Hotels in New Luosiwan area, Kunming

This hotel is located in a building which has to share elevators with others floors. It makes me feel not safe. Not much things around this hotel to eat or see, you have to take 30 minutes subway to downtown or attractions. Taking about the room, it’s big and new with voice commands. However, the voice commands control the air conditioner which makes me crazy. You have to say the correct words to control it. After I checked in, I have tried many times to operate the air conditioner but it did not work for me. I called the front desk, they send people to control but still didn’t work. After many times trying, he figured out the correct words to say. OMG… if you don’t speak mandarin, don’t stay here. Another big problem is cleaning, see the pictures that I posted, they never clean the floor. I never heard sound of vacuum, the floor still dirty as the first day I checked in. The breakfast is simple but cold, even in the heater. Don’t know why. Overall, it is okay if you don’t mind the problems that I mentioned.

Environment and location: The surrounding environment of the hotel is quiet, very close to Luojiwan, Dianchi Lake, Dounan Flower Market, close to the subway station, convenient transportation, there are supermarkets and snack streets downstairs, very convenient. The hotel environment is very comfortable, the decoration style is simple, the room has no smell, and the air is fresh. Service quality: The front desk staff is particularly enthusiastic, professional and meticulous, can solve my needs very well, the attitude is also very good, the room sister is also very good, the service is very satisfactory. Facilities and sanitation: The room is fully equipped and new, the bedding is comfortable, the pillows are very comfortable, I especially like it, the bathroom is also very clean and tidy. Parking is free and convenient, and the overall sanitary conditions are good. The laundry room is particularly complete. The most satisfying thing is the screen projection, especially clear, and the viewing effect is very good! In general, it is a very satisfying stay experience, and I will choose this hotel next time.

I didn't realize when I booked, but I reserved a windowless room. The front desk lady kindly pointed it out during check-in, which was very thoughtful. The room was very clean and hygienic, and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel also provides free disposable bath towels and regular towels, and the quality was surprisingly good. Environment: Interesting; there were pineapples in the elevator, which I specifically asked about to determine if they were for deodorizing. The provided Mlily mattress was so soft, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. The soundproofing was also superb; with the door closed, you couldn't hear any outside noise. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, high-quality fixtures, and the toiletries had a wonderful fragrance. Even the hairdryer was powerful – attention to detail was impeccable. The common areas and dining options were further enhanced. The rooftop garden, a popular spot for afternoon tea, was perfect for chatting and taking photos while enjoying the Kunming evening breeze. The breakfast selection was amazing, with both Chinese and Western options. The freshly cooked Yunnan-style rice noodles had an incredibly delicious broth, and you could add as many toppings as you wanted. Breakfast was served until 11 am, perfect for those who like to sleep in. A gym, self-service laundry, and children's playground were all available, catering to both families with children and business travelers. With its comprehensive facilities, it's a great choice for travelers.

The environment is very good. The sheets and bathroom are very clean. The boss is also very enthusiastic. The front desk lady is very patient. The hotel is very close to the station and the transportation is relatively convenient. If you want to go to places far away such as Shilin that require a car, it will be more convenient. If you want to go to the city center, it is also very close to the subway.

I recently traveled to Kunming for work and chose the Hanting Kunming Xinluosiwan South Bus Station Hotel, and the experience was superb! Location-wise, it's situated in the heart of Asia's largest small commodity market, right next to the Xinluosiwan Commercial City, making shopping incredibly convenient. The South Bus Station is also nearby, a 15-minute walk away, and Metro Line 4 is a 3-minute walk away, making it super quick to get to the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center or Kunming South Railway Station. Whether it's getting around or finding good food, everything is easily managed. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, quickly processing my check-in and promptly addressing any needs. Even the cleaning lady at the elevator greeted me with a smile and enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants. The zero-pressure mattress in the room was incredibly comfortable; after a long day of travel, I could finally get a good night's sleep. The temperature-controlled shower made showering a pleasant experience. The hotel also has a self-service breakfast restaurant, a laundry room, and a lobby book bar. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, the laundry room solved my laundry needs, and the book bar allowed me to enjoy quiet reading time in my spare time. Next time I come to Kunming, I'll definitely choose this place again!
