"This hotel is excellent. For Switzerland, where prices are generally high, it offers exceptional value for money. The hotel's decor is beautiful, and there's a spacious lounge area on the ground floor. Its location right by the train station and the availability of free parking make it incredibly convenient for guests, whether they're arriving by car or train. I booked an Eiger-view room, and stepping onto the balcony offered a breathtaking, close-up view of the Eiger. Although the room wasn't large, it felt very cozy and warm thanks to the heating. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious. Overall, I was extremely satisfied."

"Luxury personalized !! Right outside the train station, excellent service and delicious food, Sauna n steam facilities, massive room and bathroom with all the immunities slippers, bathrobe, etc  View is a 10 on 10 all three sides. It’s a paradise to look out of the window when you get up in the morning, I shall be staying at this place if I ever return to Grindelwald."

"The hotel is in a good location, just 2 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel room is decorated like a log cabin, very authentic, clean and tidy, and the hygiene is very good. It is a comfortable and beautiful log cabin. As soon as you enter, you will feel like you are living in Switzerland. It is very comfortable to stay, and there is a bathtub for bathing. The Jungfrau cable car station is within walking distance, and you will pass many small Swiss hills along the way, where you can check in and the scenery is beautiful. The breakfast is rich, you can bake bread, and the eggs are also hot. The accommodation experience is very good, good reviews."

"Right next to the train station, not a long walk, but the subway navigation was off, taking me on a long detour. I searched for a while before I found it. The hotel replied quickly to my email and sent a car to pick me up. The front desk service was excellent. It's very convenient for First and Jungfraujoch, and they can also help with booking tickets. A young man on the night shift enthusiastically suggested waiting until the next day to check the weather before booking tickets. The scenery is beautiful and the room is very spacious, but it was more expensive than the price I saw that day. Breakfast was great, very European. The scenery is beautiful."

"Best stay in Grindelwald! Center of everything. Great view of Eiger in our room and breakfast. Super Perfect stay with Best POOL view! Bucket list stay in Switzerland. Price is quite expensive but super worth it. Get the Eiger View Rooms and Adore the Views! Best family Stay. The downside is the shower. Its still old school. So for PWD or Oldies pls beware you might fall."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shops conveniently nearby. The view from our room's balcony was like a beautiful painting, with the majestic Eiger mountain right across. Plus, the First mountain cable car station is just a hundred meters directly opposite the hotel entrance. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, satisfying even my 'Chinese palate'. Most of the hotel staff provided great service across all departments. Housekeeping cleaned our room thoroughly every day, and the young, handsome guys in the self-service restaurant were particularly warm and proactive, making our dining experience very pleasant. The only downside was a female waitress at the hotel's cheese fondue restaurant on the first floor. She wasn't wearing a name tag, was petite, had a ponytail, medium build, and appeared to be around forty years old. Her attitude was absolutely terrible and incredibly rude! It was barely 6 PM, and over half the restaurant was clearly empty. I politely started to ask her in English, 'There are three of us...' but before I could even finish my sentence, she rolled her eyes at me, waved her hand dismissively, and loudly and impatiently blurted out in broken English, 'Full, full! It's completely full! Can't you see, there are no seats left!' It was absolutely infuriating. I've traveled to many countries, both domestically and internationally, and this is the first time I've encountered such an awful hotel staff member! And it felt very obviously discriminatory! Honestly, the fondue restaurant itself smells pretty bad, and encountering such a terrible waitress instantly diminished the beautiful scenery and our good mood. I still recommend staying at this hotel, but I advise caution when considering the smelly fondue restaurant on the first floor because of that particular waitress!"

"Almost Perfect Stay at Hotel Alpenhof Absolutely stunning mountain view from the balcony of our suite. So breathtaking yet so serene. About 10 min walk down hill brings us to lively village of Grindelwald with all its shops n restaurants n cafes n supermarket. Cannot ask for a better location. Having said that, without a car, it can be quite challenging to take our luggages uphill to the hotel. Breakfast is another highlight of our stay. Fantastic selection of cheeses n eggs n bread n yogurt n everything. Delicious. Our suite is clean n comfortable n spacious. WiFi is stable. The only “negative” I have for our 4-night stay is that the glasses/mugs we used in our room were occasionally not cleaned for us after each day. It is a bit strange. All in all, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to other travelers."

"125 years of traditional hotels, wooden houses, floor heating; breakfast all kinds of bread, juice, yogurt, cheese, meat slices (about three or four kinds, I have seen the evaluation before that the breakfast is very simple and I don’t think it at all); very delicious, I and the baby eat directly; balcony look at the snow-capped mountains; the most important thing is here; They have a sauna here, men and women ** mixed bathing, the kind that can't wear swimsuits; there is also a table football activity room; the grandfather and grandmother at the front desk are very kind."

"Grindelwald for the first time, and after four days and three nights, this place is perfect. It's right by the bus and train stations, so you can hop off the train from Interlaken, walk through the terminal, and Eiger Lodge is right behind the parking lot. Buses take you all around Grindelwald, even to the main street. The terminal has a Coop, so groceries are super easy. The hotel has an awesome view of the valley and is super clean. They have breakfast every day, and even though it's the same stuff, I still liked it. Heads up, there's some construction going on that might block the view a little, but it's not a big deal. I'd totally stay here again if I come back."
