The washroom is bad, with a malfunctioning flush button. No towel provided, unless you buy from them for 5 pounds. Staff is nice and the location is fine. But there are definately better choices for this price point.

The best hostel in London. I would like to thank Mr. Zane and Mr. Anderson for the exceptional service and the early check-in. I had a midnight long flight. I had arrived in London very early in the morning, and it was the only hostel that agreed to check me in at that time. The bed was very comfortable as well, and the room was very clean! The HSK department does an excellent job. Convenient location! 27/03/2025

matthew abd zaen were amazing and helped me through a tricky situation very professionally. had a very polite tone and were patient. The room was comfy and clean and the whole hostel had its own vibe. The location is very convinient as there are shops nearby

Lovely place in London, few minutes walk from elephant and castle tube station. Lovely building and staff are great just roasting in the room! After it cooled down it was absolutely fine :) Nice bars and restaurants nearby as well that aren’t all at London prices

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay here. If I ever come back to London I will definitely stay here again, especially because of the affordable price.

Good rooms, great price and location, and incredible service. The front desk people really helped me out and let me book even after it was too late for that night (I didn’t have another place to go so that was a lifesaver). Highly recommend if you need a cheap place for a few nights in London.

I stayed here in March 1989 for 2 weeks, exploring London and going on day trips. I had complaints, but I was mostly happy staying in such an interesting building. This was when it was called Driscoll house, run in person by Mr. Driscoll. Two meals included each day and they were good, especially breakfast. I don't recall it ever being noisy, and I'm a light skeeper. The area behind the Driscoll House looked like it had been bombed, I had to put my suitcase under the mattress to keep from rolling off, there was barbed wire on the front perimeter, and the walk back from the tube after dark was a bit scary, but, I have terrific memories and enjoyed my stay there. Sounds like the neighborhood has gotten better, but a shame about the hostel itself.

The location is good and the staff is friendly. I gave it 3 stars because I had to change rooms due to a lack of clean beds. The rooms are too small and the beds are uncomfortable. Additionally, there are 2- or 3-tier beds that wobble badly when someone climbs to the upper level.
