"I booked accommodation for a trip to Chungju with my husband.
As soon as our car arrived, the hotel manager came out immediately to confirm our reservation and checked us in.
When we entered the room, the facilities were clean and stylish, the size was just right, and most importantly, the bedding set was excellent.
They even thoughtfully prepared a hair straightener, hairdryer, and hair rollers.
Since we were traveling to Jecheon the next day, we booked the same hotel (a chain), but this one was so much better in comparison.
I highly recommend Brown Dot Chungju City Hall Branch!!
The parking lot wasn't very spacious, but the manager came out right away and parked our car, so we weren't worried. I would love to stay here again next time."

"저 원래 숙소 리뷰 안남기는데 너무 저렴한 가격이 깨끗한 숙소에 묵고가서 리뷰 남겨요! 가족여행으로 급하게 잡았는데 담배냄새 하나도 안나고 침구도 뽀송하고 곰팡이 냄새도 안나요!! 다인원 숙소를 찾는다면 더 추천합니다. 다만 기차가 지나가서 한 두 번은 시끄러울 수 있지만 외각 쪽이라 조용해서 나쁘지 않아요. 아 그리고 화장실이 불투명해서 조금 민멍할 순 있어요"

"A good motel in the center. Locals use it as an hourly hotel for meetings. Of the minuses - mold in the bathroom under the window, no breakfast, despite the fact that it is included in the price of the room. At the same time, if you book through Koreans, then every morning they hang a sandwich and juice on the door"

"Ramada Chungju Suanbo Hotel counter service is friendly and responds quickly. It's quiet and comfortable, so I like it. The breakfast is neat and delicious, so the adults are satisfied. If there's anything lacking, it's that the cleanliness is a bit lacking. There was a lot of dust on the bedside table, TV sheet, etc., so I had to wipe it with a wet tissue for a long time. Since it's winter, you shouldn't expect underfloor heating. They say they provide heating, but it's always air-conditioned, so I had to wake up several times in the morning to the cold coming up from under the bed. As for the underfloor heating, it's cold in the morning, so I called the counter and they said they would raise the heating temperature over the phone, but that's not something that can be solved in reality."

"I stayed at the pet room on the 7th floor.
Overall, it was clean.
The floor heating was so warm that the indoor air felt stuffy in the evening.
Even though it is a pet room, there was no unpleasant smell or flying fur.
The non-slip surface on the provided staff was peeling off, making it slippery, and
there were some minor stains on the bedding (it felt like they didn't come out even after washing?),
but the overall condition was good.
There are no spare pads, so please bring plenty of potty pads.
The convenience store on the B1 floor operates unmanned after 11 PM (no alcohol purchases allowed).
There are 5 to 6 pet-only wagons in the 1st-floor lobby.
Two out of three elevators are operated as pet-only (or dual-use?).
Early check-in before 3 PM is difficult (due to room cleaning).
Since it is located more than 30 minutes away from the city center, please bring plenty of food. There are 2 or 3 convenience stores and restaurants, including a hangover soup place, within a 5-minute drive.

"오래된 호텔이지만 룸은 리모델링되어 깨끗한 느낌을 받습니다. 위치도 좋습니다. 다만 중앙난방식 난방이라서 개별난방이 안 됩니다. 더워서 제대로 잠을 못 잤습니다. 그래서 문을 활짝 열어두니 차 지나가는 소리가 너무나 시끄럽네요. 또한, 둘째날부터 화장실에 담배냄새가 너무 심해서 프런트에 전화해 보니 전객실 금연석이라고 하는데 두번 다시 경험하고 싶지 않네요. 화장실에 환풍기도 전혀 작동 안 합니다. 리모델링된 것 치고는 반쪽짜리네요. 나름 충주시내에서 큰 호텔이고 역사도 있어 기대했는데 실망했습니다."

"This was the most amazing hotel of my entire trip to Korea, but I was initially worried because it had two listings on different booking platforms. After comparing the address and street view photos, I confirmed that the one on Trip.com was correct.
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The basement level offers instant noodles (with a noodle maker, super convenient!) and coffee.
A simple breakfast is included with the accommodation: toast, cereal, orange juice, milk, and a boiled egg.
The room was fully equipped with amenities, including bathrobes. The bathroom had a bidet toilet, shower, and bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak."

suewangbjNewly renovated motel. There are many car repair shops around. There is a CU convenience store with limited selection. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. There is no restaurant so no meals are served. However, there is a small restaurant on the first floor that provides instant noodles, coffee and toast.
Taking children to participate in basketball games, the organizers recommend staying here. If it is really for tourism, it is not recommended to go to Chungju, it is too desolate. If you are on a business trip, it is recommended to stay in the Chungcheongbuk-do area, which is more lively and convenient.

I stopped by while looking for a good value for money hotel, but the bedding was so clean. The location is not very good, but it wasn't a big problem because it was moving by car anyway.

The parking lot is spacious. Hot water comes out well. Ramen. Toast. Coffee. You can eat breakfast or dinner. It's made of film by the window, so you can't see it outside, but the weather is cold, so a cool wind comes in from the window.
I think it would be nice to cover if there is a curtain

- the staff welcome. Although we had a reservation with its number and booking card in Korea. The person at the hotel didn't want to give us a room. I have insisted strongly and even presented my passport so that the reservation was there at once.
- We would like to put our bikes in the room and although the regulation allows it, the same person at the reception did not want it.
- We would have liked big towels
- We'd love to have glasses

I was here for a business trip in the hot spring village. The hotel gave me a 5,000 won voucher, and the sulfur bath outside was 8,000 won. Breakfast was filling, with free eggs, milk, sandwiches, and orange juice – pretty good for complimentary items! It might be a bit difficult to get here without a car, as it's located in a small village.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Mari. Comfortable and clean room, with a nice breakfast option downstairs. Was able to store our cycles in the car park. Staff were pleasant. Would recommend.

와온At first, I was confused when I saw the signboard or the entrance to the unmanned hotel.
There is a separate underground parking lot. There is only one entrance and exit.
The room is clean with so-so bedding.
The breakfast was unexpected and so delicious. Soup, bread, fried egg, fresh shredded cabbage~ Homemade kimbap 👍
There is a convenience store nearby. When you come out, there is a loach stew restaurant on the left.
There is also samgyetang, which is delicious. Radish kimchi is so delicious. It was a delicious restaurant. It's 24 hours. I had a good rest.

Guest UserThis was my accommodation after hiking Mt. Wolak's Crocodile Peak during a spontaneous holiday trip. I booked it for a low price, so I didn't have high expectations, but it was pleasantly clean and comfortable. The Suanbo Hot Springs were, of course, excellent.
I was a bit tired on my third day of travel, but after a half-bath, I felt much better. There's a nearby oden bar perfect for evening drinks and a delicious chicken restaurant, so it was a great place to grab a bite. I'd love to come back again.
