"1. My friends and I were traveling, and they booked this hotel after seeing its good ratings on Trip.com. Initially, I felt a bit uneasy, so I only planned to explore nearby, check out the beach, and go for a swim. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the hotel manager, Vidi, was Chinese. After a few casual chats, we quickly warmed up to each other. He recommended several places to visit and even introduced us to Tom, a local travel agency manager. During the day, we'd go sightseeing, and in the evenings, we'd buy ingredients. Vidi would arrange for the staff to cook for us, and we'd tip the chef. If we got tired of that, we could also order takeout. The hotel also has two Chinese restaurants where you can order dumplings and other Chinese dishes. After all, finding delicious Chinese food abroad is quite rare. Manager Vidi even provided complimentary beer and baijiu (which is hard to find overseas). We enthusiastically invited them to drink and chat with us. This way, we, as Chinese people in a foreign land, experienced a unique sense of camaraderie and liveliness. We didn't feel worried or scared at all. Many Chinese people avoid coming here because they think the Philippines is unsafe now. But after staying at a Chinese-owned hotel in Boracay, we realized how safe it is here. It's a popular tourist destination, and local security is very strict; there's a police officer every few steps on the beach. Moreover, having these Chinese-owned hotels and travel agencies made us feel much more at ease. This saved us a lot of trouble and gave us peace of mind. 2. The hotel staff were also very enthusiastic. Every morning for breakfast (I booked a room with breakfast, and you could choose one out of six options). The beef breakfast was particularly delicious. Locals usually wake up late, and breakfast ends at 10 AM. But since we were Chinese and had become familiar with the staff, a few times I woke up at 11 AM, and they still made breakfast for me, which I then had as lunch. 3. There's a swimming pool downstairs where you can directly swim or dive. Or, you can warm up here before going out for a dive; it seems like this place is originally a diving training spot. 4. I stayed in a room on the second floor with a balcony. 5. In summary, I didn't have high expectations for this trip; I just wanted to see the beach and swim—basically, a vacation. But I ended up meeting many fellow Chinese people here and received excellent service and pleasant surprises. I enjoyed seafood feasts and barbecues and tried various local drinks, most of which Vidi provided for free. It saved us a lot of hassle. The beach is beautiful. I feel that next time I come, accommodation, dining, and transportation will all be hassle-free. I'm someone who takes a while to adjust to new environments. This time, I came with a few friends, and I only planned to stay near the hotel. But I ended up meeting so many people that I became familiar with the entire island."

"The hotel's location is excellent, situated between the 2nd and 3rd stations. It's quieter than being right on the beachfront, yet the beach is still close by, and all amenities are conveniently located. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful with everything, responding promptly to requests, and even assisted with my airport transfer! There's a pool on the 7th floor, which I, funnily enough, never got around to using 🤣. I booked a huge room for myself; it was clean, great, and had everything I needed – the air conditioning worked, there was a safe, a hairdryer, and even a drying rack on the balcony! I'm really glad I stayed here; the price-to-quality ratio is perfect!"

"”I had a generally good experience at the hotel. The staff, in 5th floor waiter/bartender, were very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The hotel's location is great and accessible, and the breakfast was enjoyable. However, I noticed some issues with the bathroom cleanliness. The dental glass had toothpaste residue, the silicon seal had mold and needed replacement, the shower fixtures were dull, and the cabinet under the sink and the floor underneath it were dirty. I pointed these issues out to the reception, and showed the photos, they apologized, but no action taken. Overall, the hotel was fine, and I hope they address these concerns for better service.” 😊"

"My husband and I were extremely happy with our stay at this accommodation in Boracay. From the very beginning, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the hospitality we received was outstanding. The location is exactly as described – very quiet and peaceful, and equipped with all the facilities presented in the listing. The room was spacious, spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a lovely fresh smell. There was no trace of any damp or musty odour; it was clearly well-ventilated and thoroughly cleaned. Everything was impeccable. Each room also has a minibar, which is very convenient if you would like to enjoy drinks or local snacks (available at an additional cost). Breakfast was very tasty, with only a few limitations. You can choose one menu and one drink per person, and not all beverages from the drinks list are included in the complimentary breakfast, but you can order extra items for an additional charge if you wish. We also had lunch at the hotel (paid separately), and the food was delicious and very fresh. The service was excellent, and the reception staff were always available and willing to help. At one point, I got sunburnt, and they kindly offered me after-sun cream free of charge to soothe my skin, which was a truly thoughtful gesture. Overall, everything was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend this place. We were genuinely disappointed that we could not find availability for more nights, as we would have loved to stay longer. The only downside was the sea directly in front of the property, as that area tends to gather a lot of seaweed, making swimming difficult. However, this is easily solved by walking a few minutes towards Station 2, where the water is much clearer and perfect for swimming."

"We lived in the hotel 5 nights. We had a room with ocean view, but the 80% review closed the growing croon of the tree under the window. The management immediately sent the workers to cut the tree and the view was excellent. I would like to mark the transfer option to the beach and to the city mall, at daytime it will close 100% the need for moving. If you climb from the main road on foot to the upper buildings of the hotel, it is a normal cardiosity exercise in general. We liked it, though it seems visually difficult to get up. Older people may be difficult. The breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't immediately understand the girl who explained the dishes selection system to us (you can choose any breakfast from the proposed menu, but in the pancakes/vegan section, breakfast can only be chosen 1 dish). The beach is excellent, especially in the morning when it is empty. Visual colour of the sand is the same as at the first/second station, so it was not particularly meaningful to go to the main tourist site of Borakaya, the beach near the hotel closed all our needs. On the main road near the hotel you can easily find a place for lunch or dinner, separately you want to advise mamas fish house, dlocal snack bar."

"This hotel is absolutely top-tier for its price point. Incredible value for money and a fantastic experience overall. While the location was a bit tricky to find, the hotel offers a wealth of amenities. The pool is great fun. For this price, it's unbeatable, even better than some five-star establishments. Apart from looking a little dated, the overall vibe is excellent, giving off a real resort feel. The breakfast spread is extensive and even better and more varied than what you'd find at five-star hotels, which was a very pleasant surprise. Seriously, at this price, just book it without hesitation."

"Ferra Hotel Boracay is a decent option with a good location. Nothing extraordinary, but it does the job. What really stands out is the staff — genuinely warm, always smiling, and very friendly. It makes the stay more enjoyable than the hotel itself might suggest on paper. A solid pick if you’re looking for a well-located base in Boracay with a welcoming atmosphere."
