overall was a good experience, with nice courtyard and location. Room was basic but ok, breakfast was very simple.
I liked the spaces around and exteriors such as the balcony and rooftop spaces.
Service could improve from the younger staff but both two elderly members were so caring and fantastic. They were so kind and nice on arrival, caring about when we arrive and preparing the room in advance.

We loved this cozy little inn right in the middle of Shuhe old town! We stayed in the family suite on the 2nd floor which was two rooms. The living room looked out onto the courtyard which was really lovely - fish pond with lots of flowers. But even the smaller rooms would have been perfect. The owner has put a lot of attention into the decoration. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Best value hotel that we have had our whole 3-week Yunnan trip! We liked it so much we stayed a 3rd night after hiking Tiger Leaping Gorge. Breakfast was good - rice noodles with side dishes. The beds are a little on the hard side but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend this small family inn! It is a great way to experience Shuhe.

We fall in love with the hotel the moment we step in. Our lady host is a very helpful and cheerful. She shared a lot of useful and important information about the places to eat and visit. Her recommendations are so accurate. The rooms are so clean. Amenities are excellent. And her helper is a very cheerful and helpful. Shuhe is a very pretty and peaceful town. We really enjoyed our stay. We will come back to stay at Lijiang Tea Wood Inn.

The owner was so sweet and gave us a free upgrade. She gave us a lot of suggestions and she took so good care of us, better than several mothers:)
The hotel's location was perfect in Shuhe's old town. It's so special because it's a shop selling wood art crafts as well as a guesthouse with several rooms.
The included breakfast was lovely and delicious. It's weird to say, however, it's true that I had my best rice noodles in the entire Yunan here.
I would recommend this place to anyone;)
