"I was quite satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The price was very reasonable, offering good value for money. However, it's located in an apartment building with many other hotels on the same floors. For this price, I wasn't expecting much, but there were some stains on the wall that weren't cleaned. The free parking is a definite plus."

"When it comes to prime locations, no one beats the Shangri-La. Both the spring and city views are absolutely stunning. The Baotu Spring offers unique beauty in every season, and Quancheng Square is consistently spacious and prominent year-round. The hotel has been open for some years now. The public areas and facilities are still quite good, but the in-room amenities are rather outdated. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom feels a bit cramped. For the same room type, the InterContinental's bathroom design is much more practical. The in-room equipment definitely shows its age, though it's maintained reasonably well, and the cleanliness is excellent. The shower is ancient, lacking a rain shower head, and the handheld shower is difficult to use; no matter how I adjusted it, it sprayed towards the wall, making showering quite a hassle. The drainage isn't very smooth either. Even the clothes hangers are worn out but still in use. The complimentary drinking water is the cheapest kind available, and the dental kit is practically unusable. Shangri-La, can't you procure some better quality items? These aren't even expensive. Otherwise, you'll lose all your guests. I called guest services twice from the room phone, and no one picked up. It's quite surprising to encounter such a flaw in a five-star hotel. However, the overall service at Shangri-La is very good. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite. The Christmas atmosphere on the ground floor, both inside and out, is very festive. The excellent location significantly enhances the value for money at Shangri-La Jinan."

"Our trip to Daming Lake was in December and a low season for travellers to this part of China. The hotel was located within the lake scenic zone and thus you need to arrange for the hotel for a transfer. After that from the hotel it is just a few minutes walk to another parking lot where you can easily get a didi ride. Note these are two different carpark. Free parking is available. From the our room terrace we could see the occasional boat moving past on its way around the daming lake region, note it is not noisy at all. The from the hotel you can easily access the lake’s sight and just a couple of minutes away from the pagoda where in the evening you could see lots of people in hanfu taking pictures as the lights get lit up level by level. From the hotel there is a short walkway whereby you can reach the main road where you can find all kinds of eateries , supermarket, spa , shopping etc. it sure beat staying in downtown Jinan. Strongly recommend this place if you are a tourist planning visits to the major attractions in Jinan."

"This stay at the InterContinental Jinan was exceptional, and I have to give a special shout-out to Li Motong at the front desk! When I was checking in, I was in a rush to get to an appointment nearby. Li immediately noticed my urgency and proactively sped up the check-in process. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, and all my paperwork was completed in just a few minutes. Not only that, but she thoughtfully provided me with a map of the hotel's surroundings, highlighting nearby restaurants and metro stations. She even remembered the opening hours of a tourist attraction I casually asked about! From her welcoming smile to her detailed tips, every interaction demonstrated professionalism and genuine care. I felt incredibly welcomed the moment I stepped into the hotel. Next time I'm in Jinan, I'll definitely choose to stay here again."

"Well located within walking distance to the Jinan west high speed rail. Staff was friendly and helpful in recommending dinner options in the vicinity. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was sufficiently stocked and food was ok. Checkout was a breeze."

"Escaping the winter dust, I arrived in Jinan and checked into the Shangquan Lishe Baotu Spring branch. The stay was comfortable, the food delicious, and the view from the window added an extra touch of surprise. The scene inspired me to write a poem: Small Railing (An Accidental Stay at Shangquan): Indeed, winter has come to Jinan, a place more beautiful than the Jiangnan region. Green waves and hints of red, plump pines and slender willows, reflecting in the window. The White Dragon (Baotu Spring) graciously invites the Green Lotus (Li Qingzhao), beneath the bright moon and small railing. Leaning against the rocks, holding a book, one fishing, the other pondering fish, I push aside my pillow to listen to the spring. Thanks to Xiaoxue for the excellent service."

"Fantastic stay! The free airport pick-up and drop-off were seamless. Staff were genuinely kind and helpful from check-in to check-out. I was warmly welcomed, check-in was quick thanks to pre-prepared paperwork, and I even got a WeChat message to confirm if I needed anything else. The hotel is new, modern, and clean, with a beautiful scent in the hallways that reminded me of Crown Casino Melbourne. Rooms are high-tech with heated toilet seats, and thoughtful touches like free drinks in the lobby and bottled water in the gym and room. They even helped me iron my shirts! "My stay at the Sheraton Jinan Hotel was excellent! The hotel is conveniently located at No. 8 Longao North Road, Lixia District, right next to the Olympic Sports Center. The surrounding area offers a wide range of amenities and is very easy to get around. The staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was swift. The rooms were stylish and spacious, with very comfortable bedding and a well-designed bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas. Dining options are diverse; the breakfast buffet offers a delightful mix of Chinese and Western cuisine. The Chinese restaurant serves authentic Lu (Shandong) cuisine, and the Western restaurant also offers excellent steak. The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a fitness center. Overall, the experience was fantastic. Any minor imperfections didn't detract from the enjoyment, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."

"We booked the Kangyi Connecting Family Room, and it was an excellent choice for a family group. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel generously allowed us to check in early. Even when one of the two rooms wasn’t ready yet, they let us safely leave our luggage so we could head out and tour the city without hassle. The front desk staff speak English, which made everything straightforward. Both rooms were very clean, spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The twin room even had a bath tub, while the other room was thoughtfully designed for older guests or wheelchair users, with supportive handles in the bathroom — a detail we appreciated. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the breakfast buffet at the restaurant offered a convenient start to the day. One of the highlights was that the hotel kindly allowed us a late checkout, which was incredibly helpful since our train ride was scheduled for later in the afternoon. This flexibility made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, a great hotel for families looking for convenience, comfort, and dependable service. I would definitely stay here again."
