"The hotel's photos online really don't do it justice. This place is amazing! The only minor drawback is the soundproofing in the wooden bungalows – but that's just the nature of wooden structures, so it's understandable. Otherwise, for a resort hotel, everything is absolutely perfect. The environmental design is excellent, the food is good, the staff are very professional, and the hotel gardens are beautiful. I regret not booking a longer stay and will definitely come back if I get the chance. The white sand beach is also stunning, and the sunsets are breathtaking."

"I recently had an incredible two-night stay at Resorts World Langkawi and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was outstanding right from the start because the security team at the private entrance made us feel incredibly safe. Every staff member we encountered was remarkably friendly and accommodating. Our sea view room was a major highlight with stunning views of the water directly from the balcony. The hotel dining is top-notch including a fantastic Indian-Pakistani and Middle Eastern restaurant that I highly recommend. We also spent time at the Salt Shack Bar enjoying their great menu of pizzas and steaks alongside very affordable beverages. The evenings there are truly special since an amazing live duo performs Tuesday through Sunday. Their music created a wonderful atmosphere and gave us a night to remember. The entire management team does an amazing job and we will absolutely return to Langkawi just for this hospitality."

"A Beautiful Family Stay with Thoughtful Hospitality & Memorable Experiences We had a beautiful stay at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, where we booked a two-bedroom ocean-view suite and visited with our parents. From the thoughtful little details to the genuinely warm hospitality, there were many moments that made our stay special. It was my father’s birthday during our stay, and we had requested a special welcome for him when we checked in. The team went above and beyond with a personalised note, a tasteful balloon and paper birthday decorations on the bed, along with a vegan chocolate cake that was absolutely delicious — incredibly creamy and simply melted in our mouths. It was such a lovely surprise and a wonderful way to begin our stay. The entire team was very warm, supportive and accommodating throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach-facing pool, the beautiful beach and the breathtaking views around the resort. On our last day, both rooms in our suite had been thoughtfully prepared with a beautiful local flower tea setup on the beds along with pillow mists. These little touches really made us feel cared for. We also had a small unexpected situation on our last evening, and what stood out to us was not the situation itself, but the way the team handled it. The housekeeping team had inadvertently picked up my mother’s phone, and once the mix-up was realised, it was immediately handed over to the housekeeping manager. We were understandably quite taken aback initially, but the management handled the matter with genuine concern and gave us a very heartfelt apology. It was clear that it had been an honest mistake and that the team genuinely cared about how we felt. Fakhruddin, the housekeeping manager, went a step further and personally gave my father a lovely luxury bath and body set as an apology. We initially thought we wouldn't be able to carry it on our flight and had to leave it behind, but after reaching the airport and confirming that we could take it with us on our domestic flight, we called Fakhruddin. He personally arranged for someone to bring the gift pack all the way to the airport for us. That level of effort and personal involvement truly deserves appreciation. Beyond the resort itself, we also had some wonderful experiences nearby. The fire show by Budak Api Movement at Hidden Cafe, right next to the resort, was mesmerising. We simply walked down the beach at night and enjoyed the show — such a memorable experience. We also enjoyed a fine-dining experience at Lancava. The food was prepared fresh with so much care in the live open kitchen. We were asked about our dietary preferences right at the entrance, and within minutes we were seated at a beautifully set table and served exceptionally well-crafted vegetarian dishes. The attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast at Cassia was also enjoyable, with a decent selection of vegetarian and vegan options. One area we feel could be improved, however, is the Indian food. Although there is a separate Indian food counter, we found that the dishes were quite far from authentic Indian flavours. For Indian guests, this could be disappointing, and we would definitely recommend expanding the Indian selection while also working on making the existing dishes more authentic. Overall, our stay was filled with beautiful moments, thoughtful surprises and genuinely caring hospitality. The resort has a wonderful location, beautiful views, great facilities and, most importantly, a team that clearly makes an effort to make guests feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at PARKROYAL Langkawi and would happily return."

"This is an excellent, slightly secluded hotel with its own large beach area, located at the end of a long sand spit. It boasts a gorgeous green territory and a huge pool with 4 sections, including one that's 2.5m deep. Breakfasts are decent, but there's not much meat – only chicken ham and sausages. Plenty of fruits are available, but they're simple ones like watermelon, melon, apples, and pineapple. There was some minor noise disturbance from a construction site next to the hotel. The rooms and furniture are a bit old but functional. The furniture is worn out. Across from the hotel is the fantastic Cactus cafe, where everything is delicious, from barracuda to spaghetti bolognese."

"A Perfect Getaway From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless, enhanced by refreshing cold towels and a delicious welcome drink. Our room was stunning (Encina), conveniently located on the ground floor with easy access to both the pool and the beach. The amenities were excellent—thoughtful touches like jars of roasted peanuts and cookies (which were replenished daily) made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies available in the lounge throughout the day (though I don’t recall the exact schedule). The location was ideal, with plenty of shopping options just a short walk away. Now, onto the food—breakfast was a highlight! We tried a variety of dishes, including eggs, hot oatmeal, blueberry pancakes, whole wheat French toast, chicken wraps, and the standout quesadillas—absolutely delicious! What truly set Casa Del Mar apart, was the staff. They were consistently warm, friendly, and eager to assist, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. For outstanding service, hospitality, quality food, and a prime location, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a gem!"

"The service was enthusiastic, but the facilities were old and the room was small. The fridge was full of water and mold, and the kettle was leaking. Breakfast was terrible, with limited options and the worst quality I've ever had in a hotel. The ingredients were extremely poor. Even the fruit was tasteless and not sweet; the pineapple was so sour it was inedible, the waffles tasted sour, and the only vegetable was stir-fried cabbage. There was absolutely nothing redeemable about it. The only edible items were the freshly made paratha and omelets."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mali Best Hotel in Langkawi with our family. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Langkawi!"

"The hotel is simply magnificent. The view from the room is splendid, the staff are friendly, and the room is clean with thoughtful amenities for a comfortable stay. The beach is excellent, and it's great that the hotel staff clean it every morning, as waves can bring in debris. The sea is wonderful, calm with no significant waves, perfect for a relaxing swim. The hotel also has two pools, suitable for children. The breakfasts are fantastic. We booked a room with a sea view, and the view is indeed impressive. What could be improved: installing YouTube on the TV. Overall, my impressions of the hotel stay are only positive :)"

"I absolutely loved the hotel's natural environment. We saw a family of dusky leaf monkeys near our room's balcony, as well as large black squirrels. Hummingbirds frequently visited the balcony garden, and we even spotted greater racket-tailed drongos flying by. On our way back to the room after breakfast, we saw a lizard busily eating in a tree hollow. By the pool, we observed a family of oriental pied hornbills. We were even lucky enough to spot a family of wreathed hornbills on our way to the Thai restaurant. The scenery near the Thai restaurant is beautiful, and we saw white-bellied sea eagles catching fish and brahminy kites soaring over the sea. We joined the hotel's night walk and, led by our guide, saw a mother colugo with her baby, some gliding from tree to tree. We also saw fruit bats, scorpions, dusky leaf monkeys, squirrels, Tokay geckos, oriental pied hornbills, and more. The guide gave us detailed explanations of their habits, which was fascinating. The next morning, we went birdwatching and encountered the same guide. He actually remembered that we really wanted to find a Draco lizard yesterday and asked if we had found one. With his help, we finally found this flying lizard! We are so grateful to him!"

"The hotel environment is excellent, with its own private beach and a large swimming pool. The architecture is unique, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though some minor details could be improved. Its location is a bit secluded, but it's not far from the airport and very close to Oriental Village and the Panorama Langkawi. There aren't many dining options around the hotel, but I tried all three main restaurants and highly recommend the Italian one. The breakfast buffet was a bit unremarkable, but the à la carte menu was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict, and Roti Canai from the à la carte. They also have a great selection of coffee; I recommend the Flat White and Latte! Oh, and don't forget to take a walk on the beach at night and look up at the incredible starry sky!"
