"The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive. The location was convenient, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, had a wonderful attitude. I'd definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it! The public area at the front desk is absolutely stunning for photos! Even though it was a rainy day when I visited, it was warm and cozy indoors, and it's very close to Duan Bridge. It was a really enjoyable experience! 🥰🥰"

"Since I was traveling by electric car, I specifically chose a hotel with charging spaces. However, I was very disappointed upon arrival. First, there are very few parking spaces at the hotel entrance. If they're full, you're directed to a parking lot under a nearby overpass that doesn't have charging facilities. The charging spots at the hotel entrance are slow chargers, and if you arrive late in the evening, you definitely won't find a spot. This hotel used to partner with Wanda Plaza, where you could park and charge, but the front desk said the partnership has ended and there are no more parking vouchers. In the end, I chose to drive my car to Wanda Plaza to charge, but all four charging stations there showed offline and unusable. I still had to drive to a charging station about 1 km away. The room itself was fine, but if you're traveling by electric car, you really need to consider this hotel carefully. If I had known all this, I would never have chosen it. It's also inconvenient for self-driving tours; the area around the entrance, being near Wanda Plaza, is very congested, and illegal parking is rampant. Novice drivers need to be extremely careful. I ended up taking taxis everywhere when I went out."

"Jackie was very attentive and responsible. The room arranged for us was perfect – non-smoking and facing the sun. It was excellent. The room had a desk, which was very convenient for the kids to read. I'm especially grateful for the help with printing the kids' test papers; the service was truly superb. The robot delivery for our late-night takeout was super convenient. There's a piano in the lobby, and I never expected my child could practice piano even while traveling. It exceeded my expectations and was totally worth it!"

"Location was great 30 seconds walk to train station , pick up point right outside hotel for taxis, good view towards North Korea side and bridge from higher floors.
My room was very dated and old with musty smell and signs of age on walls and furniture.
The bedroom was no frills i.e. no tissue or tea provided in room. Sheets were clean and ok.
The bathroom has a slight smell of pee, and shower area is not separated from rest of bathroom so whole bathroom gets wet during shower. However bathroom is stocked with the usual necessities like toothbrush, soap, hairdryer, towels, toilet rolls which is good.
Overall, good value for budget travellers due to low cost. I would not stay here again next time I visit Dandong as there are other similar priced hotels 1-3 minutes further from the train station, but without the view to North Korea."

"The front desk staff demonstrated excellent service awareness and attitude. Any issues raised during my stay were promptly and effectively addressed.
I suggest the hotel invest in two commercial washing machines with automatic detergent dispensers and designate a clothes drying area. For laundry left in the machines without a room number or not collected promptly, either remove and hang it to dry or tumble dry it on a cool cycle for 30-50 minutes. (This advice also applies to guests who urgently need to use the machines and remove others' laundry for drying, as many modern garments made of cast synthetic fibers can easily deform or delaminate with high-temperature drying. For example, a single Descente shirt or pair of pants can cost around 2,000, and a jacket can be 3,000-4,000.)"

Overall the place was great and I would recommend it to everyone. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent with plenty of choice."

"This hotel's location is truly fantastic! You step right out to the Yalu River, and you can even see it from your room, which is super convenient. Downstairs, there are convenience stores and restaurants, so all your daily needs are covered. It's absolutely perfect for business travelers or independent tourists. Even though it's in a bustling area, the rooms are very quiet and completely undisturbed by outside noise. The room offers a wide, open view where you can overlook the city's nightscape – it's really pleasant. Next time I'm in this city, this will definitely be my top choice."

The hotel's overall design is incredibly tasteful, blending New Chinese style with modern simplicity. The public areas are spacious and bright, with art pieces and greenery perfectly placed to create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The front desk staff's smiles and efficient, professional service instantly put me at ease. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, freshly renovated with no strange odors, and the details were spot on. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. Although it was a bleak winter scene outside the window, the room was warm and spring-like, with soft lighting and a well-thought-out layout, making for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay.
Then there's the tranquil beauty of the Yalu River in winter – I had a river view room, and the vista was excellent. Even though it was winter, with bare trees on both banks and a quiet, desolate landscape, it only highlighted the clear and deep beauty of the Yalu River. Under the winter sun, it shimmered with a cool, serene glow, creating a unique sense of calm and openness.
But what truly touched and delighted me was the thoughtful 'souvenir' the hotel prepared. It wasn't the usual candy or simple stationery, but a bone china plate featuring illustrations of the Yalu River Broken Bridge and the scenery of North Korea across the river. It was full of local character and historical significance – a keepsake I could take home. This level of thoughtfulness goes beyond simple accommodation; it reflects the hotel's respect for guests' feelings and local culture, making it feel truly precious. GGuest UserI came here to experience this newly opened capsule B&B after watching a video. The in-person experience was even better than I expected! It felt like I was right on the water. The room was spotless, and the view of water on three sides was truly amazing! Each room has its own private pool, which my son had a blast playing in. It's also a great place to take photos. The facilities are complete, and the owner, who was born in 1995 and is about my age, is also very friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be back next time I have the chance!

SShibaobeilaoda.This hotel is perfect for friends visiting Dandong. It's right next to the Yalu River, and you can find it just behind the famous 'influencer wall,' so the location is fantastic. There are also plenty of dining options downstairs.
**Facilities**: All the facilities are quite new, and the room temperature was very comfortable. The only minor drawback was that the TV couldn't screen-mirror.
**Hygiene**: The room was incredibly clean and tidy. When we returned in the evening, the cleaning staff had already tidied up the room for us, thoughtfully provided extra amenities, and even folded our clothes on the sofa, haha, so cute!
**Environment**: The hotel environment is excellent. It's surrounded by scenic spots, and it's only a 7-8 yuan taxi ride to the shopping mall and old street, which is very convenient. The hotel's interior environment is comparable to a four-star hotel – very well-maintained, and the soundproofing is good too.
**Service**: The service was excellent. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) was very enthusiastic when we checked in and even helped us with a late checkout. The cleaning staff were also wonderful.
Overall, it was a very good stay. The hotel also offers breakfast, though we didn't get to try it. Highly recommend this hotel! 👍

The room cleaning lady on the fifth floor of Area A was very good. The refrigerator was not hot, so she immediately brought a new good refrigerator, thank you 😊. The children were also provided with free slippers and toothbrushes. The hotel parking lot is huge, which gives self-driving tourists a super comfortable experience, without worrying about parking anxiety. The hotel is located by the Yalu River, and you can enjoy the river view for free without leaving the hotel, which is great. A very good trip to Andong.

The weather on May 1st is still strong. There are mountains and waters around. It is very pleasant. The boss said that the maple leaves in autumn are better-looking. You can consider coming again in October.
The cabin has a complete range of indoor appliances. Water heaters, smart toilets, geothermal air conditioning, hand-made coffee and tea in the stove are very pleasant. Of course, outdoor camping inevitably has some emergencies, such as small bugs, bad nets, or broken electric curtains 😂 Normal heart ～ Since you choose camping, you can feel another life!
The only uncomfortable thing is from breakfast. The breakfast is delivered by the eldest sister. It is very good. Each breakfast is heavy and full. But the two of us can't eat too much. We asked for a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns and some pickles. The eldest sister said that there are salted duck eggs. I said yes, the eldest sister asked a few and I said if I could come two. When the eldest sister was going to get it for me, a fat little brother next to her pulled his face and said no, he could give one. At that time, I was particularly defeated. Our accommodation, the electric curtains are broken, the net is broken, and there are small bugs. We all endured it because a salted duck egg depends on the face of people. Please standardize your breakfast, okay! If you can have one and a half salted duck eggs, please print them out and stick them in a clear position instead of asking us on the spot. Finally, say you can give one.
If the boss wants to do service for a long time, he has to keep up. It is fun to spend money. It is not to see other people's faces!

PpangkaAlright location but not as close to the river as the name suggests. There's no river view. Taxis had difficulty coming into the hotel lobby. The hotel is a bit old but maintained okay. The fader on the reading light didn't work. They gave us only two pillows for a Queen bed. On the plus side they have put in those great japanese style toilets with heated seats. Nice touch.
