When the night descends, the lights are lit one by one, illuminating the green-tiled roofs and upturned eaves. The stars and the lights reflect on the river surface. Amidst the swaying of the light and shadow, the dreamy outline of the ancient town is outlined. The most astonishing sight is the Furong Town Waterfall cascading down. Under the halo of the night neon lights, the white silk-like waterfall turns into a flowing screen of light and shadow. In the misty air, the roaring sound of the water and the night scene of the ancient town blend into a thrilling symphony of mountains and waters. You can immerse yourself in the beautiful night of the mysterious land in Western Hunan without even stepping out of the room.
"This guesthouse is an absolute gem! It's close to the scenic area, easily accessible, and offers direct views. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic. I had some concerns about dampness and mosquitoes beforehand, but all those worries vanished the moment I opened the door.
The guesthouse is run by the owner and his son. The son is refined and polite, while the owner is warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home. The 'waterfall view' rooms offer clear views of the scenic area's waterfall, and at night, you can even see the lights of the ancient town. The hallways on each floor have dedicated viewing platforms, so even if you're not in a view room, you can still enjoy the beautiful scenery. The biggest surprise was that the owner offers shuttle service to the scenic area, so you don't have to drive yourself – it's fantastic!
For breakfast, the owner personally cooks rice noodles. These were the best rice noodles I've had during my entire stay in Hunan; I even finished all the soup, hahaha! Oh, and you can get a discount on scenic area tickets if you book them through the owner.
All in all, this guesthouse offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely be recommending it to my friends."

Areas need more attention for improvement:
- in the room the coffee & tea container is there but empty
- in the bathroom there were lots of small toiletry bottles but shower gel is missing! Imagine a guest is already in shower & finds no shower gel to use.....
- cloth hanger with clips was not in good order; side table is badly stained.
- it may be on purpose but no tv & no phone is a no-no for customer experience. Phone to contact front desk remains the most efficient & direct means of communication & service; even in today's high tech era.
- why create a dent in customer experience when breakfast is covered yet charge for coffee?"

"I rarely write reviews, but this guesthouse was truly wonderful. For 200 yuan during the National Day holiday, the room included breakfast. The room had wooden walls, and there were many osmanthus trees outside. Fallen orange-red osmanthus petals littered the path, and the sweet scent of osmanthus filled the air as soon as you entered the guesthouse. Inside the room, there was a pleasant, fragrant woody aroma. It fulfilled my fantasies about rural life in western Hunan – peaceful and serene. After living in the city for so long, I felt it was perfect for a holiday getaway. Unfortunately, I only had one day there. If I have the chance to come back again, I'll definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The room was absolutely spotless! Perched across the river, the guesthouse offered a breathtaking panoramic view of Furong Town's entire nightscape. Enjoying those stunning night lights from the comfort of my bed was a truly magical experience. They also have a fantastic viewing terrace, which was a real highlight! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the younger owner was quite charming! Its location is also very convenient, just about a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station. Considering it's a river-view room right within the scenic area, the price offered exceptional value for money."

"I went there because of the good reviews, but was very disappointed. First, parking was inconvenient. You had to park in a parking lot very close to the bus station behind. It was raining heavily when I arrived, and the old man on duty forced me to park my car in a very close place. After parking, I walked to the hotel with my suitcase in the pouring rain. Second, the hotel was on the third floor, up a staircase next to the waiting room. There was no elevator. I regretted climbing to the third floor, but the boss had already given me a parking ticket. In order not to let the boss lose the parking fee, I reluctantly stayed for one night. Third, the room window had no door and window buckles, which meant that the window could be opened from the outside, and this window could be fully opened, unlike the windows of ordinary hotels where you can only open a small gap and people can't get in. But this is very embarrassing. The floor is not high, and the store below has billboards. If someone wants to break in, it is easy to climb up. So I didn't sleep well that night and was very worried about safety! It is recommended that girls think carefully if they are alone. But there is a wide area at the entrance of the third floor. If it is completed later, it will be great to add some gardens, lounge chairs, etc. However, the hardware and safety issues need to be improved. It is still a bit difficult to climb the third floor with a suitcase."

"The owner was incredibly helpful and fun; he even drove us around town. He also recommended local food, and the teppanyaki he suggested was absolutely delicious and well worth it.
The guesthouse itself was very nice, with a river view and a great view.
I recommend it to those who prefer a quiet environment. While the guesthouses in Furong Town are close by, they can be a bit noisy.
The owner said he's going to start a live stream, so I'm going to give him a thumbs up!"

Guest UserAlthough the house is outside the scenic area, about a five-minute drive from the scenic area, you can see the night view of the entire Furong Town through the glass while lying on the bed, and it is quiet at night! The most important thing is that the boss is super nice. He is responsible for picking up and delivering to the scenic spot, which eliminates the trouble of finding a parking space in the scenic spot. You can also take a boat to the scenic spot during the day. This is the most satisfying stay in this trip!

The car can be parked downstairs at night, there is no elevator in the hanging building, and the bathroom in the Linhe room is a pit! The street room is a toilet! The facilities are quite satisfactory, the service is self-service, and I didn't see anyone after I got the room card! The bath water is hot and flushing, the mattress is hard for us, and the pillow quilt is very comfortable! There are not many restaurants around, but the taste is OK! After breakfast, go to the cottage after eating rice noodles in the store next to it!

A homestay in a remote town in Xiangxi uses a piano-key shower with digital temperature display, an induction night light, and a bathroom mirror with backlight, which is also rare. The door lock is a smart door lock, there is no way to lock, a little unsafe feeling.

Guest UserThe front desk was friendly, check-in was easy, a deposit was required, and check-out was quick. The hotel decoration seems to be old, and there are many places in the corners that show the vicissitudes of life. The housekeeping was generally OK; the glass windows were sealed and could not be opened for ventilation. There is a vegetable market downstairs, with many restaurants and fruit vendors, and a supermarket not far away. The shower room is too small, and you have to be careful when turning around; the wash basin faucet needs to be left with cold water for a long time before hot water comes out. The hotel has its own parking lot, which feels a bit cramped.
