Lijiang Ancient Town - Green Willows Inn.

The location is incredibly strategic, right in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town. Convenience stores and restaurants are only a short walk away, making it easy to pick up anything you need. The accommodation is beautiful, especially the view from the second floor. The in-room smart toilet is also a thoughtful touch that adds extra comfort during the stay. But what truly made our experience exceptional was our host, Ayu. What started as a simple host–guest relationship quickly turned into a genuine friendship. We never expected to meet someone so warm, kind, and sincere. His hospitality went far beyond what we’ve ever experienced. He truly made us feel at home. Ayu made the trip unforgettable, and I would happily return to Lijiang very soon because of him. For anyone visiting Lijiang, I highly recommend this B&B and be sure to reach out to Ayu if you want an experience filled with warmth and incredible hospitality. This is also one of the reasons why i think Lijiang is the best city out of all the 4 cities (Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-la, Kunming) I went to.

Location was good. Bus station and taxi stop were just 3 minutes walking distance from the back entrance. There were many restaurants and 7-11 nearby as well. The only downside - facilities were not well maintained, room looks old and there was mold in the toilet.

What a gem!! This hotel is right smack in the old town but near enough to the main road for easy transportation. Love the room - it has a bath, shower, and lo & behold, a bidet!!! Everything is within a walking distance, plus it has an awesome view of the mountains from the rooftop! Definitely worth staying here! ❤️

We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were extremely helpful and even waited for us at the main road to guide us in. The location is excellent – very convenient and close to the main road, so it was easy to bring our luggage. It’s also within walking distance to many halal restaurants, which was a big plus for us. Our room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, and the toilet had a bidet. The only minor issue was with the water temperature – it was sometimes difficult to control, often coming out very hot. Overall, a great stay with wonderful service and a convenient location. Highly recommended.

The property was not well maintain. The toilet bowl was unable to flow. Toilet paper prohibited to fluid in the toilet bowl. Service staff unable to provide requested items as toilet paper and clothes washing detergent in time.
