"Very good location however was quite super noisy in the middle of the night. The neighbors or someone outside watched some YouTube video with full speaker and it woke up me several times at night. I stayed only 1 night so I can not tell if i was unlucky or if it is often like that"

"Hotel is so close to airport around 7 mins walk plus the ambiance of hotel was fantastic. It's clean and beautiful old hotel. Carpet was annoying with luggage but other than that enjoyed my stay. They have free shuttle service and breakfast which is good. Also It's conveniently located close to restaurant and grocery stores. Highly recommended if looking for a place to stay for an early flight back home."

"A wonderful hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts are excellent with a great variety of options. I would like to thank all the staff, everyone is very kind and always ready to help. Although the hotel is not located in the very center, there is a free shuttle every hour to the night market which is very convenient. Highly recommend this place."

"Delicious breakfast and excellent location right by the river. You can see Thailand from the window. It's quiet at night. The room is quite small and dark — more electric light would be nice. Water pressure is good, and there's stable hot water. Wi-Fi works fine, even enough for watching videos. There's a large desk, which is great for working. Our room had a connecting door to the neighboring room. Although it was locked, sound insulation was very poor — we could hear everything. This is a major downside. Overall, it's a decent place to stay for 1–2 nights, but there are some issues that might be unacceptable for certain travelers."

"The Marlin Vientiane is very well located, and the room facilities as well as the pool area are quite nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, that is where the positive aspects end. The breakfast service is a complete disaster. Around 10:00 a.m. (breakfast is officially served until 10:30 a.m.), the buffet was already completely empty. What remained was old, dried-out cold cuts and cheese that looked far from fresh and clearly unhygienic. The overall cleanliness of the breakfast area was very poor and far below any acceptable standard. Communication within the breakfast area was nonexistent. The staff did not seem to coordinate with each other at all, and English communication was practically impossible. It gave the impression that management does not care about the food and beverage operation at all. Shortly after this breakfast experience, I became seriously ill with gastrointestinal symptoms, which strongly suggests a hygiene-related issue. While the hotel offers good comfort and an excellent location, a basic level of cleanliness and food safety should be expected—especially when it comes to breakfast. Due to this experience, I cannot recommend staying at this hotel."

"The stay was pretty good. Breakfast was a self-service buffet. Cleanliness was acceptable. The highlight is the hotel's excellent location, right next to the Parkson shopping mall. It's very convenient to get to different places, and the bus station is just on the next street. Even when returning late, the surrounding area is well-lit and lively. The location is truly fantastic."

"We had a wonderful experience at the Riverside Hotel. The check-in process was very smooth and efficient, and the staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. They kindly helped us with our luggage, which made everything even more comfortable. The room was modern, spotless, and very well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, and we slept very well during our stay. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of Western, Lao, and other Asian dishes. There was something for everyone, and everything was fresh and delicious. We also really appreciated the hotel’s location, conveniently situated near the night market, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again!"

When you compare the cost to the high quality of the facilities, the beautiful modern decor, and the top-tier service you receive, it is an absolute steal Exceptional Service & Staff: The absolute highlight of my stay was the team. The staff members are incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. The overall service throughout my stay was very good, making me feel right at home. The Room: As you can see from my photos, the rooms are exceptionally modern, spacious, and spotless. The light-wood design gives it a very clean, calming vibe. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the flat-screen TV is massive, and having a private balcony with seating looking out over the Mekong River is just fantastic. Outstanding Facilities: The hotel amenities are top-notch. The rooftop area is stunning, featuring a beautiful pool and a huge outdoor lounge space (complete with a swing chair!) offering panoramic views of the river. It’s the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset. They also have a bright, well-equipped fitness center and a brilliant, clean self-service laundry room with modern LG washers and dryers—a huge convenience for travelers. Great Breakfast: I didn't manage to snap any photos of the breakfast section while I was there, but it is definitely worth mentioning! The breakfast provided is very good and the perfect way to start your day before exploring the city. If you are visiting Vientiane, this hotel is a fantastic choice. You get beautiful views, wonderful amenities, truly outstanding hospitality, and unbeatable value for your money"

"The room was clean, and the facilities were new. The front desk staff was very friendly. It would be even better if they spoke Chinese."
