"I chose this hotel hoping for a quiet night's sleep, but I barely slept at all. Roosters were crowing all night long from somewhere unclear. The soundproofing in the room was also very poor. Another downside is the uphill walk to the hotel, which would be difficult for older guests. Overall, it's not bad. There's a shared kitchen and a water cooler. Plus, if you're lucky, you might be greeted by a playful dog at reception. However, I wouldn't return. In this price range, you can find many rooms with better living conditions."

"Pros: This is a perfect hotel location. It had a store downstairs and just a few walk from the shore. Staff is friendly and polite. This is a recommended hotel for budget travelers and those who like to spend more on their food than hotel. Cons: Cleanliness needs improvement most especially in the bathroom and toilet seat/cover. Shower head needs cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay! The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The service was excellent and really stood out. While the food selection could be improved with more variety, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We still had a great time and everything else exceeded our expectations. "My stay was honestly good, staffs are friendly and service was good and fast when it comes to requests. I just don't like other staffs who does not greet their guest while others are doing it. I am thankful that my request to have a room with strong internet connection was granted, but I guess it's still subject for availability. I just got disappointed that rooms doesn't have a Smart TV, thou they have cable but I didn't used it since I prefer Youtube on TV. They also don't have dental kit, good thing I brought my own and their swimming pools is up to 8pm only, which is too early. I may add to that they don't have a rooftop for view. Location is great since it's beachfront but it actually takes 15-20mins walk to D'Mall and other establishments, which is a hassle, I thought it's near food and entertainment places. Overall, La Carmela De Boracay is still recommended and a great pace to stay in Boracay, especially if you are on a budget, compared to the other hotels nearby with the same services."

"Booked for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable—definitely worth the price for the service and cleanliness. You won’t feel grossed out by the bathroom floor at all. Our host, Ate Lowi, was incredibly accommodating. She even offered us food and prayed for our safe travels. Out of all the hotels and transients we’ve stayed at, Ate Lowi was the only one who welcomed us with such warmth, like family. So go ahead and book your stay—it’s truly worth your money! "I am generally pleased and satisfied with my stay at Nigi Nigi Too. The staff and cleaners are friendly and attentive. When booking at this hotel, here are a few things to keep in consider: - The standard room doesn’t have a refrigerator. Instead, there’s a large refrigerator available for everyone to use on the first floor. - Free drinking water is also available on the second floor for everyone to use. - The hotel only provides mugs inside the room, so it’s a good idea to bring your own water container or thumbler. - There’s no cabinet to store your clothes, but there’s a designated area where you can lay them out. - Hangers are included in the room. - I was provided with two bath towels. - You can always request to clean your room during the makeup room hours. - There’s no elevator, so if you’re staying on the third floor, you’ll have to take the stairs. The room is well-equipped with a functional air conditioning system, a TV, a lampshade with a small table and two chairs, and a clean, unclogged bathroom. The bathroom also features a working water heater, a bidet, and a lavatory with complimentary dental kits. Additionally, they provide body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. The WIFI works perfecty fine too. You can always request a beach towel daily. However, slippers are not provided during my stay. The breakfast is excellent. As a solo traveler, I booked a room that accommodates two people, but I was still able to receive two breakfast meals per day. My room is located on the third floor, at the very end of the building in the resort. I highly recommend booking a room on the second floor. You’ll be conveniently close to the water dispenser and the first floor. Additionally, it’s just a minute’s walk to the beautiful white beach. There’s a bar at the hotel entrance, so it might get quite noisy at night. The walkway to the end building is beautiful; it’s like walking through a garden. The rates at trip.com is cheaper rather than booking direct at the hotel. Overall I am happy with my stay will sure keep this hotel in mind when i plan to go back to Boracay. "On a positive note, the hotel and the surroundings were clean, and the staff welcomed us warmly upon arrival. The breakfast and food selection were also very good. However, we noticed that the coffee and hot chocolate were served cold, even though they were supposed to be hot. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with several amenities that were advertised but not available during our stay. The swimming pool was not functioning due to a defective filter. When we asked about canceling our booking or receiving a discount, we were told this was not possible because the booking was made online. As an alternative, we were offered access to the pool and open the bubbler. However, when we attempted to use it after our water and land activities, we were informed that the operator was no longer at the hotel and no staff member knew how to operate it at that time. On our second day, we also tried to use the free shuttle service advertised by the hotel, but we were told that the driver was on a day off. Sadly, we were unable to use several amenities that were promoted online, which significantly affected our overall experience. We hope this feedback helps improve services for future guests and that clearer information about amenity availability is provided."
