"very good! The most satisfying hotel in Muscat. Newly opened, very clean, very spacious, almost 100 square meters in size. The most important thing is that the kitchen and laundry room are very practical, allowing us to make and eat dumplings during the winter solstice. The facilities are very complete. The only thing that can be improved is that I hope that the dishwasher cleaning blocks can be provided in time next time. Recommended to stay a few more days!"

"It was unfortunate we couldn’t get to check in earlier because we arrived earlier so we stayed at the lobby for 9-10 hours despite many emails sent to give them a heads up. Overall our stay was decent. Breakfast was good and service was good too."

"We had an amazing stay at Sheraton!From the moment we arrived, Janat and the other staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to major attractions and great restaurants. My kids especially loved the breakfast buffet😁
Overall, I highly recommend Sheraton to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!"

"酒店位於馬斯喀特港，出門就是波斯灣的阿曼海，一個巨型的“c”型灣，步行不足500米就是“老馬託拉集市”，很不起眼的一個地方，若不是門牌寫着集市名稱，根本就看不出來；再步行150米左右，就是著名的“穆特拉城堡”。
酒店設施一般，不提供拖鞋、牙膏牙刷和刮鬍刀🪒，早餐不錯，都是現做的早餐，一人一份，很棒！
目測這個地方似乎衹有這一家酒店，適合在這裏住一晚。"

"This hotel in Muscat is quite new. I stayed there for 2 nights. It is about 30 kilometers from the airport and is moderately priced.
The room is not too big or too small, but it is really expensive to add breakfast."

GGuest UserDisappointing week in a disappointing hotel. From the moment we landed in Oman, the intercontinental hotel was not helpful. When we asked for a taxi, they wouldn’t help us and we had to arrange ourselves. When we asked if we had a sea view, we were told “we had a partial sea view” which was actually a car park and a loud generator which rattled on all through the night. The generator was so loud we had to keep the balcony doors closed all the time. However, one night, even with the doors closed we were kept awake until 3am with loud bangs and clatters from hotel staff loading up vans with furniture after an event at the hotel. When we asked about booking the onsite restaurants, we were told they were all closed apart from the main one. Multiple times when we went to the main restaurant we were told it was too busy and we had to wait and come back later. When we did get into the restaurant, we often had to wait long times for food to be replaced or we given paper cups because they’d run out of glasses! When we tried to get the WiFi at the pool, there was none. When we tried to use the creams in the room, they’d run out. The staff were lovely and the food was nice but altogether, we didn’t feel looked after and definitely don’t feel this is a 5* hotel.

From the moment I approached her she greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor that immediately made me feel welcome. She is attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable, answering all my questions and addressing my every need with professionalism and poise.
What truly impressed me, was her willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. She took the time to listen to my requests, offered personalized recommendations, and even followed up with me to ensure that everything was to my liking.
Ms. Beena is a true asset to your team, and her exceptional service has left a lasting impression on me. She embody the perfect blend of professionalism, kindness, and hospitality, and I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to interact with her.
For cleanliness i rated it 4 coz maybe the housekeeping missed to change cover for 1 pillow, there are 4 pillows in the room however theres 1 that smells used and have a little stain on it already. Aside from it generally the hotel is clean and tidy.
Location: No nearby/walking distance shops, stores, restaurants or mall.

The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and equipped with a comfortable bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-designed workspace. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and pool, were pristine and well-maintained. Its convenient location made exploring Muscat a breeze. Every detail was perfect, making my stay truly exceptional. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Muscat!

HHanzo HattoriMy recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental Muscat was overall enjoyable, with several notable highlights. The hotel’s location near the beachfront is fantastic, offering stunning views of Muscat and the surrounding mountains. The interiors are beautifully designed, featuring natural materials that create a luxurious and calming atmosphere.
The rooms were ultra-comfortable, with excellent beds and top-quality linens that made for a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful in-room amenities, including good tea, a Nespresso machine, and water in glass bottles—a healthy and eco-friendly touch.
The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided were of great quality, and the dental kits were decent. However, I did notice that some toothpaste tubes weren’t fresh, as the paste had become solid and dry in a few sets. Additionally, the shaving kit was of the cheapest level, which didn’t align with the otherwise high standards of the hotel.
Breakfast was good but not quite up to the level typically expected from Mandarin Oriental. There’s definitely room for improvement here, but I believe this is something the hotel will refine over time. The staff were polite and professional, which added to the overall positive experience.
Considering the hotel is still new, I’d rate the overall experience, including the price/value ratio, as 3.5 out of 5. I’m confident that with time, the hotel will address these minor gaps and elevate the experience to match the impeccable standards the brand is known for.

GGuest UserDecent clean functional hotel, extremely businesslike, everything as it should be but staff were very aloof and unhelpful, when I asked the receptionist to help me with a taxi she walked away, when I asked her colleague he refused and told me to use the ripoff opportunist taxi drivers that were constantly loitering in the lobby and change extortionate prices, customer care non existent but am absolutely fine hotel otherwise

The location is excellent—central, safe, and close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. It made getting around Muscat really convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. Staff were friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The breakfast buffet was decent, with a mix of local and international options—though I would’ve loved to see a bit more variety day to day.

The room was spacious and the bathroom amenities were acceptable. One suggestion is to retire some of the old towels; some were frayed at the edges.

IIsmail_ahamedMy overall experience at Muscat Plaza Hotel was somewhat good. Unfortunately, they lacked many things. For example, the room wasn't fully prepared, and I had to ask for toothpaste, slippers, and a toothbrush.
Additionally, the gym lacked many tools. They only had a treadmill, which is not what I consider a gym. It also closed too early at 9:00 PM.
I was only satisfied with the reception assistance and support
