From my room window, I could see Vietnam, and the front desk even warned me that if I had an iPhone, it might pick up signals from the neighboring country and my time zone could change. The rooftop observation deck offers an even better view of the border scenery, encompassing both Dongxing in China and Mong Cai in Vietnam. 2) When I booked on Trip.com, I specifically requested a non-smoking room, and the hotel front desk truly delivered! The floor and room were genuinely free of any secondhand smoke. Honestly, in a fourth-tier city in (what is arguably the world's number one country for secondhand smoke), this was a rare and pleasant surprise. 3) It's quite close to the Dongxing Port, just a 5-minute walk away. If you want to experience the charm of a border town right from your room, and if you appreciate clean room facilities and fresh, natural air, I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The room is at the elevator entrance, and the soundproofing is not very good. The children were woken up by the guests talking loudly at the door early in the morning. It is close to the port and convenient for taking buses and taxis. Next door is Huajie Chicken Noodles, which tastes very good! There is a Sino-Vietnamese Friendship Park nearby!"

"Dongxing Port is mainly for selling things, and the streets are full of Vietnamese snacks. According to the new policy, you must bring your passport to leave the country. If you want convenience in your diet, I recommend Sanjie Chicken Noodles, which include chicken noodles, spring rolls, Vietnamese bread, and flatbread. The chicken is chewy and sweet, the spring rolls are best eaten freshly fried, and the bread is just average (deep-fried, a little greasy). The main attractions are the boundary monument, war relics, and the ASEAN-style street. There is a Green Oriental Hotel next to the port, facing Vietnam, with a panoramic view."

"On the first day, I tried to boil water in the electric kettle and found it was filthy, with rust all over the bottom. I called the front desk and asked them to come up and replace it with a new one. The cleaning lady didn't come to clean. Since I was naked in the room, I was only wearing my underwear, so I asked her to wait. The whole process took less than two minutes. When I went to open the door, the cleaning lady had already pushed the cleaning supplies into the elevator. I hadn't even gotten in yet, but she actually said she was going downstairs [sweat wiping]. When I've had cleaning ladies at other hotels, I've always asked them to wait a minute or two, and they'd wait outside. The next day, after I put the trash at the door, no one knocked to clean. The third day, no one cleaned. For the next few days, I simply didn't ask for cleaning."

You need to go to the Ramada side to get hot water and be followed by the Ramada staff to ensure you are only get hot water and not use their breakfast. There is no tea bag so I need to bring the tea bag from my room. There is no black coffee available either. Overall, the Vienna breakfast is a bit disappointing for a 4 stars hotel."
