"🌟 A Must-Stay in Yading, Daocheng! Sangyelinka Boutique Homestay - A Perfect Experience Coming to Yading, Daocheng, choosing Sangyelinka was absolutely the right decision! This was the most delightful accommodation of our trip, and I have to recommend it to everyone! 🏔️ Amazing Location and Views The homestay is located in Reguang Village, Shangri-La Town, just a 10-minute drive from the scenic area entrance. It's a peaceful spot amidst the hustle and bustle. Opening the window, you're greeted by the majestic Niulang Mountain and fields of blooming highland barley. During the day, you can watch the snowy peaks and clouds, and at night, enjoy the Milky Way from the rooftop bar – the ambiance is incredible. 🎨 Superb Design and Facilities It boasts a light ******* luxury style, having won a CBDA design award, with incredibly high-quality details. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with floor heating, a humidifier, and Wi-Fi, making for a very comfortable stay at high altitude. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains right from your bed – perfect for photos! 👩🍳 Five-Star Service and Experience The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively helped with luggage, lent us hiking poles and windbreakers, and provided excellent tips for the scenic area. They offer free blood oxygen testing and have an oxygen concentrator, so there's no need to panic about altitude sickness. In the evenings, there are ******* dance lessons and complimentary ******* clothing experiences, offering an immersive taste of ******* culture. The highland barley cakes, matsutake chicken noodle soup, and butter tea were all incredibly delicious – we were full every day. Having breakfast in the scenic restaurant, accompanied by snow-capped mountains and blooming flowers, was an absolute joy. When you come to Yading, don't hesitate to book Sangyelinka! Beautiful design, stunning views, warm service, delicious breakfast, and excellent value for money. Next time I visit Yading, I'll definitely stay here again and will enthusiastically recommend it to all my friends!"

"The hotel is located in the center of Daocheng County. Although it's a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The manager, Yang Zi, is incredibly capable and enthusiastic. She truly understands that visitors to the plateau can easily experience altitude sickness, so she is exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and attentive to guests. She frequently checks in on everyone and even arranged a taxi for our airport transfer. Before we left, she repeatedly reminded the driver to drive carefully to ensure our safety, which made us feel secure and at ease throughout our stay. The ******* staff team is also very friendly; Dorje, for instance, gave us many helpful suggestions. We had dinner at the hotel, and the dishes were perfectly suited for guests who can't eat spicy food, which we were very happy with."

"Went with a friend, and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful! When we arrived in the morning, they immediately updated us on the weather conditions in Yading and gave us tips. The landlady even helped us carry our luggage up to the room while we went to explore Daocheng. When we came back, we had a nice chat with them. I also noticed how wonderfully patient and pleasant they were with other guests. The place was very clean too. I'll definitely be back!"

"This was a perfect place to spend the night in Daocheng before a flight the next morning. It is only a 15 minute walk away from the White Pagoda, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful with figuring out logistics for getting to the airport and recommending activities and restaurants in the area (Make sure to have WeChat set up). One of the ladies spoke fairly good English too. My one complaint is that the tap water seemed to have a slight brown hue to it, especially when using warm/hot water. This showed up in both the sink and shower. Thus, I did not want to use the tap water to brush my teeth or to filter for drinking, which has not been a concern of mine anywhere else in China. Because I usually use a water filter to drink the tap, I did not have extra bottled water prepared beforehand. Some is provided, but if you think you'll use/drink a lot of water (as I do, especially because of how dry it is in Daocheng), buy some extra beforehand."

"It is clean since it is newly built. Located at the end of the tourist street, it is quiet and close to amenities such as restaurants and shops. If you need a vehicle, I recommend booking through the hotel. We booked the largest room, but it was disappointing because it was slightly different from the photos provided. Although the staff member explained it sufficiently, it was difficult to accept. We chose this room because we needed a sofa and chairs for a three-day stay with three people, as well as a room with a good view. However, there was no sofa, only one chair, and many aspects were different from the photos. If these aspects are improved, other travelers will be able to stay with a pleasant experience."

"I had high expectations for this hotel, given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet that standard. I had booked five rooms. We arrived at 6:00 PM, and there was a queue for check-in with only one staff member at the counter. As a result, the service quality was poor. The process was not smooth and was frequently interrupted by other guests. Upon heading to our rooms, we found the hotel corridor lights were not turned on. The dark corridors made it difficult to locate our room numbers. To our disappointment, one of the rooms was not ready. While we would understand an early check-in issue at 2:00 PM, finding an unprepared room at 6:30 PM is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The overall service was a major letdown. On a positive note, the room itself was clean and spacious, breakfast has a good selection."

"The hotel is super comfortable, the oxygen supply facilities are particularly intimate, which relieves the discomfort of high reaction. It is very convenient to use intelligent guest control. The bed is very comfortable. The location is also close to the scenic spot. The service is very warm. The overall experience is very satisfactory."

"Wow, this is fantastic! The hotel has a large courtyard, and parking is free for those driving, so you don't need to worry about finding a spot. There are free oxygen concentrators in the lobby, and you can fill oxygen bags for free. The front desk staff are very welcoming and quick to check in. They even provided free travel guides for Yading and the surrounding area, and recommended nearby restaurants. They proactively helped with our luggage. The rooms were clean, spacious, and great value for money. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the town center. The rooms were well-equipped, and you can call the front desk anytime you need anything. There's also a free washing machine on the third floor. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel and highly recommended!"

"The late-night congee selection was varied and delicious, with plenty of condiments. The environment was great. The service was excellent, and they even helped upgrade our room type. They provided travel guides and hiking poles. The room was clean and hygienic, with disposable toiletries. The location was excellent, and it was quiet, so we slept very comfortably. The pillows were super comfortable. A great hotel, highly recommend! 🤗"
