I love the location, a commanding height at Lushan's Yangtianping, with unparalleled views! This sense of close proximity to nature is a luxury you simply can't experience in city hotels. The hot springs were wonderful. At night, soaking in the 40-degree springs, feeling the mountain breeze, was a relaxing experience. The hotel was very considerate: hot ginger tea, non-slip slippers, and waiters always provided bath towels by the pool. The dining options also exceeded my expectations. I expected limited options at the top of the mountain, but the local rice noodles and freshly ground soy milk for breakfast were authentic. For dinner, I ordered the stone chicken (a Lushan specialty frog), and the butler went out of his way to inquire about my preferences. I highly recommend the ”privately prepared beef ribs.” The hotel is also very family-friendly and attentive. With my five-year-old, the hotel had already placed building blocks and picture books in the children's area, and even provided a complimentary cartoon toiletry bag. The children's meals were nutritious (less salt and oil), and they even provided children's tableware—a level of detail rarely seen in resort hotels. The only minor drawback is that the road up the mountain has a steep curve, so a four-wheel drive is recommended for self-driving (the hotel can arrange transfers, but reservations are required). However, this also helps to screen out noisy tourists, preserving the hotel's elegance and privacy."

The waiter at the front desk is very enthusiastic and responds quickly to requests for pillows and hangers. The sanitary conditions are not bad compared to other homestays on the mountain. At least the room does not smell musty. The only disadvantage may be that the nearby area is not as lively as the main street, but this is also its advantage, it is relatively quiet. However, this time when I came to Lushan, I stayed in two hotels, and it seemed that neither of them was very soundproof. This one was slightly better. "We took the scenic bus to Mount Lushan around 7 PM and got off at the Transportation Management Office station. After calling the dealer, they immediately picked us up. The GL8 was large and comfortable. The location was okay, though it wasn't directly on the main street. It took a 10-minute walk to the main street, but the busiest main street was about another 5 minutes away. I was fine walking around on the first day, but after climbing San Diequan on the second day, my legs were sore I barely had the strength to walk. We booked a tatami room. Upon check-in, the dealer, seeing that there were three of us, told us the bed was 1.2 meters long and couldn't accommodate an extra futon. We didn't plan to add one, and we shared the bed with our child. The mattress was thick and comfortable, and the room was brightly lit. The room was on the fourth floor, with an elevator. The window overlooked the building, and the curtains were always drawn, preventing a view. Of course, the window was covered, as stated in the booking. The soundproofing was poor. The room was very clean, but if someone used the water in the shower, it would affect the water level. We stayed two nights and checked out early at 8:00 a.m. to head down the mountain. The hotel drove us to the bus stop at Xiaotianchi Station, about a 10-minute walk. It's important to note that although it's called a hotel, it's not a guesthouse; it's a B&B. Many hotels on Lushan Mountain are like this, so if you're bothered by this, it's better to book a chain hotel. After all, the service at a real hotel is different. We liked hotels with self-service laundry facilities because it was so hot and we were soaking wet after a day out, so we wanted to wash our clothes. It didn't matter to us since we were heading back home after checking out. Overall, we were very satisfied."
