"This hotel is in the same building as the Vienna Hotel, just on a different floor. I asked the front desk, and they said it's the same owner. The parking lot access, parking spaces, and management are all quite unsatisfactory. The room size is decent, but the layout and design are pretty average. While there's nothing explicitly wrong, the entrance just feels a bit off. The biggest letdown is that such a large hotel doesn't have a laundry room. For a family traveling during the holidays, not being able to wash and dry clothes is quite inconvenient. This seems like an easy fix that could be implemented. On the plus side, it's super close to the border crossing and the nearby old street, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also helped us contact a travel agency to handle immigration procedures quickly – we paid 220 CNY per person on the 28th of the twelfth ***** month. Another major advantage is the hotel's 35th-floor rooftop observation deck, which offers absolutely stunning views and is the tallest hotel in the area."

Facilities: The room is large and there are floor-to-ceiling windows. The lighting is particularly good. You can lie on the bed and watch the scenery. The bathroom has a lot of water pressure and the shower is particularly comfortable.

"This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dongxing. The location is unbeatable, right next to the border gate – I could actually see it directly from my room, which was amazing! 😱 The underground parking was a huge plus. The front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, was incredibly kind. Since I was traveling with elderly relatives, she went out of her way to make sure our rooms were close together for convenience. We only had breakfast included for two rooms, but she arranged for everyone in our party to have breakfast, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥰
I visited the observation deck both during the day and at night, and I definitely preferred the nighttime view. The Vietnamese side looked quite bustling and impressive as well. It was a really great experience. I regrettably forgot my passport this trip; for anyone going again, I highly recommend bringing it along so you can cross over to Mong Cai – I'm sure it offers a completely different vibe and experience."

"the hotel has a beautiful view of the city at the rooftop restaurant. you can go up to admire the view day and night. the buffet breakfast is simple yet nutritious. the hotel staff is efficient and helpful. i asked for chili and it was promptly given to me. the room is very cozy and has a good street view too. the only setback is the hotel is located quite a distance from the border gate and ***** transport. it will not be a problem if you have your own transport."

"The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is perfect. However, the only charging pile, a slow charger, was consistently out of order. This meant I couldn't charge properly from 2 PM until the next day, having to repeatedly move my car to different spots. The main issue was that the first charging attempt always showed as 'in progress,' preventing any subsequent charging. I needed customer service to authorize the cancellation of this 'in progress' order. Ugh! 🤮"

"The receptionists, Xiao Liu and Xiao Su, were very welcoming and quick to check us in. They upgraded our room and patiently taught us how to download the Didi app. When we entered the room, it was very hot, and we didn't know how to adjust the air conditioning. We called the front desk for help, and Xiao Su immediately came upstairs to show us how to adjust it, which touched us deeply! The room facilities were relatively new, with a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet, smart curtains, and all the amenities we needed. There was even a shoe-changing area at the entrance, which was very thoughtful! It relieved our fatigue after driving for over twenty days! It's only a 7 RMB taxi ride from the border, highly recommended!"

Chain hotels are pretty good. I often travel around for business. It's hard to understand why some white-collar workers are so picky when they pay over 200 yuan. I forgot a bag of souvenirs when I checked in. I suddenly remembered that I was missing a bag of things after I entered the room for a long time. When I went down to the lobby, the PA lady said that she was afraid that we couldn't find it, so she didn't dare to take it away. She left it there for us to come back and get it. I give her a thumbs up!

There is a parking lot, a laundry room, and it is very convenient to go to the port. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the staff are very enthusiastic and help guide parking and pick up luggage. There are also robots to help deliver things to the room. The room is large and fully equipped. The sanitation is also very clean, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep on. The overall experience is very good. It seems that the boss is working hard on the hotel. It’s been many years since I stayed in a hotel and I haven’t written a serious review. Balduin ElsterlandDer Strand ist schnell erreichbar und mit einem Motorroller kann man sich die Insel gut erschließen. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch Servicepersonal ist um seine Gäste bemüht. Auf der Terrasse kann man absolut gut am Abend entspannen und die frische Meerbrise genießen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Foyer ist hübsch ausgestaltet, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Optimal wäre es, wenn ein wenig Tee vorgehalten werden würde. Immerhin das Gefäß dafür ist schon aufgestellt. Ansonsten vielen Dank für alle Bemühungen.

The hotel should have been renovated in 2023. The furniture is new and the facilities are good. This is probably the best hotel you can find in Dongxing. There are about ten single-family villas in total, facing the mountains and streams. It is very comfortable to get up in the morning. The key is that the price is not expensive even on the National Day, which is rare. It's not far from Dongxing city, about twenty minutes' drive. Just look at the room map for photos, that's fine. The only small problem is that it comes with a gas tank for the kitchen stove, but not a pot haha.

The bathroom has handrails, which is a thoughtful touch.
It's about 400 meters from the beach.
I specifically booked this hotel because of the children's slide, but I was told it won't open until mid-June.
The breakfast was too simple.
For a price of around 200 yuan, it's pretty good value.

Anonymous UserRoom: The room was more spacious than I expected, with modern and cozy decor, and it was very clean and tidy. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and good quality toiletries.
Facilities: I tried out the hotel's gym and pool (or breakfast, depending on what facilities you used), and they were all well-maintained. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, which was very convenient for work.
Summary: Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this city!

Guest UserChoosing the right hotel for my trip to Dongxing Port was a great experience! The location of this Home Inn is incredibly convenient, less than a 10-minute walk to the port, and super easy to get to the China-Vietnam Friendship Park and pedestrian street. There are plenty of snack shops and a supermarket in the lobby nearby. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and quick to check me in; they even proactively recommended must-try local foods. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The hot water was consistently strong and the pressure was good. The best part was the free self-service laundry room – my dirty clothes from a long day of shopping were washed and dried instantly, ready to wear the next day! So convenient for travelers! Excellent value for money; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dongxing.

The service attitude of the proprietress and the front desk is very good. You can wash clothes on the first floor and have breakfast. The location of the hotel is good, not far from various places to eat. The price/performance ratio should be relatively high in the off-season. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is louder and I hope it can be improved.
