending! The lobby staff was friendly and helpful, and gave us all kinds of upgrades! You can get pickup on the carts anytime, but we preferred to walk and enjoy the beauty, the resort grounds feel huge, but honestly its well designed so you can reach any spot in 5-10 minutes. Also, they have all kinds of activities you can join. We really enjoyed the rainforest walk, the lady from the Li family that conducted the walk was so lovely, we could tell she really had a connection to the forest and just radiated joy as she showed us all the plants, it was one of the highlights of our stay! Our room was clean, the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The view onto the palm forest was so relaxing to look at as we soaked in the spring. The infinity pool was spectacular, the setting is gorgeous and peaceful. The coconuts and dessert we ordered were really good, however, the drinks we ordered were awful and maybe they can get some more outgoing staff to work at the pool bar, maybe because it was winter time and less people are at the pool? Breakfast is served in a building that overlooks the river, there is ALL kinds of food, if you are a Westerner you can find fried eggs, toast, and pastries. But I recommend going to the area where fresh rice noodle is made for you on the spot, add toppings and fried eggs, it was delicious! There are some rustic areas to the resort- it feels a bit abandoned in areas, like its just too big to keep up with ie. Giant empty pools, some of the buildings look in desperate need of refurbishing, but overall we felt like the resort was truly beautiful and amenities really made this a great value for the price we paid. We are already planning to come back when we need a break from the city!"

It’s so cool! After a day of sightseeing, it is very refreshing to have a bubble bath. The bedding in the room was very clean, and the towels, bathrobes and bathrobes were also very clean. The bath water is very large, and it is said that the bath water is also hot spring water, which is very useful for air conditioning. The breakfast was rich and convenient. There are public hot spring pools and swimming pools in the hotel, as well as a table tennis table. It's very close to Qixianling, just a 10-minute drive away. "The hotel is near Qixianling, surrounded by hot spring hotels. This hotel opened earlier and the facilities are a little old, but the room we stayed in was just renovated and the facilities were OK. The garden is full of betel nut trees, the swimming pool is large and the water is clean. The hot spring pool is separated for men and women, but there are few pools. The breakfast is pretty good, but the cleaning is slow. The overall price/performance ratio is OK"

"I stay here two or three times a year and love the secluded indoor hot spring. Facilities: It shares a hot spring outlet with the neighboring Nanmei Onsen, and the water quality is even better than in Japan. It's a bit dated due to its age, but it's very clean. The only drawback is the lack of a safe. Cleanliness: Better than several of the larger hotels nearby. Environment: A small hotel with a nice courtyard and outdoor hot spring. The pool is a bit small, so it's difficult to swim with three people. Service: You need to drink plenty of water when soaking in the hot springs. Four small bottles of water were not enough, and they didn't provide refills when I asked for them. This is really inconvenient. Currently, no hotel has a limit on bottled water. This needs improvement. Breakfast: We booked breakfast for 68 per person, but due to the low number of guests, the buffet was cancelled and two set menus were served. If you're staying here and paying for your meals, don't order breakfast. I also encountered this problem once at a hotel in Sanya."

"This was the perfect choice for a hot spring trip with my parents. The rooms are quiet, private, and spacious, offering beautiful views. We particularly enjoyed dining at the 8th-floor restaurant; watching the stunning Qixianling mountains while eating truly enhanced the experience. The Cantonese chef at the Chinese restaurant prepared some genuinely delicious dishes. After soaking in the tub on our balcony, simply relaxing with a cup of tea was pure bliss. Overall, we were extremely satisfied."

I couldn't help but take a lot of pictures! The bathroom from the full smart toilet, to the toothbrush to the mirror, etc., there is no place that we don't like and are not surprised! Too many details have been full, and I can't fault it! My old tradition will come to Qixianling to soak in the hot springs every year. I will come to this homestay every year in the future! When will I have to bring my parents and enjoy it!"
