"Found a gem! This hotel is definitely worth revisiting multiple times! Check-in at the front desk was super fast, no time wasted at all. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, had an amazing attitude and answered all my questions thoughtfully. "The guesthouse has a great location, perfect for stargazing! The owner is also very welcoming! However, the mushroom-hunting hike was a total rip-off and I strongly advise against it. It was too short and the route was too simple; you practically came up empty-handed, and the experience was terrible. We didn't even need to drink water the whole time, and the packed lunches were never served before the trip was over. A walk in the park would have been much better. Charging 500 yuan for this experience is seriously overpriced! I strongly suggest the owner reconsider her pricing for the services she offers. Several other services mentioned were also quite expensive; although we didn't participate, they all seemed to be overpriced and offered only mediocre experiences."

"Located in the city center, it's convenient to get around, and there are many shops, supermarkets, fruit shops, and restaurants nearby.
The room was very large and bright, clean and odorless, even with a faint fragrance.
The bedding is what I want to praise most. The mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows included latex pillows. This was the first good night's sleep I had in Yunnan; I went to bed at 11 pm and didn't wake up until 9 am.
The bath towels and face towels were also very clean and soft. It's clear the owner puts a lot of care into running this hotel.
If I have the opportunity to visit Baoshan again, I will definitely stay here again."

Guest UserUpon arriving in Ginkgo Village, we booked the Jubing Hot Spring Inn. While a bit pricey, it was a fantastic value. Although newly renovated, it didn't feel like a renovation. The room was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and the bedding was my favorite white color—very classy and comfortable. There's a large bathhouse with hot springs, which was incredibly relaxing. There are two ginkgo trees in the courtyard. Perhaps we arrived a little early, so the leaves hadn't yet turned yellow, but that didn't detract from the beauty. It was perfect for photos and a photo opportunity, and the scenery was stunning! The owner was especially welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast included was delicious. I had a fantastic experience and was completely satisfied!

Guest UserHighly recommend!!! This place is hassle-free and has a friendly atmosphere. We booked for four nights and had a great experience every day. The owner is incredibly honest and even picked us up in his car. My family and I are all a bit of a germaphobe, but this place was perfect for us! The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. However, the view from the window of the room I booked wasn't great, so if that bothers you, think twice. But for me, it didn't matter since we were out exploring during the day anyway.
The breakfast was really good. A bowl of rice noodles every day was so delicious! We didn't have to go out to eat, and no matter what time we got up, the owner would still make it for us without ever asking.
The owner is also very generous, constantly offering fruit and snacks, even if you don't want them. He tells you which roads are easy to navigate and which places to avoid before you go out, and you can listen without question. It's so sweet!
In short, I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

3. It was a special offer room, so it was on the first floor, close to the front desk, but it wasn't noisy.

Bird photographers should definitely choose this place. The birdwatching spot he recommended was also excellent. Overall, the service was outstanding. Booked a room facing the balcony on the second floor. It's really what's expected. Extremely comfortable. It's especially good to bask in the sun. As soon as we arrived, the landlady asked us to drink tea on the balcony. The green plants on the second floor are particularly beautiful. I really like the entire balcony on the second floor. When we visited the ancient town, we also looked at more expensive inns, and the balconies were almost the same as hers. The price/performance ratio here is really great. The lady boss is very nice. When I left, I got up early to help me carry my luggage down the mountain. The guy I found to see me off at the airport was also very nice. He knew I didn't have breakfast and took me to have breakfast before going to the airport.

This hostel is amazing! The location is super convenient, close to everything, and there are tons of food stalls nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The common areas have a great atmosphere, the sofas are soft and plush, and it was so much fun chatting with fellow travelers from all over the world in the evenings. The owner is incredibly nice and even recommended some local off-the-beaten-path experiences. The value for money is incredible, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Only reason I gave a 4/5 for service was it took about 30 minutes to get registered as a foreign guest. Now I know it must not be common to deal with a foreigner here but a simple photo of the passport and figuring out the forms and paperwork on your own would be convenient. The room itself was across the street from the check in lobby, a bit small but did the job well. In the morning I dropped off the room key easily and walked just 10 minutes to get to the railway! Great hotel for budget travelers!
