"Atour is consistently excellent. It's comfortable, convenient, clean, elegant, and tastefully minimalist. Everything from the toiletries to the bedding was excellent, and all the amenities were high quality. They have a gym and a laundry room, and there was even a poetry book by the bedside – such a thoughtful and sophisticated touch.
This Atour hotel is located right in the city center, which is incredibly convenient. The high-floor rooms offer fantastic views with large floor-to-ceiling windows, which I absolutely loved. The service was excellent and very helpful. I will definitely be back."

"Since it opened in 2025, all the facilities are new, and the hotel is clean and hygienic overall. There are even disposable toilet seat covers, and the toilet paper is packaged. The hotel provides shuttle service (which seems to be standard practice for hotels in Yunnan), which is reassuring. I'd like to suggest to the owner that a clothesline be added to the bathroom, and that the air conditioner switch could be placed near the door; it's really inconvenient being near the bed."

As for the shortcomings, they are all minor flaws, but they greatly affect the experience:
1. The room soundproofing is average

"The hotel environment is quite good (as shown in image 2), and the location is excellent too (as shown in image 3) – right next to a scenic spot. Overall, it was okay. However, the complimentary hot spring pass was really frustrating. It's for only one person, which, honestly, is the first time I've ever encountered that; other hotels usually offer a pass for two. Plus, it's limited to 3 hours... Such strict conditions made me expect a grand hot spring facility, but when I went in, there were fewer than 10 pools open. The children's pool and a large massage pool were cold, and the water even had a layer of grime floating on top. Aside from the staff checking tickets at the entrance, I didn't see a single service person in the entire hot spring area. It's a huge difference compared to Dali Geothermal Park and Huquan Hot Springs I've visited before, where hotel guests have unlimited access with no time limits, and the outdoor hot spring areas are much larger! Also, the tissue box in the hotel room was incredibly broken (as shown in image 1), which really bothered me. Can't they update it? And the hairdryer in my room (1301) was broken too! The only thing I was really happy with was the shower – the water pressure was excellent, which was a big plus."

I wanted to find a hotel to transition, but I didn't expect the whole season Baoshan store to refresh the journey experience directly! From entering the door to checking out, every detail is full of care, completely exceeding expectations ～
The front desk lady smiled super healing, and the hot towels and hot tea were welcomed as soon as she entered the door and intimately informed the nearby local food guide. Especially Xiao Zheng Xiaofang at the front desk also helped us push the suitcase to the elevator. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was just soft and hard, and even the toiletries were light woody. Take a shower before going to bed and the fatigue of the day was all gone. The breakfast is super rich, not only with regular meals, but also Baoshan special thin bean powder, with crispy fried dough sticks, and fall in love with the local taste. The location is also superb, you can walk to Qinglong Street, it is super convenient to come back at night, and I will choose here next time I come to Baoshan!"

GGuest UserUpon arriving in Ginkgo Village, we booked the Jubing Hot Spring Inn. While a bit pricey, it was a fantastic value. Although newly renovated, it didn't feel like a renovation. The room was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and the bedding was my favorite white color—very classy and comfortable. There's a large bathhouse with hot springs, which was incredibly relaxing. There are two ginkgo trees in the courtyard. Perhaps we arrived a little early, so the leaves hadn't yet turned yellow, but that didn't detract from the beauty. It was perfect for photos and a photo opportunity, and the scenery was stunning! The owner was especially welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast included was delicious. I had a fantastic experience and was completely satisfied!

GGuest UserDuring our two weeks travel in Yunnan with our parents and kids, this guesthouse was the biggest surprise of the trip! It was incredibly comfortable and superb clean for all six of us — from the elderly to the little ones, everyone absolutely loved it. My parents couldn’t stop raving about how thoughtful and cozy it was, saying it’s the best place they've ever stayed.
The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every little detail was taken care of — whether it was travel tips, food recommendations, or little thoughtful touches, we truly felt at home. Their hospitality made the whole trip smoother and even more enjoyable.
The guesthouse itself is beautifully designed, with unique and creative touches in every corner — we couldn’t stop taking photos! The rooftop view was especially stunning, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that looked like paintings. Our whole family went up there every day; we didn’t want to miss a single moment of the scenery.
If you’re coming to Heshun, you have to stay here! The environment, service, and warmth of the hosts are all top-notch. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality travel experience — we’ll definitely be back next time!

XXjtudouThis trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

GGuest UserThis hotel is nestled within a hot spring village, offering a beautiful environment that truly makes you feel close to nature. Tengchong isn't a very large area, so travel time from the hotel to various scenic spots won't exceed 30 minutes.
The private hot spring is set in a charming little courtyard, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The afternoon tea included in our room package required a reservation in advance, as they prepare a limited number of sets daily. If our schedule was tight and we missed the afternoon tea time, they were happy to deliver it to our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the service maintained the Banyan Tree standard. My only surprise was the lack of Christmas atmosphere in Tengchong; even a major international brand like Banyan Tree had no Christmas decorations or elements during the holiday season.

GGuest UserI originally booked a different courtyard, but the owner upgraded me to a Lotus Pond King Room. The view was great; it would definitely be even more beautiful during lotus blooming season. There's a stylish coffee shop downstairs. Transportation is relatively convenient compared to other guesthouses in the ancient town, located on the west side, accessible by car, though a bit far from the center. The wooden structure of the house isn't very soundproof; there's a small road downstairs where cars pass by, making it a little noisy. The service was excellent; they even picked me up from the visitor center. Coming back in the evening, I enjoyed warming myself by the fireplace downstairs with some black tea – very pleasant. The breakfast was also good. Highly recommended!
