Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the Zhanjiang Hai Bin Hotel (Zhanjiang Haibin Binguan) is situated in Zhanjiang Bay, overlooking Yugang Park and offering a great coastal holiday getaway. The Chinese garden-style grounds of this hotel are dotted with many kinds of rare trees, flowers and subtropical fruit trees, and provide the perfect backdrop, and contrast, for the Spanish-style guest houses and villas. Rooms in this Zhanjiang hotel all come equipped with patio doors, balconies, wall-mounted flat screen TVs and splendid views. The on-site restaurants serve authentic Chinese and Western cuisines in excellent surroundings, while a coffee shop and bar offer the perfect opportunity for guests to kick back and soak up the beautiful grounds. The international conference hall is outfitted with sophisticated audiovisual and simultaneous interpretation systems. Also there are several small and medium-sized conference rooms available for the business traveler. An afternoon spent walking around the resort or soaking up the rays, is a pleasurable way to relax, but those looking for extra recreational activities won’t be disappointed. Boasting a number of outdoor landscaped pools and a themed mini water park, there is plenty to keep the whole family occupied. Parents who want to indulge in some pure relaxation, can enjoy the sauna, massage and spa facilities, while first class tennis courts provide an option for sports fans.
"The room met expectations for its price point and offered a good selection of pillows. Breakfast was decent, though I wish there were more varieties of meat and fruit. There was a book in the room detailing the hotel's history and local attractions. However, it's a pity that historically significant buildings like buildings 7, 8, and 9 are not open to the public. This is particularly disappointing as building 8 is described as the hotel's historical exhibition hall and building 9 as a special exhibition called 'Forever Memories'. As a part of a 4A-rated scenic area, I believe these should be accessible to visitors. It would be even better if all buildings with special status or significance, such as building 7, could be opened for public viewing on weekdays, provided it doesn't disrupt their operations. The hot springs were a highlight, offering a rich variety including unique volcanic and basalt pools, various herbal pools, as well as wet and dry saunas, a fish spa, and massage pools. Resorts at similar price points elsewhere rarely offer such comprehensive facilities, which is definitely a plus!"
