"Lovely staff, but the water dispenser is a ”tall” order. The staff really go out of their way to help. Only problem was the water dispenser. It’s placed on a table, making it tower over me. As a short girl, using the hot water felt a bit like a stunt from a movie 😂 I was terrified of a hot splash to the face! It would be much better if it were placed at a lower, safer height. And also location prefectly in heart of bentong, walking distance to Bukit Do.. everywhere. Nasi Kandar 24h across the street."

"This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here."

Overall, my experience was a bit disappointing. I had informed the staff a day prior that I would be checking out at 5:30 a.m., and I was told that the front desk operates 24 hours. However, when I went down in the morning, there was no one at the counter. I waited from 5:30 a.m. until 6:10 a.m., and there was still no staff available.
During that time, I repeatedly called the number listed on their official website (+60 10-921 2677), but no one answered. At 6:10 a.m., I sent a WhatsApp message with my bank account details and left. The staff only replied around 6:30 a.m., and my deposit was immediately transferred to my account, which I appreciate.
Still, I hope the management can improve their coordination and ensure that the front desk is staffed as promised, especially when guests have notified them in advance.

"The room was quite spacious. It was clean and well maintained. The place is strategic with many restaurants open late till midnight along with other convenient stores. It was a late check in and the receptionist was very pleasant and gave clear instructions. The only downside is the curtain wasn't closing all the way of the windows so got lights peaking in . Overall, great hotel and hospitality."

"Disappointed booking experience with Trip.com to Karak Orchard Resort. Booking transaction completed with E-receipt given but resort didn't receive the booking. Room is clean and tidy. Facilities are old and not so well maintain. Breakfast is pretty standard, nothing too special."

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay in Antara by Cobnb. Would definitely repeat and I highly recommend to anyone planning to stay in Genting Highlands to book this property. View is breathtaking, panoramic and unblocked, you’ll never get bored of. From my unit balcony, I could see the ice age roller coaster @ Genting Skyworlds Theme Park, cable car, chin swee temple, the curvy roads, other attractions in Genting and Kuala Lumpur city. Love that clouds are at eye-level, and fogs will come and go.
In terms of amenities, since I got free upgrade to 3-bedrooms unit, it was equipped with kitchen utensils (pot, pans, knife, scissors, peeler, forks and spoons, chopsticks, plates, bowls, saucers, teapot, cups, glasses, jar), microwave, electric kettle, oven, refrigerator, induction cooker, iron and ironboard, hair dryer. TV, airconds and ceiling fans are available at living room and every bedroom. There’s also jacuzzi at the balcony. The interior is luxurious, clean and modern which I love so much. High-speed wifi is available too. To note, the amenities provided by Cobnb is of high quality!!

Incomplete Check-In & Luggage Handling: I reached the hotel lobby around 11:00 AM to check in and provided my NRIC and phone number to the receptionist for verification. Because the room was not ready yet, I told her it was fine, left my baggage with her, and requested her help to bring it up to the room once it was ready. I then rushed to catch the shuttle bus to the theme park.
Delayed Evening Check-In & Unsecured Baggage: When I arrived back at the lobby around 10:00 PM expecting to simply collect my room keys, a different receptionist took more than 15 minutes to process my check-in all over again. During this time, he also faced a printer failure while trying to print my breakfast vouchers for the next day. Furthermore, I noticed my baggage was still left out in the open area of the lobby.
Lack of Urgency at Front Desk: While waiting for my late check-in, the phone at the front counter rang continuously for more than 10 seconds. Only one staff member finally answered it, while three other staff members just stood there daydreaming. As a waiting guest, I personally felt quite irritated watching the front desk phone ring for so long without being answered.
Poor Staff Attitude: When I asked what time breakfast was served, the staff member replied, ”It's standard lah... 7:30 AM till 10:30 AM,” as if I were a barbarian who had never stayed in a hotel before asking a dumb question. Their attitude felt like I don't care.
Disregarded Guest Request: Because I was too exhausted to continue waiting for the breakfast voucher to print, I requested that the staff deliver it to my room later by simply slipping it under the door. However, when staff member came to deliver it, he still pressed the doorbell, unnecessarily disturbing my rest.
Confusing Service Design & Layout: The hotel room lifts are quite complicated to reach from the lobby. The receptionist merely pointed and told me to ”go straight and turn right.” Carrying my own baggage, I went straight, turned right, had to make a U-turn, and kept asking around before finally finding the room lift. It felt like a treasure hunt, banging around here and there until I finally reached it. I am not sure if your service design is intentionally meant to handle customers this way.
Room Cleanliness Issues: The room itself was quite dusty. I could clearly see hair and dirt on the bedsheets. There was also some black substance inside the fridge, to the point where I did not dare put any of my drinks inside.
Overall, the hotel is quite nice physically considering the age of the hotel. It just really needs to improve its service culture, staff training, and cleanliness standards.

GGuest UserThe location is great! Walking distance from eating place and convenient stores. The rooms are clean and the apartment is okay.
The rooftop swimming is great with nice view of Genting highlands.
The only one thing we don't like is theres only 1 mirror which is inside the toilet. This is a downside for us since we are family, need to take turns to use the mirror.
Need to use grab everytime because transport service timing is very limited and need to pay RM10. Grab is cheaper if you are family or group.
Overall this hotel is great! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe have stayed in this skyworlds hotel before when it was named as theme park hotel. Basically it is a 3 star hotel meant for families. So do not expect high service standards or amenities like a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Best thing about this hotel is next to the theme park and quick access to sky avenue where the main centre of genting highland. Also very close to food outlets and restaurants. As the hotel is near the road, expect vehicle noises throughout the day and night. Also close to the cable car station.

VVivienleeys96I stayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient—about 7 minutes from Awana Resort and around 20 minutes to SkyAvenue. There are also plenty of shops nearby where you can dine or pick up daily essentials, which made things very convenient.
The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the lifts were fast, so getting to the unit was easy. The unit itself is very spacious, especially for a couple, which made the stay comfortable.
That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. It would be great if the unit provided a kettle or a water filter for added convenience. Also, the water heater took quite a long time to warm up, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak.
Overall, aside from these minor issues, everything else was very good and I would say it’s definitely worth the price.

MmrseyzaaaBooking at the same day and last minute, attract from the kids pool and room. Book for one studio room, and when arrive. They said the room is full and they upgrade to family room. My kids love that room so much and so big. Also the cleaness and facility everything is good. My kids got play at kids pool and other pool also.. we have so much fun and memory in here. Definitely will be myfav place whenever i come to genting highland in the future !!

JJinHon1. The distance to First World Hotel Genting is not far, it only takes about 12 minutes by car.
2. The downside is that I stayed in a large room, and it took a lot of time to find it the first time because I couldn't figure out which tower it was in.
3. The room is well-equipped with hot water, a washing machine, and a hairdryer.
4. It can sleep a lot of people; if you squeeze, 8-9 people could fit. ❤️
5. Remember to hold your room card against the door for a bit longer when opening it.

SStefy TanOverall, the stay was decent, but the check-in process was quite a hassle. Since I booked through Trip.com, I had to ask the staff to manually sync my hotel booking details with my passport before I could proceed with the self check-in kiosk. The whole process took almost an hour, which was pretty frustrating.
The room itself was so-so, fair enough for the budget. The bathroom was quite small, and somehow the drinking water tasted a bit strange. But overall, the room was still comfortable enough for a short stay.
The best part is definitely the location. It’s super strategic, especially if you’re planning to travel to other cities like Penang. Once you go down to the first floor, you’ll immediately find the bus terminal, which was really convenient. Check-out was much better since it could be done independently through the kiosk and took less than 2 minutes.
