Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Buendia Metro Station within walking distance. Keeping busy is easy, with Ninoy Aquino Monument - Makati City, Sto. Nino de Paz Greenbelt Chapel and Ayala Triangle Gardens all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Makati hotel offers parking on site. "Staff: Wonderful hotel with professional staff. My booking was originally a king size bed but I requested a twin. They did everything to met my needs.
After a long flight I wasn’t in my best mood and they did understand and deal with me with respect and understanding.
Room: simply wonderful as usual.. this is my fourth or fifth stay and I’M will be always my home in Manila."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with a 7-Eleven and a mall conveniently nearby. The service was good; the staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. I also appreciated the water dispenser for refilling bottles and tumblers.
However, the room lacked basic amenities like toiletries, bottled water, and an electric kettle. Only towels were provided.
I had a late check-in due to my flight, and the room did not feel properly cleaned. The blanket was damp, and after spending the night, my pajamas smelled strongly of urine. I requested a change of bedding the next day, which helped reduce the smell.
The air conditioner worked fine, but the room is not soundproof at all. The surrounding area is active at night, so noise from outside can be disruptive.
Overall, it was an okay stay, but the cleanliness issues were a significant drawback."

"We love our stay here. We got the corner room which had a great city view. The room was clean and the towels are fresh and smells nice. There’s a complimentary coffee and tea while you can get the water outside where the water dispenser is. The breakfast buffet have varieties so you still options. It is very close to literally everywhere. The only downside is that the elevator is too slow."

"I would rate this hotel 4 stars. If you’re planning to go to Manila for your biometrics in Makati, this is honestly one of the best places to stay. The service was really good, and the staff were accommodating. They even have an elevator, which makes everything more convenient. The room itself is nice, clean, and well-maintained. They provide toiletries, slippers, and even a blower inside the comfort room. I was really satisfied with how complete the room was. They have a study table, an oven, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and they even provide coffee. Everything looks brand new, neat, and expensive. Overall, this place is definitely worth it. I am very satisfied, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near Manila."

"I’ve stayed at New World several times, and what impresses me the most is their consistency in service. Even with changes in management, the quality of care and hospitality has remained the same—always excellent.

JJulia031089I just fell in love with this hotel because it’s SO CLEAN! Seriously, it’s a 5-star cleanliness. From the basement parking to the rooftop pool, everything is sparkling clean. I do love it. There was almost everything we needed in the room and in the bathroom, even vanity kits and facial tissues which is not common for 3-star hotels (I would honestly give them 4 stars🤩)
Service… we did have an issue with a waiter at the breakfast in Kaokee restaurant downstairs. I wish they gave him more training time and supervision cause he looked like he was not a good fit for this resto and the hotel. If he continues to work this way, there’s just gonna be a lot of bad reviews and disappointed customers. Other than this, everyone else is super friendly, accommodating and welcoming there.
Do note that the parking is NOT free. We paid 400 pesos for around 24 hours. I guess it’s gonna be more if you stay longer.
Also, if I stay there again, I would choose no breakfast option cause I’m a fan of Malaysian/Singaporean breakfast (Kaya toast with eggs and milk tea) but it doesn’t come with your booking, they have a separate menu for hotel guests (Filipino/kinda continental options) but Kaokee resto is one of my faves now in Makati, the food is super delicious, reminds me of our trips to Malaysia and Singapore🤩 I would just pay for my breakfast next time and choose what I really want. I would also recommend their Laksa and Salted Egg Shrimps, and both hot and iced Teh (milk tea with condensed milk), the hot one is more flavorful and delicious than the iced one.
But my Mushroom and Cheese omelette was super delicious too! So was my spouse’s Longanisa.
There’s one more resto you can have breakfast in, so do check the menu there.
Their rooftop pool is quite shallow but it felt good to soak there under the sun surrounded by the Makati skyline. It was our staycation and it really worked out cause we felt like tourists in our own city🤩
Thanks to the staff who made it happen despite some disappointing times at the breakfast. Hope it will never happen again

We did however have some delay in getting the room for a large group but all in all the stay waa good.
PS. Wouldn't not recommend the rooftop bar.

OOc$I had an exceptional stay at Ascott Makati. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Makati with direct access to Glorietta Mall, making shopping, dining, and exploring the city incredibly convenient.
The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well-maintained. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space, which made it feel like a home away from home. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, ensuring everything stayed spotless throughout my stay.
The staff went above and beyond in every interaction. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the efficient service at breakfast, everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help.
The amenities are top-notch, with a relaxing pool, well-equipped gym, and great dining options. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, all fresh and delicious.

They provided toiletries and towels. There's refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Loved the separate shower (with heater) and toilet.
Easy check-in and check out.
They didn't ask for a deposit, but only 1 valid ID.
Daily guests can also use common pantry where you can use a bigger refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker. You can also refill water for free.

GGuest UserWell I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years before Covid. I haven’t been here since 2020. The staff is great. The location is good. The hotel it self is becoming run down. I mean the rooms. My sink in the bathroom did not drain well. Bathroom outdated and kinda dirty looking. They need to start renovating their rooms. The restaurant downstairs was good but after breakfast, dead. No good meals for dinner. They need to put some authentic Filipino food. Chicken/pork adobo pancit.

AAngel MilevThis was undoubtedly the best service we’ve experienced from staff in the Philippines during our six years here, and we travel frequently. The reception team was the kindest and most knowledgeable we’ve encountered, and the restaurant staff during breakfast was equally impressive. Kudos to the manager for clearly prioritizing excellent staff training at the hotel!
Hotel's amenieties are also exceptional - excellent, spacious rooms (studio type) even with a kitchenette; the swimming pool - really good for swimming, not the typical decorative stuff type; roof top bar with an excellent view; breakfast was nice with plenty of choices.
However, we weren’t particularly fond of the surrounding area, which is dominated by pubs, bars, and related establishments. While this is beyond the hotel’s control, it makes the location less suitable for family travelers—a matter that falls under city management’s responsibility. Restaurants in the hotel need to work on the meals choices they offer.
That said, the location is quite convenient, being just a 20-25 minute walk from Greenbelt, Manila’s most modern district.
